Choengmon Beach

I don't think I've ever seen so much trash on a beach (bottles, lighters, ketchup bottles, a bottle of injectable drugs.) The sea was not rough nor had it rained the previous days.

I love the beach, nice morning sunshine and
pretty cool night with moon light. One of the beautiful beaches and good choice for relaxing.

One of the nicest ones visited on Koh Samui. Wide beach. The only flaw are the dogs that "scramble" between one towel and another without any control; oh well nothing compared to the beaches where there are even pigs. Different places to eat, different environments where you can indulge in a Thai massage with a sea view. And then their beer, really good.

Choenmong Beach offers a truly dreamy experience! The climate is extremely pleasant, which makes relaxing on the beach a joy. The beach bars contribute to the perfect atmosphere with their great music and create a great mood. A highlight is definitely the water: there are no annoying stones here, just fine sand that makes swimming a pleasure. If you are looking for a relaxing and enjoyable beach day, Choenmong Beach is definitely an excellent choice!

It is a small beach, but that gives it charm, because it is not as busy as others in the vicinity. Very calm waters and several bars and restaurants. There is also the possibility of having a massage on the seashore.

Look for this lady that I attached to you, she has hands that not even Michelangelo himself (don't worry, it's a Thai massage, not one of those dirty ones with a happy ending)

Schöner Strand welcher von Touristen und Einheimischen besucht wird. Bei Ebbe ist der Strand sehr flach, Schwimmen schwierig.

Lovely beach. Some places are very very expensive to rent loungers 2000 that. But there are a few places for 150 that and we even found one place that let us use loungers for free if we bought drinks. Some days we picked a tree and just put our towels down. At one entrance to the beach there are always people trying to get you to pay. We just went to another entrance. Peaceful vibes. Just be aware some sections have lots of rocks but the middle is free of them and the best place for swimming

Great beach, bars and resturants along full length, not much local attractions, 2 very good and very different hotels 1st Kempton Kitalay high class hotel. And Honey cottages which is run by great owners and staff.
We ate twice at kitalay but accommadation was honey cottages which we will return to, great breakfast made to order, right on beach,

Stunning beach. Much quieter than other areas but definitely one of my top three beaches in Samui.

Lovely quiet beach beautiful sand bay orientation keeps the wind away making for calm water nice restaurants ect ect could be the best in Samui for relaxing without the crowds of the bigger and more well known ones
Will be definitely returning for a longer stay next time.

Very beautiful white sandy beach. Not to crowded, and yet very pleasant to swim and tan.

You will have to walk very far before you really get in deep water.

Lots of nice restaurants and cafés on the beach side.

Semi public beach in my opinion. Not many people here. Most of them are from the beach facing villas and hotels. Brautiful teal water, lomg enough stretch of beach to walk with and interesting mini island at the end.

The beach on his own is 5 stars.
Sadly covid hit this beach too, lots of things are closed (no snacks or refreshments), but charging for the sunbeds already works.
Depends on the time when you arrive and which sunbed you take it could vary from 200 bht per bed up to 500 bht. Always negotiate! Or just claim that you will be only 2h around and reduce the price! If you are really smart, take a blanket and lie between the beds and under the trees!

Never the less in 2023 I recommend this place for the beautiful landscape and a trash free zone!

Были здесь года 3-4 назад, был уютный пляж и Роял Муанг Самуи Виллас посреди всего этого. Инфраструктура на пляже была, но минимальная (достаточная) и в основном на улице через дорогу. 5 минут дойти не проблема.
Сейчас (март 2023) застроили вообще все, куча заведений, народу, вход на пляж нормальный только в районе Роял Муанг. Месиво. Очень сильно не понравилось.
Похвалить можем только Pi Samui, которую отстроили рядом с мелководьем.
Рекомендуем Маенам и Сантибури, где сейчас и отдыхаем.

Hello. Sorry for 1 Star. But it’s a fair grade. It’s not about the entrance. 4 years ago Choengmon was a nice small
cozy beach: a few people, a few places to visit, some construction sites.
If you want action, go across the street, go visit places and restaurants. If you want to relax, stay on the beach.
Now the beach is built up from start to finish. And I went from start to finish. A lot of people. A lot of so-so places, Carnival is OK, but overcrowded, the only place I can recommend is Pi Samui.
I’m especially sorry for Royal Muang Samui Villas: we stayed at this hotel 2 times, now there’s a loud beach bar next to the hotel. We will never return to Muang.
Basically you ruined the feeling of relaxation and peace of mind. You created a Samui version of Patong, if I may say so, but worsened. Even our guide was shocked, she said she visited Choengmon before the New Year, and it wasn’t so overcrowded.
Action, action, action everywhere, cheap and lazy. The only classy place, I repeat, is Pi Samui. If not for this place, we would have left in an hour.

One of the best beaches in Samui. This part of Samui is less crowded. Best part is shallow water. Kids can enjoy and walk around in water without any fear. People who can't swim may also enjoy the shallowness.

Cons: Difficult to access this beach if you don't stay one of the resorts near beach. There is a private path to the beach and you need to pay entry fee and parking fee.for bike 10 baht, car 20 baht. Each person 10 baht. It is cheap.

Very nice beach. Waters are calm and good for kinds and adults. Many places to sit and eat or chill.
