I trained there for a month and it was difficult to say goodbye. Good coaches, hard and demanding classes, beautiful location, good vibes and the fight nights are great.

Here’s an edit for the sake of fairness. This gym higiene is a serious problem. I got a wound infected there that needed to be drained in a hospital. To later find out I wasn’t the only one in that same period who also got a similar infection. Also, I came back to this gym in January for one more session. It’s extremely packed, they have way too many students per coach.

We messaged the gym the night before to book training for 4 people. The price is affordable and our coach was professional. We had a lot of fun learning basic moves, punches and kicks. This is definitely a physical challenge so be prepared! It would be nice if they provided water, but make sure to bring some with you.

I visited other MT gyms on Koh Phangan. Chin's is by far the best. Very good training, motivated trainers and a very pleasant atmosphere.

I had the opportunity and pleasure to train at Chinnarach for 40 days in Feb / March 2018.
Master Chin and all the staff will treat you as part of their family with lots of love and respect from the time you enter.
All the trainers are always ready to go out of their way to provide support for you and ensure that you pushed to the maximum of your ability to learn and develop. Still considering myself as a beginner, I received great guidance in improving my technique during my time at Chinnarach. I also managed to got into one the best shape of my life with great improvement in overall conditioning.

Master Chin ensures that the trainers provide enough personal attention to all the trainees no matter if you are experienced or a beginner. Everyone gets a great amount of personal attention and padwork during every 2 hour session. The classes are fun and divided into different parts with good amounts of rest breaks in between.
This format makes it very ideal for beginners. I highly recommend taking at least a few personal sessions to help you develop at much faster pace.
The trainers and trainees at the camp fight on a regular basis at local competitions at the thongsala stadium.

Master Chin is a two time world champion and is very well known on the island. If the locals on the island knows you are his student, you are immediately treated with a lot of respect.

Regarding the location, Chinnarach is centrally located very close to thongsala pier and the Pantip food market. Staying at the camp is economical and recommended to keep focus on your training.

If you are looking for a place and people who will care about you as person and your development, I highly recommend Muay Thai Chinnarach.

Now that I am back home I really miss my family at Chinnarach and am literally counting the days to get back.

Really recommend this place. Chin is really friendly and caring. The trainings are good. The private sessions with Tem and were good. Padwork with Keng and Billy was fun too. Overall the vibe at the gym is great and I was welcomed with open arms both by trainers and students. Had a great time here. Thanks to everybody at Chinnarach wish I could stay longer but definitely see you again.

I was on KP for 3 months and tried 4 different MT gyms. This was definitely the best. As a beginner they really offer amazing coaching while having high level group classes. Amazing trainers, brilliant vibe, a genuine sense of the MT community and culture. Honestly gutted to leave.

Awesome Muay Thai gym. People are great and very welcoming. The fighters are legit. 2x world championship gym…nothing more to say. P. S.make sure to bring cash to purchase some merchandise! (I got traditional shorts)
