This tour is recommended. There are four major parts of the tour.
First you will start at the north side of the islands. Here the group will split in two parts and you will do snorkelling and kayakking.
The kayakking is fun as we go between the rocks and also inside area also. Get few pictures taken here.
Second part is middle part of island where you walk up some stairs and then see lagoon lake. The view point here is very pretty.
Then there is third part which is south of island and here you should do view point. It's hard work climbing but it will be worth it.
Then fourth part is lunch. I personally found the tour nice but the meal was a little underwhelming. The guides are helpful and the activities are fun.
Few small things I really loved. The boat has an upper deck where we can go and relax.
They also have medicine for sea sickness which made the day comfortable.

The tour was very nice. Everything was perfectly organized and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My personal highlight was kayaking. Since some people didn't want to make the climb to the second viewpoint, we were able to go on another kayak tour with a guide. Thank you for the lovely day!

Great trip, thoroughly exhausting! We chose to hike to the view point in the morning, even though it was overcast and only around 29 degrees C, we were sweating buckets!
We're of relatively average fitness but it took us the full 1.5 hours to get up and back down. Our very physically fit guide advised it was about 45minutes there and back!
Breakfast was very light, a croissant, and sliced pineapple and watermelon, but lunch was hearty Thai curries with rice and veg and there was an afternoon snack too.

Snorkelling was really good, saw tonnes of exotic fish. The kayaking we took slowly, soaking in the view, it was a lovely end to the day.

The guide was very informative and you were given options as to what you wanted to do all day.
If the breakfast was a little bigger and the description of the viewpoint hike was more accurate (in just how difficult it really is) it would have been an easy 5 star review for a great day!

I booked a trip with Blue Stars and was unable to attend. They were extremely understanding and helpful with trying to reschedule my trip. It still didn't work out for me, so they issued me a refund without any issue at all. They are definitely a classy business and I hope I have an opportunity to finally go on a trip with them next time I am there.

The marine park is beautiful and with this tour you see a lot of it at a leisurely pace. There is not much to see during snorkeling, the kayaking is fun but does not include any explanation or background. Marcus is good at keeping everyone on schedule but a little pushy. His information is limited to keeping to the time table, but has little to say about things like the history or nature in the park. It is not really a tour, more like taxi driver dropping you off at points of interest.

Very dissatisfied. The website offered so much but after a 1 hour drive then a 2 hour boat ride on a dirty and uncomfortable boat we were split into 2 groups. First group went kayaking and 2nd group snorkelled in an area full of dangerous sea urchins with little visibility. No fish or anything else to see. The kayaking involved going around one small island. Many could not kayak which meant everyone else had to wait for them as they got stuck etc and then back on the boat for a very disappointing lunch. The German tour guide was aggressive and notably rude to the Chinese guests stating I can only speak English and German whilst he shrugged his shoulders. Then we went to the Emerald lake where again some of us kayaked but had to wait for the slow and inexperienced. The groups should have been divided into experienced and inexperienced but it was German and English group but there was no talking during either kayak. We then looked at emerald lake but had left our money on the boat so we couldn’t buy a drink or food on the awful tiny beach we stopped at for over an hour. Hardly anywhere to sit so we were thirsty and sat in the sun with no towel or sun protection let alone water. Then a disappointing and extremely uncomfortable 2 hr ride back to Samui and over an hour as people got dropped off. The boat also had a very large crack in one of the main poles. I can’t stress how uncomfortable the boat is. The seats are made for thais and there is no means to relax. An awful boring day out and at THB5000 for two very expensive. Give it a miss. It is nothing like phi phi tour on the Phuket side.

Such a great trip! Myself and husband thoroughly enjoyed the day. The manager and his team were extremely helpful and attentive and they made sure we were comfortable at all times. The breakfast, lunch and refreshments were lovely and the we felt the trip was great value for money. The journey back was extremely choppy and as a result a lot of people were poorly or felt uneasy. Our minds were put at ease by the crew and they were very reassuring.
Would highly recommend!

We are a couple and we participated in the tour to Ang Thong Marine Park. The only added value (for a higher price of 600 baht per person) was the 45 minute kayaking in the morning, carried out in an area not beaten by other tourists. Meals were average and we had only a short briefing on the boat and not a word during kayaking.

They ask 2500 baht per person and a deposit of half price - to be payed with PayPal or credit cards - to book the tour.
They don't stop on the main island Wua Talap to visit the Bua Bok cave.
It takes about 4 hours of navigation go to the park and back.
There are two stops during the tour. The first one in the morning for snorkeling (45 minutes) and kayaking (45 minutes). The second one after lunch to visit Mae Ko island and the inner "green lake" made famous by "The Beach" (1 hour) and kayaking (30 minutes).

Great tour to Ang Thong. Was in a large group of 20+ people, divided into two groups, so it was a group tour experience. But still a fun schedule. Awesome boat with sun deck and good food. Tour guides were super nice and helpful.

Pirates!

Experience was great. Green Lagoon was beautiful. The boat was slow but steady getting from Samui to the park. Breakfast and lunch on the boat were tasty and as good as could be expected. Guides gave great explanation and instruction.

Only problem I encountered was that 2000 Baht somehow escaped my backpack that I left on the boat while I was out rafting. That was disappointing to discover once I got back to land in the minibus on the drive back to my hotel 9n Samui.

So, when they tell you to bring "pocket money" for refreshments at the scenic overlook island, keep the money in your pocket. Don't leave anything of value on the boat because unfortunately the crew cannot be trusted.
