Bigblue Bungalow

We ate here often during our stay.the food is always good, especially the thai and italian.great pizza and pasta.good portions and a bonus, they are more affordable than other places around.quite a refreshing and peaceful break from the constant loud party music as well.

The best restaurant on this beach for sure! Very affordable prices, big portions of food and a very appealing location. Perhaps the milkshakes are a bit artificial, but apart from that the food is of top quality. Staff is friendly and understanding, you shouldn’t worry about leaving your stuff at this place and going for a swim at a beautiful beach.

Freindly service, nice views over the beach, reasonable value considering its location. Four of us ate an evening meal with drinks. No one was disappointed, with potion size or taste. Would recommend

Pim, the owner showed us some rooms. Will definitely plan long-term stay next time. Restautant good, pepple friendly, sand is fine & easy on the feet.

Absolutely disgusting place, the worst we saw in the whole country. Very dirty, dust and spider webs everywhere, completely dark rooms (you need to use electric light all day to see something), bathroom smells very bad, sink was broken (the water was just flowing through - see photos), no hot water, no AC. Mosquito nets, blankets and rug were probably not washed for months.
And this was the “VIP” rooms.

They can probably only allow themselves to offer rooms for this still

price because of two things:

- the area is often completely booked on the weekends
- the reviews get mixed up with the restaurant

The restaurant has decent food but you only get it if you’re lucky. The staff seems to have no idea what you order, it takes forever and they mix up everything. They say your food is coming and then it never arrives. Waited one hour and then had to leave still hungry.

The beach it’s located at is amazing though - save yourself from ruining this experience by staying literally anywhere else you can find.

Can get quite hot during the day since they only have fan rooms, we stayed here for 2 nights because Pariya Resort does not turn on electricity for 18 hours per day. At least here we have the fan running.
They put on movies at night at the restaurant.

Cons are: dirty bedsheets and pillows, was clearly used by others and was not changed. Very basic room for the price compared to other resorts in Haad Rin where there are electricity all day and airconditioning.

I was at the he restaurant of Big Blue resort, it's very good food, a quite pricey as all the places around in this beach. It has a snooker table, it's great to play with this wonderful view of Haad Yuon. I totally recommend, next time I'm planning to stay overnight here, there are bungalow for 500 bath at this time of year.

I didn’t stay here so I can only comment on the food. I ate here twice and the food was amazing! Lots of choice for vegetarians and cheap prices!

Best place in the world! Amazing Burmese staff that will become your friends. Good food, cheap bungalow with double bed, porch and shower. Once you been here you will be back. Paradise.
