Ban's Diving Resort

Super Location and very nice Team. Bans diving school offers many opportunities and Makes sure you feel Great. I did.the Open water course with anthony griffiths, which was a blast. We had the Best time with the best instructor. I will Do the Advanced course here aswell since the whole concept of teaching and the Location convinced me and exceeded my expectations.

Spent a week doing fun dives at Bans. Absolutely loved it. Great set up, and stress free. Would highly recommend coming to Bans. It's at the centre of everything.

This dive school is an absolute joke. Surprised they are still in business. Worst staff, super disrespectful, laughed in my face when I asked about their courses. Which is hilarious because by no means do they have the skill requirements to act like this lmao. This is by far the WORST scuba dive center on the island. DIVE ANYWHERE BUT HERE.

I took the Open Water and Advanced Course with Anthony Griffins and it was amazing! Colin and Dion were the best dive masters helping us and assisting us gently all the time.
The people who come to Ban’s are amazing too so I had an amazing time and I’m so glad I learned scuba diving here with these people!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND BAN'S - RUDE EMPLOYEES. The experience at the resort was good in general, however some members of the team stand out for their rudeness and unwillingness to work. Especially one of them, who is supposed to help with the luggage during your trip, however he just watches you carry it and waits in the shadows, while he plays deaf or directly tells you that he is not going to help you, He even intimidates you with comments or gestures. Professionals like this ruin the entire experience, just because of them I would not book again. I think Ban's should take into account the employees they hire.

We have done the Open Water Diver with Ban‘s and it was so great we decided to extend our stay at the fabulous resort to do the Advanced Open Water Diver. This was a whole nother experience. With Anthony and Melvin along with Dion as our instructors we had a great time and learned a lot! Would definitely recommend!

Had a great experience at Ban’s completing the OW course with my wife and son (11 years old - junior open water). Laurin was an amazing instructor and very supportive, patient and fun! Would recommend him to anyone, especially to parents with children in junior open water. Thanks!

I had an amazing time competing my open water. The diving school had excellent equipment and was really professional. Maria our instructor was brilliant and so helpful, she also has a cute dog that which was a great classmate to have!

It’s a huge diving school, with 3-4 Pools and lots of instructors. The diving equipment for the tour seemed a bit old especially the vest but I guess that’s part of the game as it’s a mass tourism thing on Ko Tao. However the instructors are super nice and helpful.

The other diving equipment which they use for the divng lessons seemed to be very new, at least from what I could see.

Diving Tours are staring two times a day one in the morning the afternoon.

The Hotelzimmer was good, everything super clean and early checkin wasn’t a problem.

Super schöne Anlage, sehr freundliches hilfsbereites Personal mit einem Top ausgestatteten Fitnessstudio. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Wir haben insgesamt 9 Nächte in diesem Resort verbracht weil es einfach fantastisch war. Das Hotel hat eine super Lage und ist auch optimal zum tauchen geeignet, da es auch deutsche Tauch Instructor gibt.

Thanks to Ban's Resort and all its team I had a great time. Thank you especially to Maria, our instructor, who allowed us to pass our open water in complete safety. I had a wonderful time at the bottom of the water with them. Thanks to you, I had a great experience for my first time diving. I strongly advise you to go there. Thank you for all.

I came to Bans to do my IDC (instructor course) and what an experience! I had the best course directors, Monique and Tim, on the island. They have so much experience to lean on, gave so much of their time and knowledge and made what could be a stressful two weeks into fun! Going from being very unsure about dive theory they guided me through it all and I ended up smashing the exams.
Anyone interested in the IDC, I would highly recommend going to Bans. You will get the best of the best to get you off to a brilliant diving career. I will cherish this time and the people I met here forever!

We stayed there for 4 nights to do our Open Water Diving License. We stayed in the Deluxe Hilltop Room, which we can highly recommend. It is clean and has a nice view. You have a good choice of breakfast menus in Bans restaurant directly at the beach and you can refill your water bottles at any time for free.
I was a bit scared of diving in the beginning, but in the end I felt quite safe and excited. We liked our Open Water Dive with Mario so much, that we continued with the Advanced Open Water License, eventhough it ment for us traveling from one side of the island to the other, as we had booked another hotel at another beach of Koh Tai for the remaining nights.
I can highly recommend Bans and if we ever come back, I am sure we will stay with them again and take some of the fun dives with Mario!

Amazing dive school and resort!
Jason was our instructor and we had Ronny as our dive master. They were both super helpful and patient. My husband and I had a great experience doing the open water diver training. Their restaurant is pretty good too. Beautiful property. Would definitely come back.

Cool spot to hang out for food and drinks, the primary focus here is diving but it isn’t exclusive, you can come here and enjoy the view.

Great diving school resort with great instructors and nice facilities on the iskand of koh tao in thailand. We got PADI open water certified and PADI advanced open water. Staff was great and experience was amazing and value. Fun time. We have since returned back for fun dives and plan to get Rescue Diver here. Great school, resort, restaurant, and hospitality. Enjoy!
