Banana Rock

Very nice place for a bite to eat or a drink! The food was not very special, but just tasty. We didn't realize that it would actually be closed at 8: 00 PM, but the man opened it again especially for us and called the kitchen. We thought this was very sweet!

Beautiful views and chill music, friendly staff who spoke good English. We had some fresh coconuts (70 baht each). We ordered food, had to wait for more than an hour, with unclear further waiting time, so we cancelled as we were very hungry. This also meant we had no time to snorkel on the beach. The employee said he recommends people only to order drinks and not food, as this happens all the time as the other restaurant on the beach actually makes the food.but we didn't get that disclaimer.

Very cool spot. One of the best bars I’ve ever been to. Great mixed drinks, tall beers for 100 baht, lots of reggae music, very chill staff. Very hidden and not crowded. Decent snorkeling off the beach it’s at. Easy 5 ️

We went there for a quick drink in the afternoon and the place was stunning; the decoration and construction are really cool and the views to the beach are over the top. Staff was very friendly. Great vibes!

I went a Wednesday to drink something and watch the sunset and it was closed. But there's another beautiful bar oposite to this one that was very good with also nice views

Made in wood. On the top of the see. It s just the most beautiful place on earth.
Easy to go swim with the turtle and go back for a beer. Please have a stop in this great place.

Definitely one of the best places in Koh Tao, original, beautiful view on the sunset and good choice of music makes the sunset "aperitivo" experience very much appreciated!

Decent bar with a seating arrangement. It was pretty quiet when we were there but has great views of the beach and out to sea.

Cool place with chill vibes. Stopped for drinks while walking around the coast. Is a bit off the beaten track and quite rustic.
Worth a stop if you are in the area.

My favorite chill place in Koh Tao. The lady of the first bar is so nice so we were coming to her place to play cards, drink beers and enjoy the sunset.

Not knowing what to expect - we hopped in a truck taxi that took us straight there. The all paved road was very hilly and bendy and would have been difficult to get to on our own.
We showed up and saw a few groups just leaving so pretty much had the place to ourselves as it was getting dark. Checked out a few of the buildings and asked the woman if we could eat there and she brought out some menus. Everything we ordered was the best tasting Thai food we’ve had so far!
The family that lives/works there all very kind and friendly.
Definitely worth checking out, very cool to go somewhere off the track and with interesting vibes. I suggest going before it gets dark to avoid feeling like you’re in the middle of the jungle trying to leave.
Also, it’s a must to arrange with your taxi to pick you up after!

A bit out of the way, but a cool driftwood bar. Nice beach there, good sunset view. We were looking for some green and we found it here.

Location is ideal, food was unreal and the little kittens that run about just makes a brunch way better!

Amazing sightseeing with 2 bars where you can eat for a really good price, I have had lunch for 165 baths! Very clear water and very calm, perfect beach!
