Banana Fan Sea Resort

What can I say about Banana Fan Sea, it was our fourth time here and our home away from home when in Samui.

The location is perfect, beachfront at Chaweng with lots of sun beds either around the pool or on the beach.

The pool area, although a bit smaller after the renovations, is very refreshing especially with the swim up bar to quench your thirst.

The breakfast buffet is well stocked with lots of choices and an egg station to cook you that perfect omelette. Our tea/coffee orders were remembered each day which is pretty cool considering the resort was at almost capacity during our stay (can recommend the cha yen - Thai iced tea).

There are various types of rooms available from pool villas overlooking the ocean to garden view rooms with your own balcony. Air conditioning in the rooms work very well and the rooms are serviced daily with fresh bottles of water restocked.

But for me it's the staff that really make Banana Fan. From the moment you arrive they are friendly, welcoming and only happy to help you any way they can. Thanks especially go to Yot and Songkran who really helped make our stay.

It is an exceptional hotel, location, room, service, food and the warmth of the staff is exceptional! We have stayed in many hotels around the world, but here you feel at home and every wish is read from your lips! Rarely experienced something dreamlike

Were there for the fifth time now. As always, a lovely stay. Everything is just right here.

Wonderfully relaxed, excellent care and both breakfast and menu are excellent. Lovely sandy beach and excellent beach beds.

The reception staff leave a lot to be desired in terms of friendliness and treatment. Upon arrival they told us that we could check out at 1: 30 p.m. (without asking us anything, as a courtesy). Due to this, we organize the departure day counting on leaving at 13.30. Well, the night before departure, they call us saying that we have to leave at 12.surreal.
It is not an adapted hotel since all the rooms have stairs. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The pool full of children, at least during our stay. The hammocks reserved by the typical people who go to have breakfast and leave the towel for the whole day. The best, the beach.

The food, the facility and the location of the hotel are top. Unfortunately, the service is not suitable for the hotel - sometimes poor English, service at the pool bar is hardly available and there are no freshly squeezed juices that you can get on every corner. Also for breakfast only juice concentrates at 4*. The team at reception is very accommodating and helpful!

Top hotel with the best service and the most beautiful stretch of beach on Chaweng Beach. Great. We've been to the BFS for the 10th time now. Our second home.

Most incredible hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff here are the best I’ve ever experienced, really polite and go way above and beyond my expectations. Food was delicious. You can also use the paddle boards and kayak in the sea as a customer. I’d highly recommend and didn’t want to leave!

Wondeful resort! Super comfy room, really relaxed vibe, great location right on the beach, staff is very kind. Super recommend!

Beautiful resort with an amazing swimming pool and beach. Can't fault it in any way. Reasonably priced as well

Great beach hotel and Resort right on the beach in Chaweng. Beach beds avaliable and great pool. We came for lunch and stayed all afternoon

We spent wonderful 2 weeks here and couldn’t ask for more. Everything was excellent. The resort is beautiful with lots of green. Everything is super clean and the rooms very nice. Location is superb. Right on the beach which is also very clean and great for kids especially when the tide is low. The infinity pool is also great.
What’s best about the place though is the wonderful staff. Everyone was so so friendly - especially to our 5 year old daughter. Special thanks to Diamond - you are great and we hope to be back some day. We already miss this place.

After having a disastrous experience in the hotel next door (see my review of KC Beach Club), we arrived at this hotel just wanting a clean, well-maintained hotel. Safe to say that this resort beat all expectations. The whole resort feels like a small oasis and the rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Service was super friendly across the hotel and the swimming pool (and bar in the swimming pool) cannot be beat. We also had breakfast and dinner at the resort and both were very good and reasonably priced. We only stayed for 2 nights before moving on, but it was with pain in our hearts that we left and it was by far the best stay we had during our trip in Thailand.

Unglaublich tolles Hotel mit guter Preis/Leistung! Geräumigen, hübsch (kleinen) gestalteten Zimmern, Personal ist super, super freundlich - ich würde es auf jeden Fall empfehlen hier zu übernachten!

Jeden Abend nochmals Zimmer geprüft und Schuhe/Sachen vor Zummer schön sortiert, Kerze für Aroma im Badezimmer angezündet, etc…?

Toller Strand, Pool, klein aber sehr fein. Super Drinks an Kevin‘s Bar, Hotel gut gelegen in Chaweng, stets genug Platz Strandliegen. Einfach der Hammer hier - wir blieben 7 Nächte

Modern hotel, however, each room still has its own atmosphere (I believe it was renovated last year). The staff was really friendly and openminded. The hotel seemed to be booked out, we still never had the feeling that it was overcrowded. The beachfront and breakfast are outstanding (definitely, best hotel in Chaweng).
However, some guest acted disrespectful, singing and yelling during nighttime. Unfortunately, security was not doing anything about it. Next time we will avoid the Chaweng area because it is more a party area and shabby (the hotel stands as firm as a rock).

The place looks fantastic! Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and the owner is super nice. Close to town but very peaceful inside, very recommended for the retreat. Live music and Fire Performance on the beach. If you're into the booze, there's so many rare item at the bar you don't usually find anywhere. Best ingredients, crystal- clear ice, and even mixer of the booze, I love the way the owner likes to eat well and wants the customer to have the best out of it too. Even one small thing like the pattern on the staff's Hawaiian shirt is the very own design of this place that shows the attention to the small detail even the shirt. Incredible 10 out of 5!

Had lunch at Kevin”s Bar while on Chaweng beach. The food was very tasty. It was happy hour as well but unlike other places that do 2 for 1 etc, they just take 70THB off a 300THB drink, so still a little pricey
