Baan Talay Resort

Under current circumstances, this hotel refused to refund or rebook at a a later time while there’s a travel ban. I’m willing to change dates too. But ‘no, they know it’s no cancellation. ’

Well your country doesn’t want us to go. It’s not under our control. I tried to minimize both our losses. Not even rebooking. I’m astonished.

So, other travelers, be aware. Anything could happen to you or the whole world and they won’t care.

Great place to stay, close to everything but away from the noise. They would have got 5 stars however they need to replace the rusted dangerous umbrellas at the pool.

Beautiful resort, very nice clean rooms with huge bathroom just a few steps to the pool and sea. Staff so very kind!:)

I didn’t stay at Baan Talay, but I ate at their restaurant, “The Hive, ” which is just on the beach and overlooks a gorgeous horizon.
Such a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere to rest in, and the staff are extremely kind and hospitable, and very pleasant. The service was simply outstanding. We had the farm salad and shakshuka and were very impressed with the quality of the food here. Everything was fresh and made with great attention and care. It was one of the best shakshuka dishes I’ve ever had, actually!
So, thank you to the lovely waiter who served us today and thank you Baan Talay for providing such a serene environment to nourish the senses and the soul.

It's not luxury but it's decent and it's literally on the beach as in ON THE BEACH has little cocktail bar too which helps, there are place near by on the beach side and the road side to eat, rent bikes or have messages etc. Great value for money and on the beach.

Great resort by the beach in Koh Samui, Thailand, clean room, great pool, near to the airport and pier, good restaurant althought little bit expensive, totally worth it!

My wife and I stayed at the Baan Talay Resort last year. We had a spectacular time. The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel always felt safe, the restaurant's food was great, and the location was perfect. Highly recommend! A must stay if in Koh Samui

Lovely resort and close to the beach. Good food and nice location. Specially for family, couples and friends.

Good Hotel, Great Location, But very Small Rooms. We got a Very Small Room for 4 people that is even Very Small for 2. The internet is very poor. Breakfast is OK, also the swimming pool is nice and big.

Attached to the beach is this super beautiful resort. Have beautiful rooms and a nice swimming pool. But be careful when u give ur room for clean up, chances of theft are higher. There is one Indian restaurant just opposite to the resort named govinds which serves pure veg food and also pure Jain food available. Rental bikes are easily available outside the resort.

The pool and the beach amazing. Nice breakfast. The standart room is too small. The bathroom too dark. The location is really bad.

Breakfast is very good and pool and beach are nice but some wind weather location is good recomend you

Directly on the beach with a pool, bar and restaurant.

I'm a bit shock that the pool not as huge as I think. The room is great, the service is good but the breakfast not really enjoyable

It was ok. Not mor.
The location of the hotel is grate its a litel bit old, the shawer was Horrible and the coulden fix it.
The breakfast is very good.

Everything seems OK. They only have 3 bungalow on the beach, and all the others are just behind and many of those are in front of the pool. Personels are kind. Place is pretty near to the movida so it seems safe to walk from the resort to central festival (about 20 mins by feet or about 5mins by car).

Great value for money (very much so). Breakfast was good. We drove around the entire island and came to the conclusion that this beach with this resort was the best beach on the island.

Only issue was parking; The reception takes your car keys while you leave the car there, but they have no security measure to identify who owns which car so any one can drive off with anyone’s car.

Nice cozy resort at the beach, very friendly staff, clean, but probably need a small renovation.
