Baan Suan Resort Donsak

The location is very private and surrounded by beautiful greenery, great location few food places around and small shops (only bits and bobs in the shop) one of the good food places with great views is called ‘mangrove beach cafe ’ it’s a 5 mins walk from the huts (maps tell you the wrong direction) once you see the sign advertising it’s down the street and then you take a left and it will be there.
Rooms are nice I added some photos as they haven’t been updated. £15 you can’t go wrong and the staff are nice to very helpful.

Next to the ferry to Koh Samui/Phangan, ideal if you are passing through. Fine for a night, but not longer. For the price they ask you can't expect too much, it's very cheap. The houses are a bit small but cozy. There are many mosquitoes. Everything could have been a bit cleaner, the toilet smelled and it looked like there was sand in the bed.

Nice huts and clean. The only disadvantage is the hard and thin mattress, but fine for a night. Highly recommended. The ferry is within walking distance!

Small clean cozy chalets for overnight stay before going to Koh Samui. The resort provides a 4x4 shuttle to the nearby Raja or Setran Ferry Terminal. The hospitality of the chalet management is excellent. A recommended resort for those who need to stay overnight in Donsak before taking the ferry to Koh Samui or Koh Phangan.

Simple but beautiful bungalows. Large and comfortable bed. Interior bathroom with shower. In the middle of the forest. There is not much life around but it is nice and quiet. Ideal place to catch the ferry to Koh Samui

I had to put a star because zero is not allowed. The stench (a mix of pee and sewage) in the room is unbearable, the bathroom is unsightly and full of ants, there are tiny insects like mosquitos on the bed. We went to the reception to ask if it was possible to change the room but the staff could not be found even by ringing the bell. We are forced to spend the night in this place without being able to even use the air conditioning because keeping it on will cause the smell to move even more. What else? Ah yes.there is also a rooster that has already started crowing. Anyway, we hope to make it through the night, because tomorrow we'd like to do the tent experience.

Quiet place in the garden very close to Samui ferry. We are using it doing border run. Good price and location, they have a small bar and you can order a breakfast.

Great place to grab a room before catching an AM ferry. Clean, comfortable affordable and with friendly staff. That is how I would describe this place. It's very close to the ferry and even offers secure parking at a cheaper price than the long term parking lot at the ferry

When we arrived at the hotel, we were shocked to find out that our booked rooms were not available. The hotel staff suggested that we stay in another building, but the quality of the accommodation was much worse than what we had booked. We expressed our disappointment, but instead of offering a solution, the staff became rude and demanding, pressuring us to cancel our reservation on the booking site.

As a result, we were forced to look for new accommodation late in the evening, which was incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. The hotel staff's lack of professionalism and poor handling of the situation made our stay a disappointing experience.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, as their customer service is severely lacking, and they do not value their guests' comfort or satisfaction.

Small and cosy huts with very nice staff. The food is good, too. There is nothing to complain.

Very quiet and beautiful resort, bungalows are wooden and it feels very close to nature, surrounded by flowers and trees. Very pleasant to wake up in a wooden bungalow and see outside the green garden.
There is also a small restaurant with home made delicious food, very tasty.
The owners are amazing, the family that owns the resort is very helpful and drove me around and talked to long tail drivers on my behalf when I was unable to continue my journey to Koh Paluai or Koh Nok Tamphao due to boats being cancelled. Thank you very much, I do not know what I would do without your help.

I will come again for sure!

Rooms were so nice and clean and the first I've stayed in in Thailand with no bugs squeezing in. The service was so good, the staff also booked our ferry tickets and drove us down to the pier in the morning. There isn't lots to do in terms of its location but the location for the ferry is ideal

Had to stay here for 2 nights after my ferry was cancelled but was very pleasantly surprised about the quality of the rooms. Large comfy bed, TV, powerful shower. The staff were also extremely friendly and amenable. Only not 5 stars due to the location (so close to the port but nearest 7-11 is 30 minute walk)

Located just next to Raja Ferry Donsak. Spent a night here before catching a ferry tomorrow morning. Room was quite spacious with a queen bed, air-conditioned, a flat TV, fridge and water heater
