Aqua Samui reviews
16Our stay at the villa was excellent. The villa was beautiful and the host Jordi was amazing. He made us feel very welcome and helped us out with taxis, scooters and gave us recommendations for nightlife and food. 10/10 will stay again when we are next in koh samui
We stayed at Aqua Residence for six weeks and didn't want to leave. We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 and a half bath (no tub) with a full kitchen (that seats 6), nice living area with a big tv (w/ Netflix), sliding glass doors leading to a balcony off the bedrooms, and others leading to the private infinity pool off of the living area. The view faces east over the Gulf of Thailand with gorgeous sunrises and moonrises.
Cat, the manager, is great! She greeted us when we arrived and gave us the details about the villa, the housekeeping schedule, the pool cleaning schedule, access to the well-equipped, fitness center, scooter/taxi rental; anything we needed.
One mention, the reason the views are so magnificent is because Aqua Residence is up a steep incline. It would be difficult to walk the hill to go into town and back. Especially during the hot days when the temperature can feel like 35°C/100°F. Therefore I recommend a scooter (rental is cheaper than a taxi) to go to the beaches, temples and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay in Koh Samui and Aqua Residence was the icing on the cake!
We’ve rented a villa here for 2 months.
There are few problems (dogs, road, sometimes loud) but overall it was very good experience.
I really like liked the design of our villa. And the view is one of the best in Samui. Highly recommended!
I stayed here for a while and unfortunately can not recommend this place. While the views are great, the property is badly managed. There are many stray dogs around that loudly bark at any time of day or night and there's often loud construction work going on. The parking situation is also a bit of a mess if you stay in the top row of houses. Some of the owners seem very cliquey and behave like they own the whole complex.
Beware that all villas are owned by different owners and some are poorly maintained. The management uses same pictures for all villas which have ill representation of the one that you will actually get.
We were given the Villa #3, which is in really bad condition. After a discussion with staff we agreed to pay for 1 day, and found much better accommodation for the same price at Verano Residence (also 3br in later vs. 2br in the former).
I would advise you to look for another accommodation, unless you enjoy playing secret santa with your resorts.
Good villas, the place is up the hill and the road is not a easy ride, especially if you’re renting scooters. There is a free shuttle to the main road and they offer taxi service to and from airport for 500 THB each way. At the time we were staying there was construction going and it seems that it will be going on for few months as they were completing construction of 4 other villas.
Great residence with breathtaking view on Chaweng bay, and north east of Samui, Big Buddha, etc.
Serviced Villas, smoking not allowed inside the villa, Music cannot be loud post 10: 00 p.m. Receptionist is little rude.
Biggest draw back is the transfer from the main road to the villa, as it is located on a steep slope which is approx 800 Mtrs - 1 Km. Long.
Good Villas, well maintained, the staff is not as courteous as other properties, late night food delivery is an issue, the view from the villa is great, transfer to the main places in the city is a little inconvenient.
The distance is too far from the beach. The pool is quite small unlike shown in pics. Too many street dogs inside the property. But the place is an amazing party pad.
The villas are beautiful and the staff is also very sweet and helpful, special thanks to P Pop and P Polina!
Just one problem that’s it’s a little far from main chaweng area and it’s up the Mountain so you will always need a cab to go anywhere,
But the hotel provides it at very good rates.
No words to describe the place. It's amazing in every sense.
Great rooms, private infinity pool with the view of Chaweng Town and the ocean. It's spectacular.
It's up the hill so the road is pretty steep. Be careful.
The best of my life spent at this place. Edge pool view of the vast samui beach and waters till horizon. Brilliant rooms but aliytle out of hands expensive. Maybe stay for just one day and make the most of it. Near chawang beach so best location. But the hilly road to the resort is a pain. Its so steap that its scary.
Residence de luxe. Certains appartements ne beneficent pas de la superbe vue sur Chaweng.

The manager of this residence posted a request on Facebook asking for someone to "get rid" of the dogs by taking them to the jungle to die. If you are Eco-friendly, you might want to stay away from this place.
I was reading the comment about the dogs, which is completely false. I live here at AQUA as a full time resident and I love living here. We have 6 dogs on the site, which we all love and our guests love them as well. I personally spend about Baht 500 per week and feed them daily. The villa's here are fantastic with great Ocean Views and private Infinity Pool and our location on the south side of Chaweng Beach is close to everything.
