Thank you for hosting my family. We had a lovely time at your resort. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly and helpful! The rooms are cozy. The pool is amazing.
We especially loved Khai’s hospitality. He manned the beach and the pool area with a 1000 watt smile!
Taking back great memories from the trip all because of Anantara!

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful pool suite, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. 12 nights Anantara. We enjoyed a great dinner on the beach one evening with live music, a real must do. Centrally located too. Room service every day and clean rooms. We will definitely go back. Btw all Anantara resorts are recommended️️️️️

Magnificent hotel. 4 days of true luxury. The facilities, both the hotel and the room, the breakfast is a SHOW, the private beach and the staff.
We would have stayed much longer.

Thank you so much for an incredible stay. My second time to Thailand, first time travelling alone and this was the perfect resort, location and experience. I stayed 6 nights and only wish I had a few more days to enjoy. All staff were so friendly and helpful.

We had the luck to celebrate our honeymoon and stay in Anantara hotel for 4 nights. From the moment we arrived, Sam from the reception took us from the taxi and did not leave us until we got everything we needed.

Never in our lives we met such a caring and amazing hospitality, 24/7 until the last minute when we had to run and catch our boat for the next stop.

Would recommend this hotel again and again, great facilities, breakfast is amazing and the team is just lovely.

Once again to mention Sam who treated us the best.

I would give a 4 on location because it is a little far from Central samui Mall, about 20 to 30 mins walk and about 15 mins drive from Fishermans Village where there is a night market, on mondays, wednesdays and fridays. Otherwise, it has excellent rooms and service and a good breakfast. There is also a private beach for swimming and canoeing. There is only a pharmacy close by and no 7 eleven close by.

This hotel was by far the best throughout our 18 day trip to Thailand. We travelled to Koh Samui toward the end of our trip for a more relaxing end, not knowing what my partner had planned for us. He actually proposed on our first night staying here, he had booked us a beautiful beach side private tent at the hotel and popped the question. The service received from the staff was just outstanding, Suzy, who initially checked us in, did a wonderful job and was just so friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. We are so grateful for how well we were treated by all staff, and all our needs were catered to. We had a beautiful room with a private pool which we thoroughly enjoyed, and loved how comfy our bed was! The food was lovely, most nights we would order from room service which came very promptly.

We will definitely be coming back in the future and absolutely loved this hotel! We will recommend this to everyone we know!

Not worth the price you pay. They are priced as a luxury resort but they are at most upper upscale.

Worst service, worst personnel, literally stole money for rumpled bushes with the police assistance. Never come to that place again. Furthermore the worst massage you could ever experience in Samui (got tons of cold oil under the air conditioner)

Incredibly serene, artistically beautiful, picturesque & soothing, all these attribute to the very warm service team, the usher team is so courteous and every time they greet you and escort you so pleasantly that it surprises you every damn time, so we checked in the night and our check in was very pleasant and quick, the room we took was the plunge villa which was astonishingly so good and beautiful, very cozy woody interiors with the small jacuzzi pool was so relaxing, wish it was temperature controlled, the food is excellent, their breakfast spread is brilliant, I would love to go back soon. Thanks for the beautiful stay team Anantara.

This was my first time in Thailand and Koh Samui and since I didn’t know what to expect I chose familiarity and western standards. The resort delivers in both.
Good location, the central touristy area is a quick cab ride away or 20 min walk.
Beach was great, very swimmable, comfortable chases, good attentive service.
The service in the entire hotel was impeccable. We were able to check in early and although the late checkout was not available they made us feel very comfortable waiting for the pre-arranged transport to the airport.
The rooms were lovely, we had one with a pool which was nice and cold after a hot day out.
Breakfast was great and plentiful.
The restaurant for lunch wasn’t anything to rave about but whatever, it is a hotel restaurant that was convenient but definitely try to eat out.
The biggest disappointment was the high end restaurant open for dinner only. Pre-fix menu, with a vegetarian or regular option. I had the vegetarian, my husband the other option so we tried everything. Absolutely not worth either the food or the whole experience. The food was meh, a lot of trying with not such great result. The restaurant is above the main ground, trying to create an experience of a tree-top setting. The problem: there is no view so it is kinda pointless that it is all that high.
Anyway, we ate. It was fine:). It did not took away from the wonderful stay we had at the resort

The service at Anantara Lawana is top-notch. There was a maintenance issue in my bathroom and I used the Anantara app to request service and I swear someone was at my door within 3 minutes to fix it. The grounds are heavenly and I enjoyed the leisurely stroll from the beach or restaurant to my room, looking at the flowers and watching the birds (if the resort manager reads this review, please convey my appreciation to the groundskeeping staff; they do a fantastic job).

The restaurants and bar are wonderful. The servers were attentive and made sure I enjoyed myself. They were able to squeeze me in to an early dinner at the Tree Tops restaurant without a reservation (but I recommend making a reservation in advance of your arrival). I think my favorite spot was the Singing Bird Lounge; gorgeous view, great cocktails, and, of course, birds.

I was disappointed not to get a lower room with a plunge pool. But the upper room had a nice balcony. The room and bathroom are nice, but the lighting was poor, especially in the bathroom. They provide ample toiletries, including a toothbrush and toothpaste. I wish hotels would provide disposal razors. (Suggestion: Include on your website a list of the toiletries provided so soon-to-arrive guests know what they don't need to bring with them.)

The spa is, pardon my repetitiveness, heavenly. I arrived early and my room wasn't ready. I was able to get a spa treatment, which was perfect. I went back two more times during my stay and enjoyed every treatment.

As a solo traveler I especially appreciated they way every single staff member made me feel special and took care to make sure I enjoyed my stay. The staff is well trained and it shows. It made me want to visit other Anantara hotels.

It has like the best spa I ever been to, the staff are amazingly friendly and can assist u at any point, like for eg I accidently cut my self in the sea, and they help as much as they could, and now I'm good
The hotel by it self s fantastic

Fully immersed in the rocks front seaside and trees! So nice! And unsual.
Cocktail bar is managed by a young bartender (Myo) and his cocktails are amazing.
Lovely the restaurant too in different private area all with a seaview

Excellent stay with pixel perfect service. Especially Kai at the beach helped us a lot making sure our time will be perfect. He did not leave one wish unfulfilled and constantly helped us to get a really good service. Much more than what we expected, but not too much. Just the perfect mix. We bought a day pass at the beach bar to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was an amazing day. The view is marvellous, the food and the service were excellent. It's absolutely a 5* star environment, and the staff was just perfect, friendly and always be there when we needed them.
