To enter it's 100 bhat now, and the guy at the entry was so rude about it that I just left.

If you expect it to be nice and fun like the way it used to be, please go to any of the other nice sunset spots.

Really a huge shame what these dodgy characters who own the place have done to it.

Extra seedy attempt at tourist trap. Other places have more to offer, for less money.

A scam of a place. The worst on the entire island, the cocktails are a scam and the waiters look like crazy gangsters. In addition, to enter they make you pay 100 baht, and since you have already climbed the entire mountain on foot you pay it.a scam, a total scam.

Only good thing about it is the view. Overpriced, terrible music, staff are all dodgy characters

It’s a cool place for watching sunset and enjoying the drink with the view:) however, we we there only for one drink and didn’t stay very long so the entrance fee 100BHT surprised us. But we liked it anyway.

It used to be a great place, but it has been destroyed by a money grabbing and unethical management that doesn’t care about anything but money and intimidation. The vibe is terrible and the food and drinks are bad quality and overpriced. They even charge an entry fee now.

You should definitely come here. Entrance fee is 100 baht. The sunset and DJ performances are beautiful. 2 floored. The engine goes up to the entrance. You can drink beer for around 120 baht. The food is not very good, but it's okay. You can go upstairs for more fun.

View is beautiful.
However, customer service is hard to find. You will be met at the entrance to pay 100bath entrance fee for the first floor (at first you don't even see that there is a 2nd floor). It turns out that if you go to the 2nd floor, the entrance is free.
General menu prices are higher than usual.
We waited 1 hour for our food. Food is not hot. You would expect the Thai dishes to be the best when you are in Thailand but alas. There are even spelling mistakes in the map, but that's about it.
If you want to order you will be barked at by the staff and you will be sent to the bar.
Money Exchange is not possible, only if you buy something (while you have already made a whole bill), so you have to order an extra water, for example.
Music is really way too loud, like you're in a club. Setting is not appropriate at all. Water of the pool is lukewarm, lots of chlorine, not completely clean.

It is that we still had to wait for our food and had already paid in advance otherwise we would have left immediately.

In short: hyped revenue model and not worth it.

Einen Besuch wert, allein die Fahrt da hoch ist schon etwas anspruchsvoll. Preise jedoch überteuert, auch wenn die Drinks und Joints gut sind. Man zahlt halt für die Aussicht und die ist top, vor allem bei Sonnenuntergang.

Amazing place I experienced back in 2012 and told many people about and bought many people too. We love travelling to Koh Phangang and we’ve been there 4 times Over 8 years and the last time was dec 2018/19 for Christmas/NY. It’s an amazing Bar, come about 3: 30 in the afternoon grab a seat and a few drinks and some food with friends and watch the sun go down with an amazing chilled atmosphere. Just an awesome place to build memories with. We came here a couple of days before we did the Fullmoon Party for New Years 2018/19 my 3rd party. I’m a Phanganist, I’m going to retire there. Shout out to Amanda and Lek who own The Fisherman’s Restaurant best restaurant on Koh Phangang and all of Thailand for that matter.

I love the full moon party over there so I will always come to that bar for the sunset and chill! Drinks Are amazing! Sunset is beautiful! And you can easily spend there a half day at least!

This would be 5 star if they did not use plastic cups and straws for every drink. Very bad for the environment. Great services, drinks, views and atmosphere. Just need to switch to glasses and lose the straws.

When you like to smoke expensive small cigarettes with mostly tobacco in it this is your place!

Amsterdam Bar was a lovely location for the sunset. It got quite busy at this time but the views were not disturbed, great vibe and music for the occasion.

The best bar I've ever been to. Got there early to get a spot and a shake, veryy strong shakes that were amazing. Live DJ showed up around 4/5pm playing beach house and mixing it up. Will make a point to go back!

Top attraction in all island. Best place to watch the sunset with excellent food and music. Ask for the shake it’s delicious.

Amazing place, just love the place. Must visit, if you want to have a great time. Be there before the sunset, they have an amazing view.

This place is a must visit if you're in Koh phangnan. The view is breath taking, preferably go around 2pm till the sun sets cause you might not get a nice place to sit and enjoy the view. The view is really amazing.
