Dear owners of Alvaro's, I am in trying to get in touch with you. I completed my certification with your shop, but you have not uploaded my information into the PADI system. I misplaced my hard copy certification, so this means I cannot dive. Please let me know how I can get in touch with you.

I had a great week with Alvaro! It was my first experience and they made me feel prepared and comfortable. I ended up staying a few more days after getting certified to do some more dives. It's on a quiet cove with only a few restaurants, bars, and bungalows - I never had to leave! It was a great experience and I'll be back after quarantine.

Best diving school I have been. Very chill, very very professional, they take their time for you to learn, even if you need personal advises and they take you to great diving spots to have a lot of fun and sea nice fish.

If you're not diving, you can relax in some hammocks on the upper deck or go snorkeling.
They provide you with coffee/thee and some small snacks (cookies and watermelon.

Getting there can be a chalange if you don't know the route, but that way there beach and bar is very private and relax.
Park your motorbike close to new heaven hostel and walk along the beach to the right up to a concrete jetty.walk on the jetty, through a bar / restaurant and there you will find them.

My husband and I spent four days with Alvaro Diving getting our Open Water PADI certificates. My husband had done a few taster dives before, but I was a total novice. Everyone at Alvaro made us both feel very welcome and at ease at all times. They were very knowledgeable and experienced and the whole experience was incredibly enjoyable. I can't wait to go diving again!

Best diving school in koh tao. Went their for diving- came back with friends. Unbelievable familiar atmosphere, huge diving experience, best dive instructures. Did my Scuba refresh their and felt comfortable from the first minute.the followed Fun dives were great and especially Marjo was the best diving teacher I ever had. Also the DSD for my girlfriend was amazing. Thank you guys for the time under water and above.it was a pleasure. I will come back for sure.

We had a great time at Alvaro diving, where I did 2 fun dives and my girlfriend did the open water course. My dives felt really private as it was just me, my divemaster Miguel and another divemaster who joined for fun.

According to my girlfriend, Lio was a wonderful instructor for the open water course because he was very patient and took enough time to explain and show everything. It was a small group of 3 students, which made it really personal as well.

Also, the staff is easy with cancellations if you want to go to a specific dive site they won't go to that day or if you have medical issues. All staff members are very nice, helpful, knowledgeable and relaxed. All in all, it soon felt like spending time with friends. Highly recommendable!

We had a few fun dives with them around Koh Tao. It was awesome, all Dive Instructors are really friendly and professional. We really love the small bay where they are located and their boat with lots of space. Even if you are not diving have a look for the bay and the pirate bar!

I did my OWD in this diving school.it was an amazing expericence. Isa is a great instructor! We will definitely come back for further dives!

Instructors helped to ease the stress my wife was feeling and spent time to make sure we were both comfortable during our discovery dive. Leo and Salvo along with the guys behind the desk were all very pleasant. Would dive with them again.

This is for sure a hidden gem of Koh Tao! My bf and I did our OW water here with Isabella who’s, hands down, the best instructor we could’ve ever wished for! The whole crew is fun and welcoming and we felt 100% safe in their care. Hope to come back to get our advance certification next year! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a more individual diving experience!

Took my PADI 18m open water corse at alvore evreything was 100% my favorit place in all off thailand

After looking around a couple dive schools in the rest of the island I came to Alvaro and instantly knew this was where i was going. The bay is the best that I visited during my time in south east Thailand. The staff and instructors are the real deal. The experience is personal and unique to many of the big diving schools on the island. The pirate bar and Miguel's BBQ are top draw!

Did a few "fun dives" here, as they call it, really enjoyed it.
They're a cool bunch, very good vibes, and the only dive shop with their boat at Chalok Bay, which is a big advantage, just hop on the dinghy, from there to the main boat and off to sea. Super quick, no hassle.
Oh and pretty cheap, too.

Great club to do fun/try dives. The stuff is very friendly and the atmosphere in the centre and on the boats is pleasant. Very much recommended.

I did my Open Water Diver with them - great instructors, super friendly staff, well organized and fun! Not as huge as the big diving schools which makes it more individual. I highly recommend them!

I completed my PADI Advanced Cert here with Ally and it was great! Jean, Sosha and the whole crew were top notch. The pirate bar has a very cool atmosphere with great music and lighting. Big thumbs up!

Avoid the masses and chaos and go diving with the coolest pirate-themed crew in Thailand! Couldn't ask for a better experience in the beloved private bay and on the Seacutter boat. Observing other areas, boats, and dive companies, I'm incredibly happy to have landed with Alvaro. 555
