21 Very cool park. Prices a bit expensive but definitely worth a visit. The waterfall is very strenuous to reach, but once you're at the top, it's worth it.
Riding elephants is also very interesting.
PLEASE DONT GO THERE! If you do, you are supporting animal abuse. The animals are chained up and drugged for you to take pictures.if you want to see elephants, go to a sanctuary instead.
Unfortunately, there was no more elephant riding and neither was the cats it was not signposted or otherwise informed that it had been converted into a large zoo!
DO NOT GO HERE. It is a tourist trap with the elephants chained and beaten. Obvious animal abuse, incredibly saddening to see. Please do not visit here and fund the torture and suffering of elephants. There is a more ethical sanctuary nearby if you still want to see them.
I do not recommend visiting this park, animals are tortured here for the sake of money. If you want to interact with elephants, it is much better to go to one of the several places on the island where elephants can be fed, petted and bathed, but where they are not hooked or their ears are torn off, but are allowed to live in a natural environment.
Horrible place! Elephants are tied to their feet with chains, you must be an idiot if you're having fun here by seeing this.
Do not go here. It is cruel and animal abuse no matter what they advertise. The elephants are chained up and beaten. Yes they are ‘ free’ to roam with you on your back because of the heavy abuse they have received and will receive. Elephants are not for riding. Research a true elephant sanctuary if you want to see elephants such as elephant nature park in Chaing Mai. Don’t give these people your money and encourage them further. It’s 2023! Disgusting humans and behaviour.
Please never go here, it is such a shame for those people who torture elephants there. Go to Namuang waterfall No. 2 instead (different path but not far) and avoid this place
Drugged tigers and elephants in tiny pens. This place made me sick and sad. Please don't spend your money here, go see other falls.
The animals here are treated terribly please spend your money elsewhere: (check out Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai if you want a reputable experience with animals that have been rescued from places like this
Please don't support this place if you think animal cruelty is wrong. It was heartbreaking to see the shape the elephants and tigers were in. And the falls weren't life changing (but an insane trek) that you pay on top of your initial entry. This place sucks and the energy is just sad: (check out the nearby waterfall or the sanctuary instead.
We were so disgusted by what we've seen-we left immidiately! All those poor animals being hit, nudged by metal rods, dragged back on stage. Seriously-think twice before paying money to support animal abuse! We weren't even aware that this place was one of the stops of our tour! People being brought there by buses, from everywhere, all enjoying the misery of those tricks performing, chained living beings.disgusting and so so sad.
A beautiful place, but so sad that it is virtually deserted. The upper part of this waterfall area is usually also a waterpark with slides that come down into natural pools, but it is closed and looks like a ghost town.
Get a new job. Stop using elephants to earn money you poor poor people. The world now knows this is cruel. Don’t take it out on the elephants that you can’t make money.get a new job. Don’t visit this place to take a photo your followers don’t think you’re cool!
Come see elephants! Tracking little bit and chill in the waterfall. Been here for more than 5 times now. Love it lots! ^^
Awful place, do not go.one star for the waterfall, which is nice and had a good swimming point.
We did not pay to see the animals, but saw some very unhappy elephants and a baby elephant chained up and rocking.
LOTS OF ANIMALS BEING BADLY TREATED AND CARED FOR.
Please do not ride elephants - they are horribly treated. Do your research and instead see them at their natural surroundings at the Elephant Sanctuary
The poor animals are starving and injured. These people have the audacity to request donations to feed the baby elephants that are clearly malnourished. Deplorable conditions and people seem not to know or simply don't care. Inhumane and cruel. It is appaling how people choose to turn a blind eye, take lots of pictures and just go on as if everything is just fine. Shamed that I spent my money contributing to this crime.
Great place to see how animals and people work together in Thailand. All the animals are treated well.
Awful, animals being chained up and drugged for pictures. Do not go here - go to elephant nature park in chaing mai.
