พรุป่าโหลง / Mangrove Forest

Nice walk in the mangrove on a concrete walkway. The place is being restored. Allows you to see the diversity of the fauna and flora of the mangroves in the south of the island.

We stumbled upon this park by chance, it is still under construction, but in any case it is interesting

The place is very atmospheric, but in a very bad condition. Half of the paths are destroyed and there is a lot of garbage in front of the entrance. There is nothing to do now.

Very nice place. Outskirts of an island. Good place to escape from the rest of people. Clean and green. Although a park is not finished still it much worth of seeing it. The only mangroove forest on Koh Samui.

While the forest exists the entrance, shop, toilet, picnic area and walkways have long since been abandoned. Its sad really.

You can still walk on the raised concrete pathway but you have to turn back on yourself as towards the end a large section has collapsed.

Still worth it to feel some nature and listen to the silence, birds squarking and if lucky, see the tiny water crabs scurrying about.

It was an enjoyable break from island touring.

เสียดายงบประมาณจากภาษีประชาชนเอามาทำ แต่ปัจจุบันไม่ได้รับการเหลียวแล ป้ายบอกทางต่างๆไม่มี ปล่อยให้นักท่องเที่ยวเสียเวลาวนหากลับไปมา หมดเวลาเป็นชั่วโมง จนไม่สามารถไปท่องเที่ยวที่อื่นได้ทัน ไปถึงขยะเต็มลาน ห้องน้ำพังมีแต่คราบดำเชื้อโรค เดินๆไป ทางขาดเฉยเลย ไม่ทราบว่าสภาพเป็นแบบนี้นานหรือยัง ถ้าผู้เกี่ยวข้องมาเห็นข้อความนี้ฝากดูแลด้วย มันเสื่อม! ครับ ทำประชาชนเสียทรัพยากรเวลามาก สูญเสียโอกาสอื่นๆอีกกับเวลาที่มีจำกัด และสูญเสียทรัพยากรโลกน้ำมันที่หมดไปอย่างไร้ค่า เพียงแต่ป้ายไม่มีบอก มันยากหรือไง? ไม่เข้าใจ หลายสถานที่เลย คิดสิ คิด!

Don't waste your time. The place doesn't exist anymore. Been there, couldn't find the entrance, ended up asking some local and got informed that no one had been in there for a long while and the wooden walkway had collapsed.

Excitement rises as we enter the mangrove forest of Taling Ngam.everything looks abandoned and kind of spooky.just the way we like it! Through the mangroves is an walkway made by concrete with it's cracks here and there. It's looks like it's been abandoned for ages and the path is an dead end coming up to an unfinished part where you have to turn back. Maybe not the most thrilling tourist attraction if you could call it a tourist attraction, but I am always upp for a spot that brings curiosity to my mind and let me snap a few photos so well worth the visit!

Protected royal mangrove. The nature at it best. Huge mangrove trees and very unique flash blue birds.
