#1 Curry Hut Best Indian Restaurant Koh Samui Thailand reviews
37Pretty basic restaurant but if you're after something different than Thai, the Indian food is amazing! Portion sizes were ok, staff not bad but the prices are very cheap!
Brilliant Indian food, as London resident I know good Indian food when I eat it, this place is perfect not pricey at all!
Went here about 3-4 times while visiting koh samui, great food, great people. I'm from London so I know good Indian food
Was very delicious! Intense taste. Haven't eaten this delicious in a long time. You can tell that it's not ready-made, but prepared with effort and passion:) Garlic bread was delicious!
My partner and I visited Curry Hut. It was dead quiet (early season) but reading the reviews we were convinced it would be great! The Thai food menu was soooo cheap, 90 THB per meal. My partner got the prawn massaman curry, which was delish. I went for the lamb korma and a butter naan bread. The korma was so good but the naan was probably the best I’ve had. Fresh, thin, crisp and buttery. The owner spoke with us for quite some time, he is very lovely. Great service. Left them a tip, hopefully business picks up more now post covid times.
Best Indian restaurant in Koh Samui Thailand. Location of the restaurant is perfect. Staff is too cooperative and soft spoken. She always has a beautiful smile on her face while taking the order and during serving the food. Food is too delicious and the quality is exceptional. She gave us 10% discount. And provide us one daal makani complimentary.
If you like Indian food and planning to travel to Koh Samui Thailand, Then this restaurant is for you. Highly recommended.
The best Indian food in Samui. They are really flexible to make a meal as per your choice. May be taste or ingredients, they will help to make as oer the requirements. Open till late night, so good advantage if you want to pick something quickly
Sure 90baht. But you get what u paid for. The curry/panang chicken is cheap quality from frozen fridge. Never go back again.
Operated by Indian family. Rates are reasonable. Test is standard Indian. Located at Centre of Chaweng beach road area. No credit card machine.
No frills, just a couple straightforward menus (one Thai and one Indian). I had butter chicken, jeera rice, and garlic naan. The butter chicken was on par with most butter chicken. It’s a safe dish, never really blows you away but never disappoints. The garlic naan was amazing, especially dipped into the butter chicken sauce. It was perfectly crispy and flaky on the outside and chewy in the middle. The jeera rice was cooked well. I’ll probably go back even though I’m not in the area long.
Good service, mix of Thai or Indian (I had thai,) food very nice and service not too long considering all cooked fresh. Have Ben back twice.
Indian- and Thaifood in the same restaurants. I got a tasty Indian curry with garlic naan and safron rice. Very good. Fair prices.
My friend and i went to this restaurant, looking for a decent place with vegetarian options on a late evening hour.
Service was extremely friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious.
I totally recommend going to this place.
All meals were BHT90 and the servings were generous. You can tell the food has been prepared traditionally and as we sat down more and more people started to come in. I had the pineapple fried rice and it was remarkable. The lamb samosa filling was also the most generous we have ever encountered.
Poppadoms small.no yoghurt & mint sauce (had to mix our own).
Chicken pakoras nice!
No pickle tray?
Amazing food. We had pad Thai, Dal Makhani and garlic nann. Both of us are vegan and have difficulty finding food in Cheweng so it was nice to find this place.
Everyone there are very nice! They don't have a lot of people coming there right now so if you're looking for a place in the area to eat this is the one! Fair price as well.
The food is really good and the owners are very friendly! We came here two times in a row and can highly recommend:)
This is the cheapest halal thai food place we’ve been to in Koh Samui! They have both Indian and Thai cuisine but we only tried the Thai ones. Most of the Thai dishes were 90 baht each. We liked the tom yum & pad thai, but the green curry was on the sweeter side, less to my liking. Overall very good service, well recommended.
Good authentic Indian food, just some issues with the nan being a bit small and crispy, but just order extra.
Very Good service too, but a little money spent on decor and repairing the air con leak would be good
The chicken korma was terrible it tasted like curry sauce you get from a chip shop. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars and not 1 is because the naan bread was good.
