Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa

This is probably our favorite hotel in Thailand. Everything is immaculate, and well designed, and the beach outside is beautiful. The breakfast buffet is better than almost anything else you will find at a reasonable price, the restaurant food is also very good, and the staff are really friendly, helpful, and flexible. From the moment you enter, it feels good - you get a cold drink, the kids get a popsicle or cotton candy, and you get a ride to your room. Just a good feeling all around. Can't wait to go back.

I seriously think that it’s the best hotel chain. I’ve been to couple of them here in Thailand and the US. My favourite one is the one in HuaHin. I visited the one in Huahin many times with my family and everyone has a great time. The spa is FANTASTIC! Although, the Big fish restaurant could have been better with that pricing.

I'll tell you some thing that online travel agents do not want u to know about. When reserving hotels use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ They easily have the best deals on hotels! Way better than using expedia, priceline, hotwire. That's for sure!

Loved it! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The pool was absolutely fun! It was also great that they had an adult pool. It is also located in front of a wide and long beach front. Service and food was also amazing definitely coming back!

Unfortunately we are coming when the COVID-19 is spike badly…so they closing all the facilities both pool and kids club. All the breakfast and food has been served in room. In spite of all the situation, the staffs and everything else is superb. Love the atmosphere, cleanliness and the service mind. Our family will come back here again when everything is open to normal.

This place is amazing! On the weekdays, there are almost no one, which makes you feel like the whole hotel is to yourself! From noon onwards, there is a free ice Lilly stand in the lobby, with 4 different flavors. There are 2 water slides, 1 that is massive and is very fun for little kids, and another one which is fun and fast, better for bigger children. On the big and slow water slide, at the end, it is really shallow, and little kids and babies can reach. Same depth as the end of the faster one. This is good for little kids but not good for adults. For the fast one, adults are not allowed because the depth of the pool is to shallow. There is an adults pool with a nice jacuzzi, and a massive family pool, as well as a very good kids club. There are 3 restaurants, all very good. There is some kind of lazy river that goes around the beautiful island, but with no artificial current. The curtains of the hotel rooms are amazing, meaning at 8: 30 am, it feels like 3: 00 am, very dark. But after you open the curtains, this warm, bright light shines on you and you feel amazing. The breakfast is a big buffet, and you can eat as much as you want! Everything is extremely clean, and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

One ice-cream said it all. It is amazing service mide of staffs. Anyway we go in this hotel. We have been so welcoming. The service is exceptional. This is the best hotel in Thailand. Thank you K. KENG for ice cream.

We have had a Covid hiatus hideaway from Bangkok Covid-19 lockdown. It’s been pleasurable with the services and the food. We would have given 5 stars but a major “bed bug” that left us like 2 Dalmatians on the legs and arms. Told the front on the first week before checking in the second week. The room assigned was good but I guess the bed and bugs have been there since the busy day. Overall is good but ouch! Gotta stop to scratch the itches.

- พนักงาน service mind ดีมาก ดูแลเด็กๆ + เล่น คุยกับเด็กดีมาก เจ้าตัวเล็กชอบมาก
- สระว่ายน้ำถือว่าดีเลย อาจจะเก่าไปนิด แต่ก็ใช้ได้อยู่ แต่ถ้าแค่สระน้ำอย่างเดียวยังมองว่าสู้ Centara Mirage Pattaya ไม่ได้
- อาหารราคาต่อจาน สูงนิดนึง แต่ด้วยขนาดและรสชาติถือว่าไม่แพงเลย

สิ่งที่อยากให้ปรับปรุง
-! อยากให้ย้ายที่สูบบุหรี่ออกมาอีกหน่อย อาจจะไปอยู่ตรงทางลงที่จอดรถหรือว่าทำห้องให้เป็นกิจลักษณะไปเลย เพราะตอนนี้คือ ที่สูบบุหรี่อยู่หน้าประตูที่จอดรถ แล้วคนที่สูบก็คือยืนสูบหน้าประตูนั้นแหละ (ซึ่งเขาก็ไม่ผิดนะเพราะตรงนั้นมันคือที่สูบบุหรี่) แต่คือยังไงถ้าเด็กเดินผ่าน ก็โดนควันอยู่ดี
- ตรงสระเด็กเริ่มที่แผ่นรองหลุดๆนิดหน่อย + ปืนฉีดน้ำที่ให้เด็กๆเล่น ฝืดมาก overall ควรจะมี minor overhaul สักหน่อย แบบไม่ต้องเปลี่ยนแต่เพิ่ม+ซ่อมของเก่า
- ทรายที่ให้เด็กๆเล่นกันน่าจะหาคุณภาพดีกว่านี้หน่อย เหมือนทราบจะมี micro plastic เยอะมาก

Avoid at all cost unless you have kids or enjoy others yelling around.

Absolutely not recommended if traveling solo / couples without children.

If you are a high tier Bonvoy member (ie. Platinum/Titanium) -> Warning: No suite upgrades. Upgrade will be pool side with even more yelling kids around.

My view: staff should always ask solo travelers about kids tolerance and allocate rooms based on it.

Will not repeat.

Overall rating was 4.5 - their hospitality was great. Apart from welcome drink they also provided ice popsicles and cotton candy until 4 pm so that everyone can enjoy small treat. Breakfast line up also great with a lot of varieties with good quality. Breakfasts are served until 11: 00am where as other hotels would closed around 10: 00 am. There are both kids and adults swimming pools and kids club so it’s a great place for family holidays. 0.5 score deducted was that they could do better if they would place alcohol hand sanitizer at every floor in front of the elevators not just only the ground floor for C-19 hygiene precautionary measures.

I have been here 4 times and I love this place. Nice room, nice pool, nice GYM, and GREAT breakfast. Staffs are amazing!

We had a fantastic stay during our trip in December. The Resort was pretty packed which was a very good sign during this rough time with the Covid crisis. The staff and managers were very friendly and helpful.
Room is lovely and very clean.
The food at Big Fish is really good and the manager is outstanding.
Great resort for families as the pool is huge with kid play ground.

Too stiff service, came to relax but don't feel relax at all. Also the room is not that clean, found traces of gecko poo on our chair
