Santhiya Koh Yao Yai Resort & Spa

Love it! Amazing hotel, amazing staff, is just perfect for a chill out vacations! I saw a lot of comments regarding the prices that are high but for me the prices for a 5 star hotel are ok, I don't think that here overpriced. We take the Jason Island tour and it worth it! The massages here are also super good! I ask for a foot massage and last more than 1 hr and they give me a head massage and back massage super relaxing. I will love to stay here again. Only tiny complaint the library have books in german, french, english and chinese books but no spanish.
One more tip if u have a chance go to the chill out in the pier event is super romantic and they play country, reggaton and romantic music.
If youre coming to the hotel from the Phuket request the taxi service, we pay the same with the taxi of the airport than the shuttle of the hotel advantage is that u don't have to deal with people on lines, etc.

This place was incredible. Beautiful view, lovely spa and great food. The rooms as well were unbelievably beautiful with all the wood architecture.

The only thing that I was not too impressed with was the lady your guide that we had when we went to phi phi island. She cared more about herself having a good time, swimming in the ocean and shopping around then taking care of her guest's.

Excellent resort and helpful staff. Kept very clean. Only downsides are the sales push from Spa as soon as you arrive and high cost of activities/food compared with options just outside resort.

Would advise anyone who visits to check with these options before booking inside resort. For example we hired a scooter outside resort for 200 baht but in resort it is 600!

There is a 7-11 not too far from resort 20-25 mins cycle or 5 mins via scooter.

+STOP THINKING and STAY HERE+
We were in Asia for two weeks and this was the most amazing part of our entire trip. We wanted a place where we could seriously relax and just reflect on how amazing life is by being half way around the world, watching the sunset in an infinity pool overlooking the beauty that is Phuket.

My recommendation is to do this stay towards the end of your trip because Asia can get pretty hectic with tours, sights, and hikes. It was a treat to be able to just sit back and relax on an island that had such amazing amenities. To really take advantage of this resort, you need to shift your mindset to busy traveler to relaxing traveler, if you can do that, you will love this resort.

We stayed in a deluxe oceanview room and couldn't believe how beautiful it was. If you were fortunate enough to stay in a villa, that would probably be surreal.

The only thing that you should be aware is that check in takes a long time, I found that this was a common problem in Thailand. The check in process always seemed to take a long time. The other thing, food on the resort is not as cheap as the mainland. Just want you to be aware, the food overall wasn't bad, but it wasn't as cheap as we were used to being in Bangkok/phuket earlier.

Unglaublich! Ich weiß gar nicht wo man anfangen soll. Dieses Hotel überzeugt überall, alles ist bis ins kleinste Detail stimmig. Man muss es erlebt haben.
Einfach nur überwältigend.
Frühstück Klasse.
Pools überragend ob privat oder öffentlich.
Essenspreise gehoben aber im Ordnung.
Zimmer/Villa atemberaubend
Service spitze.
Strand sehr schön. Und viele weitere goodies vom Hotel.

Views and ambiance were about as good as it gets. Service and food were good enough, it's hard to complain about anything when in paradise. Nothing beats the sunset at the infinity pool. We were there every night for happy hour drinks and watching the sun go down over the infinity pool.

This place is incredible. Beautiful views and property. If you stay here, rent a moped and go explore the rest of the island. Our stay would have been perfect if a staff member hadn't stolen $300 from my friends luggage on the day we left. Beware of the thieves here!

An sich sieht das Resort schön gemacht. Aber WIEVIEL Bäume dafür sterben mussten? !: (
Bei der Ankunft wird dir die Massage angedreht 2 für 1, die in Deutschland 10 mal billiger ist für 2!
Das Personal ist sehr unfreundlich!
Dreckige Bettwäsche, Klamotten Reinigung wird nach Stückzahl abgerechnet, d.h 20 St.verschiedene Wäsche 100 Euro! Wo gibt's denn so was? Alles in allem, war kein schöner Aufenthalt, viel zu überteuert!

Views like nothing I’ve seen before, very friendly staff and having free kayaking and sup boarding was a nice bonus

We've staid in Santhiya two years in a row and had the best time. The resort is luxurious and absolutely gorgeous, it really gives a feeling of staying in a jungle forest with an amazing view to the sea. The room is great, there is a very nice pool with an amazing view on the higher part of the hotel, the restaurants are good too and the beach near the hotel is sweet!
