24 At first glance a really nice quaint looking place. But the grounds were scruffy and dirty. Newer huts not too bad but stay away from older huts. Floors rotten, no windows (just very bad fitting shutters). No aircon, just a slow fan and the mosquito nets had lots of holes in and needed replacing. Suspected bed bugs.
Also a large bird of prey kept in a cage in poor conditions.
Swimming pool was good and refreshing and the barman was a cool ace guy. Helpful reception staff.
Zen garden. Very quite place in "jungle", very nice and helpful staff, clean. Bar accesible right from the outside swimming pool.
Friendly staff and beautiful place, hidden from all the noise of the island. Quiet atmosphere and cool pool to share a beer or two.
These rooms are the shittiest we've ever seen and as tired as we were we ran away as fast a possible looking for a different hotel. Dark, small, shabby, leaky, loud, full of bugs. Very friendly staff though, and we got a complete refund. Definitively not recommended as there are much better accommodations for similar prices nearby.
