Tropical Garden Bungalow

The smell in the room was unbearable, in addition to dirty sheets and stains. I want to warn those who can book here. Run away!

Stay away, don’t come here.
Everything is dirty, bed bug, cockroach.
Everything is old and not maintained.
You can’t sleep because you will hear the club music.
Then we used the AC we had in our room, they charge us 10 dollars per day, they give you no information about it, at the check in or in the room.
Because they were stealing us with threat. We refused then they called the police and the police work with them. They steal together!
They are SCAMMER and no educate, if you don’t want be stolen or sick because the dirty. AVOID this place please

Above all, avoid! It is very dangerous, the infrastructure is damaged. The rooms smell very bad and the person doesn't like tourists.

Terrible stay away - don't come here

- ceiling has plant roots growing through it (office ceiling tiles)
- at night the rooms are boiling hot, literally warmer than outside
- splinters from the wooden plank floors
- bathroom floods when showering
- no privacy as curtains are see through
- fan is just loud and makes no difference
- staff barely have money for change

The location was great and some rooms do have aircon. The bad part was, weird brown stuff on the sheets, the room smelled really bad and the worst part was the mattresses. It was so bad I was pretty much sleeping on springs. I have never had a worse experience when it comes to mattresses. I would come back only if they fix their mattresses

The view is the biggest thing for me. It's absolutely stunning. The room is also on the pretty side. There is an AC that works well. No fridge (at least not in our room).
The bathroom is very spacey and the shower has hot water. You als get one roll of toilet paper in the beginning.
We didn't see many bugs. We did have 2 small geckos in our room but they didn't disturb us.
The room is clean and you can ask for the housekeeping to clean it up at any time.some things are also kind of broken or Pretty old but not to the extend that it would be disturbing.
It's not really all too quiet at night but it is pretty bearable.
The way up to the rooms is very exhausting since it's up the hill by a good bit. And most definitely not suit for wheelchairs.
There is a swimming pool you can use Freely from 10 to 21 o'clock. The pool is nice and looks exactly like in the pictures. There is also a pool bar which isn't even too pricey.

Couldn't fault the place, lovely experience. Wish we'd booked there longer. Didnt have chance for a dip in the pool, but went over to check it out. Fab view, lots of wildlife.

Went to the rooms was kicked in the face of the mold smell, turned around and walked away from it. Would recommend that you do the same.

The staff was very nice. The place was quite nice, the room was clean, there are some cats going around that are very friendly. There are some things that could be improved, however for the price is a good place to stay and I would stay again.

Super Anlage, hatten unseren Bungalow an der Poolbar, somit auch am Pool, was für unseren Junior TOP war und für uns natürlich auch)
Anlage liegt etwas abseits, somit bekommt man die Parties nicht mit) und auch auch schön unter den Bäumen, man fühlt sich als wäre man mitten im Busch)
Frühstück war inklusive, alle super nett und hilfsbereit.
Jederzeit wieder)

Nice place with nice hosts. Situation is near to the main streets. Buildings and rooms a little bit too old, but comfortable

It for sure had potential, but I think they just opened it up again before we arrived. Shower was nice, bug net for the bed too, but it smelt strange if we went in during the day. Also the noise travels so it sounded like our neighbors were right outside our door

Rooms were very deceiving from the images hosted online, but the surroundings were beautiful, and they have a great pool with a bar.

Sorry but bed bugs and dubious housekeeping, we had to find another hotel after finding this, not easy in high season.however the room was refunded without question, as if they were not surprised that we found bed bugs.

Great place. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet space. Decent bathroom with hot shower! Carried our bags to and from ferry! But lots of bugs, which is inevitable!

Beautiful atmosphere and very relaxing! At first I thought the fan bungalow would be too hot but it gets chill at night. The staff are very nice and friendly. The bar by the pool is cool and the bartender plays some good tracks. It is normal on an island to have mosquitoes so that's not really something to complain about. If you're looking for chique room styles than this is not the place for you:) very decent rooms though.

This place has seen better days. The staff are helpful, that much is true, but it doesn't offer much else sadly.

Great quite place with everything you need. They accept credit card also so for some travelers I know this will be helpful. Nice rooms but beds not the best in my room at least. Would love to stay a month here.

Had an ok stay here. First room air con was rubbish. Bathroom had ants all over walls. Asked to swop at reception, no trouble swoped us and the second room was much better. Pool is good and pool bar. It is up the hill abit from the beach but worth it for the price.

Stayed in both the bungalow with no a.c, and a room with a.c, even though we were only stating 2 nights when the ac room opened up they allowed us to move into it even though it was 6pm already. Hard bed, but vey affordable.
