The Mango Garden reviews
50Best place for breakfast on the Island. Consistent menu. The waffles with mangos are to die for. The mango passionfruit shake was killer.
Loved this place we tried the mango milkshake and mango sticky rice with ice cream, the server obliged to my request for adding more mangoes
Didn’t eat anything mango related unfortunately but their breakfast omelette was delicious! And the house toast too, super thick. Loved the ice coffee, so refreshing and sweet, perfect way to start your beautiful phi phi morning
If you like mango, this is the place to be. The sticky mango rice is amazing and served with a blue dyed rice in addition to the white rice. TOP TIP: ask them to remove the skin when preparing, you get more mango and it makes life a lot easier. Would recommend.
If you visit Phi Phi Islands, do visit Mango Garden for breakfast. This place will sure make your tummy happy. And my Indian tastebuds were very happy to find this place.can't get a better breakfast in Phi Phi.
The presentation and the food was very good, though I would have love instead of 2 coconut scoops (they weren’t that good) and 1 mango (very tasty), 2 mangos scoops and only 1 coconut. One star less because of the second floor, not presentable.
Lovely mango based food and amazing service. Slightly expensive but we had a good time so I can't complain. You should visit this place if you're in the mood for some authentic mango sticky rice.
This place is good to take some deserts and of course coffee, it's maybe a little expensive if you compare the price of Thailand.
Delicious! I live in Japan, so I’m used to expensive cafe prices. But the waffles here are much tastier than anything I’ve had in Japan. The mango toast has great flavor combinations too; buttery, creamy, sweet, and tart.
I recommend the coconut charcoal drink! Charcoal benefits with only the coconut flavor.
I almost never leave reviews with text in them but I had to because my experience was so different to everyone else posting. It's 185 Baht for mango sticky rice. At this premium I was expecting it to be at the least pretty good. Arrived at the end of the day. First of all the staff looked overworked and tired. I don't blame them for this as it must be a hard job but it really showed in my interactions with them. As soon as I ordered my food, the rice went into the microwave and I instantly felt the tinge of regret from coming here. Then after sitting down and tasting it, my stomach started to feel really bad. Additionally, the coconut milk had a hair in it as it was given to me. Not even the WiFi worked which is typically one of the main advantages of going to a place like this. Yeah. My advice is if you want to try sticky rice just postpone your cravings and don't bother with this place, just pay half the price somewhere else in a street food market or restaurant for something which is much better. The mango itself was fine and the only thing I could stomach to finish.
Too sweet imo. 95% of the menu has a ton of sugar. The non sweet options are plain. Also its quite overpriced.
It’s ok but very touristy. There are some much better places to get sticky mango rice on the island. It’s very expensive compare to the other places.
It’s well designed for tourists.
Nice little place close to the pier, handy for a pre-ferry bite, particularly breakfast. Had the tuna toast, nice portion, needed more mayo. Coffee is good but you pay for it. I’d stop again mainly for convenience.
Opens at 7am, everywhere else shut at 7: 45 when I walked into town. Great waffles with banana, syrup and cream. Sugar craving sorted. Good coffee.
Speaking only to the Mango Sticky Rice. For Koh Samui it’s actually good, but not great in comparison to the other mango sticky rice you can get in Thailand.
Got two smoothies which tasted good but quite expensive especially comparing to the other places nearby. Though definitely more westernized so it makes sense for the increased prices
Mango sticky rice was just a perfect breakfast. Very delicious, well served and ideally sweet. The place have a good atmosphere and very kind people. Totally recommend:)
The banana waffle is very delicious, paired with the pineapple smoothie is absolutely the best! Probably the best dessert place on the island. Would definitely recommend! 10/10
I celebrated my birthday here!
Together with the staff, my friends surprised me with a mango sticky rice birthday cake (p.s i live for mango sticky rice!)
Good coffee and good food-a perfect start in the day
Many thanks to the team of Mango Garden!
It was really good and also the birthday plate was excellent. Thank you very much, the Mango sticky rice was soo yummy and also the Mango Coco shake was delicious. I recommend to try it!
