The Mango Garden reviews
50The mango coconut black sticky rice drink was exceptional. The coconut shake was good, but I couldn't taste much, if any coconut milk which made it feel less indulgent. The reason for 3 stars is because of the prices. 130 for the former drink, 110 for the latter which was just coconut water, a bit of coconut, ice and sugar syrup. We didn't get any food because it was so expensive, though it looked nice from the menu.
This was a very enjoyable meal out. The mango drink was absolutely fantastic.
The staff were all really friendly and it clean and neat inside.
We ordered chicken and scrambled egg and mango and salmon on sourdough toast with creme cheese. Remember that when they say roast they actually just mean bread the fresh mango was super juicy. I would recommend anything with mango. As the name suggests if certainly there speciality.
We made a very good decision to stop by for sticky rice and a coffee after we had lunch in a different place.
The Mango Garden is clean and cozy, and the service is excellent. Everyone smiled and spoke good English.
There are plenty of options for coffee and matcha drinks, and actually, this was probably the best coffee we had on Phi Phi Island.
Moreover, the mango sticky rice was exquisite. We tried both the standard plate as well as the one with ice cream, and we loved it. Looking at the other tables, we realized that all the other brunch dishes seemed to be tasty. Don't miss a pit stop at this place while on the island.
Delicious breakfast Mango sticky rice is very good. A lot, cute price Good service staff Cute place The corner in the shop feels very good.
I went in to try the sticky rice with mango and also ordered some avocado toast. The toast is nothing more, but the rice is incredible. Plus the staff is lovely. I would definitely return!
Amazing place to eat in. We went there twice and always had a awesome tasty food! The staff is very friendly and speaks English well. They have been so nice to us, even when we came in with all our bags since we were so hungry and exhausted from travelling. It's must have when you come to Phi Phi.
Overall Experience
Food - 5/5
Service - 5/5
Atmosphere - 5/5
1. Mango sticky rice (195 baht) - highly recommended, mango is fresh, sticky rice is sweet, looks appetising
2. Service - friendly staff
3. Serving time - 15 mins
4. Affordability - a bit pricy
5. Atmosphere - clean and air-conditioned
Realllllly good food, mango, dessert, and drinks. Everything about this place is inventive and whimsical and their menu is super original. Will eat here again during my stay.
Perfect. Just perfect! Their Mango Sticky Rice is soooo good we loved it! And the staff are super friendly and helpful
5 stars all around. The staff was by far the friendliest I’ve met in Thailand and the menu is pretty impressive. Waffles, smoothie bowls, different kinds of toasts plus rice bowls. If you have severe nut allergies like I do this is a great place as well as most of the menu is nut free. I went back the next day for the waffles and they were exceptional. All of the ingredients here are very fresh in comparison to other restaurants. Again, 5 stars!
It's a really cute café and the staff is super friendly and speaks really good english BUT the prices, especially for the drinks are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! We were looking for a café with oatmilk and payed over 10€ for one coconut matcha and one dirty matcha - that's like 2€ more than we would have paid in Germany. The drinks were fine but not worth the money (i think even a Cappuccino was 115 baht+30 for plant milk, it's organic but still)
The place is fantastic in Phi Phi. We tried Mango Pudding - the best food I've eaten in Thailand! - and Mango French Toast also brilliant! Don't miss it while you are there you will love it
Came on my last day but wish i tried it the first. Drinks are amazing, food is very tasty (but quite different, in a good way), and the staff are kind. Would have gotten a mango smoothie everyday if I had known they make them this good here. Definitely worth a try. Oh yeah and the A/C is on point.
Amazing experience. Must visit place in Phi Phi. Tried the breakfast and the pudding. Was really good.
Such a cute and high quality little cafe! The mango sticky rice and different drinks are sooooo tasty! I really liked their ice Thai tea and their iced matcha tea. Also, it’s really clean inside, the service is amazing and the AC is perfect. Totally recommended!
SERIOUSLY OVERRATED CAFE. As the past reviews were great, i visited this cafe for late breakfast, and ordered an omelette, with intention of ordering a famous mango sticky rice afterwards for a dessert. I found a human hair inside the omelette and also a 'plasticy' blue small object in a side salad that is served along. I have also ordered coffee Latte and my brother had Cappuccino - there was no difference between any of them and the coffee was just fine. Obviously I didn't proceed with ordering the mango sticky rice anymore, although it would have less likely chances of contaminants inside.
Sadly this cafe is situated in the main shopping district on the small available area on Phi Phi Don Island, off the coast of Phuket.
I say "sadly" because we only discovered it on our last days holiday, and rued the fact we hadnt found it earlier!
Obviously the focus is local Mangoes, yet they offer a variety of foods for breakfast and lunch that rival any eatery there.
Our breakfast was delicious, BUT.when we tasted the Mango and Coconut Cream Smoothie we were in love! ️️
Utterly stunning!
My waist would never allow me to have one every day but Ive come back to Australia dreaming about it. Yum!
They could easily open in Australia and quickly get a horde of followers.
Great food and tasty mango based dishes. The shop has a very atypical design compared to the other ones on Phi Phi (modern style which differs from the other old Thai style shops) but I enjoyed it. A bit expensive though.
Awesome Breakfast / Brunch place on Phi Phi Islands. They have vibrant interiors, great service and limited yet interesting menu. Yummy Mango specialities available, must try!
We only tried their smoothie but that was very good. It had big pieces of mangos on the top and tasted very fresh. They got good prices. It is also air conditioned which is pretty rare around here. I would definitely recommend this place.
