Railay Family Restaurant

We came here two days in a row. Everything was delicious and the staff were very kind and friendly. I’d recommend the steamed fish and stir fried morning glory. It’s sad to see this area being so empty like this. I hope this place will survive in this crazy pandemic.

อาหารอร่อยมาก ยิ่งซีฟู้ดร้านนีี้ไม่ผิดหวังเลยเจ้าของร้านบริการเป็นกันเอง รอบหน้าจะแวะไปอุดหนุนใหม่คะ

As always the food is top notch (our fav the shrimp cakes) and the service we love from Family is even more present during these new times of travel. Thank you for being open and thank you for another fun fun evening.

I went two times. First one everything was ok, nothing extraordinary, but nothing bad to say about the food. Today I tried the second time. I order springroll and a pad Thai. When pad Thai arrives I see it looks very weird. I try one squid piece, and it was half cold half hot. No flavour at all. The pad Thai was a mass of noodles all sticked together and a suspicious liquid on the bottom. Straight away I know this dish was reheated from who knows where and I don't try any other bite. I am in fact hoping not to get sick for that piece of squid that I ate and that who know who's else's plate it has been. I return the dish straight away, a woman tries to convince me that they cook every meal one by one. She maybe thought it was the first time I see or taste a pad Thai. About the spring roll, at least it was cooked, but all there was inside was glass noodles and small pieces of carrot. So that was mi dinner
. Glass noodles rolled in pastry and fried. I feel very bad and disappointed as I came back because the first time was not a bad experience and I trusted them. But today I am very disappointed. Trying to trick me was a very dishonest and bad karma for them.

This restaurant is okay. I had a pad see ew which was not particularly flavoursome and quite salty, and the tofu was very dry. It is, however, one of the more affordable places around Railay and the meal was not so bad that it was inedible. Wouldn’t recommend unless looking for a very budget option.

I had a great time at this place, people are nice and the food is great, cheaper than other places around. As a Thai, this is the only place I would recommend

What a great place & menu. This restaurant is definitely a top 5 in Railey. If you like spicy try the papaya salad with something else to wash it down haha. The restaurant itself is very clean and open. Would come again & the price is reasonable.

Very good food! I ordered:
- papaya salad (good)
- penang curry (very good)
- banana in coconut milk (exceptional)
All in just $9, which i consider as very fair

So good! Would highly recommend this place - the Tom Yum Kung was our table favourite, but the pineapple rice, fried noodles, and panang curry were also popular - so everything we ordered was excellent. Service was quick and friendly. Superb - will be eating here everyday until we leave Railay!

Authentic taste (proved by Thai local lol), big portion, reasonable price, very friendly staffs. Highly recommended! Fried chicken is one of the best!

Probably the best food on Railay! Chicken with cashews is amazing, beef salad, curries and other dishes are also delicious. Prices compared with other restaurants with sitting places are very good:)

It was delicious. That fried cabbage was surprisingly the best dish and was so so good. Food took slightly longer but that's because they sent everything out at once. Was quite happy with their cocktail as well. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommend if you're in Railay Beach.
