66Tasty indian food, better than the other indian food I had around phi phi island. The restrooms could be better.
Muslim prayers on the tv in a loop mode, so no alcohol is available. The guy who greated us, who I assume was either the owner or the manager, spoke to us in French and was super friendly. He advised a couple of house specialties and we were right to trust him, the food was simply delicious. Big applause to the panaeng curry! A super odd yet fun fact about the venue: they have cats in a fridge! Fear not, they do not eat them, it is to keep them away from the heat!
It might be ironic but the best curry I ate during my whole month in Thailand was made right here at Papaya, on tourist trap Koh Phi Phi! This is simply the only dinner place worthy of your baht on Koh Phi Phi. Coat your stomach with a nice massaman curry before you head off to Slinky Bar vodka bucket in hand.
Good food.good price.we ordered thai food and we also tried the lamb biryani and pizza from the indian restaurant beside papaya (they own it too!) Everything we ordered was good.
Great thai food, they dont serve alcohol but you can bring your own (cheaper) and the best part is the waiter there speaks 13 languages!
Sporo osób twierdzi że jest to najlepsza restauracja na wyspie. Coś w tym jest. Warto spróbować curry czy krewetek z groszkiem. Trzymają koty w lodówce. Wiem brzmi to dziwnie, ale. True story.
