The best restaurant in Phi phi. Imazing indian food, wonderful friendly stuff and owner. We ate dinner here 3 nights in a row and could not get enough of all the imazing dishes. We will miss it all year long but we will come back again next year. We keep returning last 7 years and we still have to say they do a great job!
Definitely RECOMMENDED FOR INDIAN FOOD.
It was like the BEST indian food we had in whole Thailand trip.spices to the perfect taste.each and everything we ordered was superb.we all are VEGETARIAN hence it was getting bit hard to get good food in Thailand.we loved it so much that repeated it next day before leaving phi phi as well.we have given the feedback directly to the owner as well n told to keep up with the taste. Other things we have not tried hence reviewing only for Indian food.
Decent Indian food here. From what I gather there are only 3 restaurants in Phi Phi Don offering Indian food and the reviews for the other two weren't so great so I came here.
Not the most outstanding layout and more like a canteen vibe but tasty butter chicken with rice and garlic naan. Poppadums with relishes were ok too but very spicy.
Note for the British traveller: in Thailand Butter chicken is the equivalent of chicken tikka masala in UK as their Chicken tikka masala is quite different and it seems universal around Thailand. So order butter chicken if you want that kind of curry. Also the poppadums are half the size of UK and very spicy along with very hot mint sauce opposed to the sweet mint sauce in UK. It's like this in all Indian restaurants I've been to in Thailand.
Yummy Indian food. The chicken Tikka Massala was full of flavors. The chicken Korma was also decent. The staffs were friendly and welcoming. I didn’t try Thai food here but, obviously, Indian food is their expertise.
Good food! I recommend trying the Chicken tikka masala, it was very nice. The staff is also friendly and the service is good. Definitely recommend eating here.
We tried kadhai chicken, and the delicious indian food satiated us from long hour ferry journey. Must try if you love indian food.
Unfortunately our food here was really bad.kinda disappointed after reading all the great reviews. We ordered chickwn spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken as well as tom yam soup which was flavorless, and also became very sick afterwards. Service was horrible as well. Sat down and a guy came and took our order then never returned. Reordered drinks off another server, and wondered whether our food was ordered from first guy. Food came but a no one ever came back to check on us. Very dissapointed!
Enjoyed the site with AC. Very friendly staff. Had my first massaman curry ever. I would eat here again.
This is good Indian restaurant in Phir Phi island. Food is having full indian flavour including people talking in Hindi as well. Price is also decent.
The chicken fried rice was amazing and priced cheaper than everywhere else around. You get a huge serving and you can also take it to go. The owner was very kind as were the staff. The location is easy to get too but try not to eat too much there and then walk back to your hotel or resort if it's far.
Really enjoyed our meal here. There is a Thai and an Indian chef and we tried a bit of both. Got the Massamum curry, fried fish in chili sauce and chicken thigh tandoori. My favorite was the fried fish in chili (not very spicy but flavorful and the sauce was quite sweet) but everything was good! If I could give it a decimal rating I would give it a 4.4 but giving a 5 since I disagree with the current 4.1
I came back after 7 years with the thought that we will find the same good food and decent prices! If last time I awarded 5 stars.now I give only one star! Indulgently!
Indian food in Phi Phi. This restaurant was recommend by a girl from London. Papaya salad was very nice.
Big portions and really tasty! Chicken Masala is amazing and the best and bigger papaya salad in phi phi
Comparable in pricing to restaurants in phi phi. Food is OK, atmosphere is fine as this is not a luxury restaurant, someone hovers over you from the second you sit down til you order which I find awkward. Cats wandering inside. Vegetable dish came out after a minute or two, suspiciously quick, but was hot.
Great dishes, the owner was specially welcoming! I was surprised at first because of the clean products smell, but the food was delicious, totally worth it. I had a Massaman Curry, absolutely fantastic! My girl had a pad thai, it was also great! Go and enjoy it
Do not judge a book by its cover, this place has incredible food, it was filled with flavour and for a seriously good price!
Really tasty and good value Indian food in Tonsai. Second meal here, came last year and it's great to have a change from Thai food occasionally.
The cat that sleeps in a fridge wasn't about this time, but it is a star attraction when it is.
Experience with the staff was bad. We order aloo parantha, yogurt n pickle. To which pakistani waiter said refuse to give pickle n saying they dont offer it to anyone. When we mentioned we got it yesterday when we came to eat he starting arguing with us. Which made us to leave the resturant. But day before wait staff Ramesh from Burma had a good sense of customer service. Over all hygenically resturant is very bad, toilets are dirty.
