Matcha Tour

For the Koh Lanta ticket I bought in Ao Nong, I was told that the departure would be at 12 o'clock and the arrival would be at 15.00, but in reality, we were picked up from the hotel at 12.40 and collected customers for about 1 hour, then we were taken to the office in Krabi and dropped off, we waited for the vehicle there for 1 hour and when we arrived at Koh Lanta, our day was over. Please contact this company. Stay away and let them fix themselves.

The worst experience I ever had. They lied to us in every way, since a trip that was going to be 2 hours turned out to be 6 hours. The bad treatment and the bad disposition we received from the driver on the section to Koh Lanta during the ferry, to which we arrived late because of him, were crazy.

Koh Lanta - Khao Sok

Like all the other reviews state - they drive to the bus stop at Khao Sok and want more money to drive to the hotel. We booked through an agency in Koh Lanta, unaware which company. Probably why they keep getting costumers despite the terrible rating. The driver also drove very dangerously (even for Thailand) and we were over an hour late. Many transfers to a bunch of different van stations for no reason.

Supposedly we should have left Krabi for Koh Lanta at 9: 30 am. We ended up leaving at 11am, after waiting 1 hour in one of the company's store.
It was told us that he van carried a maximum of 10 people. Ended up taking 13, with the suitcases all piled up in the middle of people.

As all the other reviews state, AVOID. Booked a transfer to Koh Lanta through a stand in Railay, and ended up with Matcha tour. After getting off the boat in Ao nang, we waited about an hour for the van, to be taken to the Matcha tour office in Krabi and told to get out of the van and wait for another hour. At both stops they tried to sell us an open departure from Lanta, saying that they were the only option. Van was dirty inside; the sestbelts were covered in goo. Our driver made multiple personal stops along the way. Despite all this we were only an hour late to the destination on Lanta.

I’ve just entered my fourth mini van in krabi and am already over an hour late. This is the worst travel agency I’ve ever seen in Thailand

The worst agency i have ever come across. They deserve a negative rating. Very rude and unprofessional. They came late for pickup and blamed every thing on us. What a shame

My worst experience in 5 months in all ASIA. The kind of human is bad for the country reputation. They lie (saying you have to pay them and that you will pay more once in the island), they are agressive (the lady wanted to fight! Never see that before) and even use the less power they got in their life to tell you they can decide if you will leave or not because she can ask whatever she wants to the driver. Crazy people.
Didn’t choose to go through them but unfortunately Lomprayah is still doing (not even sure actually because we already went through Lomprayah office before so I am even wondering if the driver is not part of the trap…)

Terrible company. If you find yourself here prepare to be lied to disrespected and cheated by the operators.

We booked a transfer that was meant to be a single van from Ao Nang to Koh Lanta and for some reason our original van dropped us here at 10: 15. From the beginning they were very defensive and rude unnecessarily. They told us we’d have to wait 45 minutes until 11 for the next bus to pick us up. All of us in our car and other cars had been told it was a direct transfer by our tour operators so one couple called their travel agent.

They then made an announcement that no one should call their tour agent or they would be punished. Clearly they were not meant to be transferring us onto other busses or making us wait and didn’t want to be caught.

We also saw many people who were told their transfer on Koh Lanta to their hotel wasn’t included even though they had it on their ticket that it was. This was to extort fees of 100-300 from each person for the “extra” transfer amid threats that they would drop the people on the side of the road once arriving in Koh Lanta.

We called our own tour operator to let them know what they were doing, and while on the phone these men told us if we made trouble they would send us back to Ao Nang. Because we called they told us the men told us they would send every other group of people going to Koh Lanta before us, and they did sent us on the last bus which departed at 11: 30.

While not a huge delay in the grand scheme of things, the lying and threats and rude behaviour overall was atrocious knowing they had us trapped in this location without any transport of our own.

They told us we would get to our hotel at 12: 30. In reality it was 3: 30pm so we wasted an entire vacation day due to the nonsense behaviour of this company.

They didn't tell us that we had to wait for 40 minutes in their office before leaving for Koh Lanta. We were just picked up at our hotel and dropped off at their office with no heads up. They also didn't have wifi for the many people as they waited.

Because you can’t give zero stars. I waited 1.5 hours longer than supposed to with no communication from this tour company, in 40 degree heat on a sidewalk. A van was supposed to pick me up and we head to Koh lanta from Krabi. It didn’t, instead a car picked me up 1.5 hours late and brought me to their headquarters where I would further have to wait. I mentioned to the gentleman that was behind the desk that I was supposed to be picked up at 12. He said no we leave at 1 everyday (it was almost 2pm already at this point). I said my ticket says pick up at hotel at 12pm. He yelled at me in Thai and passed me off to someone else, I guess he couldn’t be bothered to deal with customer service. Then we piled too many people into a van where the a/c barely worked and we all sweat uncontrollably for almost 2.5 hours. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Avoid this transfer company. Delays is normal thing for them. Used 3 other companies before and in comparing, they are luxury and punctual. They will ruin your day.

Very unkind people. I made a mistake in where to drop us off on koh Lanta, the driver wouldn't drop us off at the right location and practically kicked us out of the van.

The Lomprayah company took us here for our connection to koh lanta we waited 1 hour which was expected when we read other reviews on the Lomprayah booking website. What we did not expect was to be scammed to paying for a taxi from the pier on koh lanta to our hotel. We paid the man at matcha tour for a taxi ride from the drop off spot in koh lanta which we were told was saladan, once the mini bus stopped moving we were let out on to the street and when we asked the driver for a continued ride as we had paid for he said not me. And pointed to other taxi drivers that wanted another payment. The man at the matcha tour place that originally took our money gave us a sticker with our hotel name on it and everything and pointed to a map the distance from our hotel was 50 baht worth each per person. It’s not necessarily the money but the taste of being scammed that is so annoying, beware.

Absolutely bad.
They took us at the peer, on time, then drove to their office 20mn away to sell us more tickets saying we had to change bus, then put us on the same bus and returned to the peer again! Upsetting.

Woman told me that they were the only company coming back from Lanta giving me only 50 minutes to get my flight. Tried to sell me a whole taxi for 2600baht. They are robbers. There are minibuses every hour from 6am lanta to Krabi airport

The worst service I have seen in the whole Thailand. The girl at the desk is injuries every one without any reason.

Beware - It’s a scam company. They will tell you what you want to hear in order to get you to buy their services but they don’t follow up with any of that.

They told us we have a direct trip from door to door which will take 2 and a half hours, Krabi to Kho lanta. Instead we were dropped off half an hour into our trip (in Kong Ka Pier) to wait for almost 2 hours in order to get picked up again and carry on for another 2+ hours. By the looks of the other people around, no one was made aware of this, so it wasn’t a one off miscommunication.

The staff are very rude. They hung up when we tried to inquiry on what’s happening.
Avoid if possible or be prepared for inconvenience and disrespect.

Try to avoid them! We end up accidentally with them twice.seems like all tour en up with this agency at the end.

They were really rude. Waiting time 2h each time. On top of that their driver are on "local" drug and stop everywhere to do their personnal shopping.

They let us walk instead of dropping us at the hotel as they were suppose to once finally arrive on the island.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. A SCAM! Booked through K-Bunk hostel in Ao Nang. Was told it was a ferry to Koh Lanta. Ended up being a two transfer bus ride all the way around Ao Nang to Krabi, waiting an hour then a long hot crowded bus ride.

Book directly through Phuket Ferry.
