Best hotel in Phi Phi, everything was excellent, the location, the room, the staff, the bar and the breakfast with lots of choice, family hotel to keep warm for the next vacation.

The Mama Beach hotel is perfectly located, quiet with its small beach where you can enjoy the deckchairs and the bar while sipping a passion juice soda that I recommend. The rooms are spacious, bright and the bedding is very comfortable.
The staff is attentive and charming, the breakfast is excellent. In short, a very well managed hotel that I recommend with pleasure.

Spectacular hotel. Very familiar. The attention of the staff and the owner were excellent. The location is ideal to be able to rest without any problem of noise from the clubs. The room is spacious, clean and with spectacular views of the beach. I missed having a closet. The breakfast has nothing to envy of hotels of higher categories. Thank you

The hotel is very old. There is a very unpleasant smell in the room. The mattresses are sagging and the bed squeaks with every movement.
The staff is friendly and helpful. However, this wasn't enough to stay. We left the hotel early after one night.
We didn't feel comfortable and it felt dirty. There was always a cat on the balcony that wouldn't let you sit on the balcony in peace.

Everything was perfect is near zo center but still you have calm because is the one of the last hotel on the beach. Room was clean and breakfast excellent. Also you can enjoy jacuzzi.

My stay at the "Mama Beach Residence" was, unfortunately, an incredibly frustrating experience that led me to check out after just one night. The biggest drawback of this hotel was the unbearable scent that permeated my room, causing me to develop headaches. This scent was not only unpleasant but also had a detrimental effect on my health.

What disappointed me the most was the hotel's lack of effort to make my stay more comfortable. After voicing my complaint at the front desk, I was essentially left to deal with the issue on my own, with no proactive actions taken by the staff to resolve it. This lack of customer care was completely unacceptable.

Furthermore, the hotel appeared to be in a state of disrepair. The furnishings and common areas were worn out and neglected, giving the impression that no renovations or maintenance had been carried out for years.

Considering my disappointing experience at the "Mama Beach Residence" I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this hotel. If you are seeking a pleasant stay, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Hotel very well located, far from the noise and direct access to the beach. Friendly, smiling and welcoming staff. We had a great stay at this establishment.

Great place to stop, end of the beach so a lot quieter than nearer the pier but still very easy walking distance.

It was great! The room was nice and clean, and we got the first ground floor unit which was awesome. The bathroom couldve been better lit. A luggage area wouldve been helpful. Other than that, the service was tiptop. Good breakfast spread too.

Lovely little place in a restful uncrowded and pretty end of the beach. The staff are wonderful, thee owner takes personal interest in the maintainence and always there to help. The sit out in the beach is beautiful and serene. Highly recommended it.

Very nice staff, my room air con didn’t work and they upgraded the room. Overall super happy stay with wonderful view? The owner was super friendly himself - THE BEST HOST! If you get chance to met him.

Perfect stay, we enjoyed it very much. The staff are friendly and kind. They helped us with everything we asked. The private beach is incredible. We would defenitly visit again

Looks nice from the outside but rooms do not feel clean. The bed is also odd, set back on timber and hard to get in and out of quietly. It is a bit a of walk from the centre of Phi Phi, despite this, there is a very loud bar behind going until the early hours. We slept better in the centre of Phi Phi. Breakfast was a bit odd, flies all over the pastries. Eggs made to order, which were fine, but arrived long before any sign of a coffee. Bathrooms were the strangest part, partly open to the outside, not enough to fit a human, but bugs and free passage into the room. Toilet backed up and leaked sewage over the floor. We had to move rooms, same odd bathroom set up. Had to hang around on checkout while they checked we hadn’t had any from the mini bar (we hadn’t). No offer of a discount for what was quite expensive sewage room, or even a beer from the minibar. The outside area of the hotel is the reason for some stars being given, nice outside area with loungers and near the quiet end of the beach.

Be prepared for not getting a refund despite the whole COVID situation. I had a awful experience! Tried to cancel the reservation for NOV20 since July and in the end got no refund. Customer service was far from being helpful und kind.
