If you are visiting Ko Lanta Yai, please visit this restaurant, it has great food, drinks and hospitality with excellent taste consistency.

Hidden gem in Koh Lanta's Relax Beach area. Went there consecutively for 2 nights because we were blown by the flavour of the food. Malina knows her Thai flavour very well and her dishes are very pleasant to eat. She is able to tweak the level of spiciness to the customer's liking and her food presentation always come with clever garnishes of shredded cabbage, snake beans or herbs like coriander which compliment the food. Her papaya salad, tom yum soup and pork laab made me smile. Good prices and main dishes range from 120-180 thb and comes in generous portions. Malina cooks with love and it shows in the her food. Her partner Dan runs front of the house and is fun to talk.

Very good food at low prices in a clean, friendly place. Set back from the road, this small, relaxed restaurant has a nice atmosphere. There is a range of curries, soups and stir fry dishes with a bit of English food thrown in as the owners are and English/Thai couple.

The ingredients were fresh and crisp, decent quality meat, especially the ground pork. Flavours are complex and you can ask for less chilli when ordering - medium spice is fine for me, I couldn't manage hotter.

The co-owner is English and chats a lot, he is not involved in cooking, which is run by Malina, a talented chef who stays true to Thai home cooking but knows European preferences too.

Food is absolutely amazing! The staff ist friendly and it's not directly at the street so it's quiet. Go there if you can. Prizes are good as well.

Super quality Thai food at good prices. Well worth a visit. Very pleasant and engaging staff. Try the Panang Curry.

Most expensive restaurant in Thailand. Best go to one of the other ones. 170baht for chicken stir-fry without rice included.

Had a lovely holiday, met some wonderful people, seen some breathtaking places and ate fabulous food. I stand by my review.

I like the pineapple cashew dish with tofu best. I ask them to make it spicy and it is very delicious! This is the perhaps only authentic Thai restauraunt on Koh Lanta.

I ate here for lunch & had one of my favorite Thai foods, Penang curry & it was awesome!
Nice clean restaurant with a cozy feel.staff was very friendly and they had a fan pointed at me.sweet.prices are a lil high but lanta is like that. Malina’s is definitely worth checking out.in the morning im gonna check out their breakfast menu. ️

Love the atmosphere. Love the owner. Love the prices. Love the food. We tried out all the highly rated local sports for dinner and once we tried them all, kept coming back to Malina’s Kitchen for their quality, cleanliness, value, portion sizes, and taste. Malina is a wonderful host and her staff is top notch. Highly recommend. 10/10

Every dish comes in a very good portion and you can tell how fresh the food is!
Customer service is spot on and the price is very good (just 80 bath for a pad Thai).

Wir waren jetzt schon öfter bei Malina's Kitchen und haben immer sehr lecker gegessen. Die Fried Noodles with Chicken sind sehr zu empfehlen. Für gerade einmal 90 Baht bekommt man hier eine echt große Portion. Der Inhaber ist sehr nett und immer für einen Plausch oder Tipps zu haben.

Das Essen ist wie überall so ziemlich dasselbe keine Frage, dennoch finde ich die meiner Meinung nach großzügigen Portionen echt lobenswert. Der Hausherr ist auch ein echt netter und sympathischer Mann! Also wir gehen sehr gerne hier essen und werden es bestimmt auch noch paar mal! Man bekommt auch recht schnell sein essen! Danke!
