It was pleasantly crowded, as there was no table free for two; but the owner opened his truck to make us wait comfortably

The staff was very friendly & the food was super tasty!

It's worth knowing that if you order for example a stir fry with tofu it will have a lot of tofu and few other vegetables. Overall we didn't like the food that much compared to others that we tried.

Very tasty food, friendly boss (English?) and her employees. Prices are okay. It's always full, make sure you have time to wait, it's not bad if you sit on chairs on the street and have a drink.you're on vacation after all

Super nice and cozy place with delicious food! Ended up here a number of times in two days from lunch to dinner and stayed seated due to the bad weather! Super friendly people and delicious food and cozy decorated place! Highly recommended.

One of the best restaurants I have had in Thailand. They have taken care to select the best Thai dishes as well as other dishes more suited to tourists.
Everything is super good and made with love.
The barracuda was excellent. The chicken rolls are also very good.
We ate there twice during our 3 day stay.
I recommend, if you are there you can go there with your eyes closed

I had the Tom Kum coconut soup and my girlfriend had the Massaman curry. Both delicious.

Malina and her husband do everything right here. The food is incredibly delicious and the service is 1A with ️. We ended up at Malina's because of the very good reviews and didn't leave.

I read about this place on some food blogs and was so happy I tried it out, it was truly amazing. Came back the very next night because I’m not sure anywhere else can beat it. As many other reviews said - the massaman curry is so so good. The portions are really generous. The huge mango smoothie was amazing as well!

Some of the best seafood around! The Londoner who worked there talked me through the options and explained to me how they would cook it. I thought it was great service and anyone who comes to Lanta should come here

Great food and very nice staff. The owner even came over after we finished to ask how our meal was. Very good service. For the food, delicious penang curry spring rolls with chicken and don't miss the red curry! I got it with rice noodles which made it even better. Also the banana cashew shake and coconut shake were excellent! Must try!

AMAZING! I had fresh whole snapper with red curry vegetables. It was fit for a king! The snapper was grilled to perfection! I ate it all myself as my husband opted for a western food. I couldn't leave a bite even though it was alot for one person. I could come here and have the same dish again. Great friendly service as well. I recommend!

Update 2022: revisited this restaurant in its new location in December ‘22. Now seems more suited to those new to Thai food as a gentle introduction. For those more used to Thai food you may find it a little bland - to be clear I'm not talking about the amount of chillies used, but the more subtle flavours that Thai food is known for, but seems missed here.

Original review 2020: Popped in for lunch and very glad we did! The curry fried rice with chicken was surprisingly good, so much flavour in there. But the seafood tom yum soup was the star of the show, we asked for spicy and unlike so many places in tourist areas the chef did what we asked and she created a delicious hot fragrant soup full of tasty things. Accompanied by the best iced tea I've had (so many are just sweet and lack much else), would definitely recommend visiting!
