Karst Climbing

From our hotel in Ao Nang we visitted the owner Mon at his shop. We could make an appointment for the next day, so convenient. I immediately got such a good vibe from Mon, which is very important I think when you go climbing outdoors. Together with Mon we (My wife and I) travelled to Railay Beach, on the way we met Lauren, and we started of on a small area near the pier. My wife doesn't climb, so she went swimming. And Mon, Lauren and I started climbing the most beautiful routes I've ever climbed. The scenery is spectacular, the routes are even more amazing. Where in the world can you hug a stalactite, make some awesome moves and enjoy the beautiful landscape when you reach the top. I've done a lot of outside climbing with friends, and together with Mon and Lauren it was the same experience. Full trust, lot's of fun and amazing routes. Really recommend going to Karst climbing!

Mon is an extremely informative and friendly guide. The region is remarkable and the climbing is diverse. I highly recommend the full day trip because you get to rappel from a cave that’s far from the other tourists on the beach. 10/10 would climb with Karst Climbing again (and honestly I probably will before I leave Thailand).

We were lucky to go in the off-season and they were able to accommodate our last minute booking with a private guide. Lauren was super quick with communications and Mon our instructor was so awesome! He showed us lead climbing techniques and gave us lots of tips for our first time outdoor climbing. He was really great about figuring out what we needed in our climbing and made the class so personal. Great place, amazing experience, the view at Railay is unreal, wish I could quit my life and climb here everyday! Would definitely recommend!

I did a full day climbing adventure with Karst and it was once of the best decisions I made! Mon was an incredible guide and very knowledgeable about rock climbing and the areas we were climbing. We was patient and encouraging. Our group was small and intimate and we really got individual attention for our needs. I'm hoping to home back sometime in the future and do lead training with Karst! I highly recommend Karst climbing if you will be in the Krabi area!

We went to the 123wall, several routes are all very fun.

My husband and I booked a half day private tour in September 2019. Because we were travelling with our 3-month old infant, we were initially hesitant about bringing the little one along and my husabnd would go for the tour alone as we were unsure of the terrain/journey to the climbing location etc. Lauren was really good at answering all our questions promptly and addressing our concerns accurately. In the end, we had a fantastic time and definitely glad we brought baby along.

Mon was so helpful in every way and we felt very well looked after. He was not only very reassuring and I felt 100% safe during the climbs, but he was also a great instructor throughout!

Booking online was a breeze as well. I would highly recommend Karst Climbing and we will be coming back for sure!

I decided lately for a half-day climbing. Lauren was super reactive to help me to organise it. Then, I met Mon, who found the right words to challenge me and learned me some techniques! Warm thanks to the team!

Lauren and Mun scheduled us for a half-day climbing session in Rayleigh in May 2019. I can't recommend them stongly enough. We did a mid-level leading course in a superb location, right on top of the lagoon, there Mon gave us awesome insight into perfecting our techniques. It was my first time doing rock climbing. Though I was nervous, Mon (Instructor) assured me that I will have a good time with safety in mind ofcourse!

I did my rock climbing at Railay Beach. It is best for beginner rock climbers there and the view is pretty awesome as well! Mon was also sharing with me that he even does climbing at Ao Nang for experienced climbers. So do check out with him.

Mon is a very patient guy and he speaks very good english. He answered all my queries diligently.

Mon is also very helpful. From the start of day by issuing me with a bag to put my gears in till the end of the day where he gave me a helping hand to put of the sand from my shoes, he has been of a great help to me throughout my 1 day course with him. He has a chill personality so I think anyone can get along with him very well!

You know you are going to be safe with Mon from the time he picks you up from your hotel. Because he is the safest driver I have ever seen in the whole of Thailand so far!

Karst is a new school, so yea their equipments are all pretty new! Their pricing is also one of the best among other schools. Definitely coming back and will recommend to my friends as well.

I’ve been top rope climbing in gyms for the past couple of years and wanted to learn to lead. I took a 3 day lead climbing course with Karst Climbing and I’m really glad I did!
I was a bit worried there would be a language barrier but Mon clearly explained things to me in English which made it easy to learn and progress quickly.
Railay Beach is an awesome place to climb as there were different walls at my level to climb at over the 3 days.
The staff answered my questions before the trip via email, and booking online was easy. If you want to learn to lead climb I definitely recommend going with Karst Climbing.

If you want to climb in Railay Beach you definitely need to go with Karst Climbing! Mon is the most passionate, skilled and patient guide and it feels great to support a new local business, a company that really cares about climbing and their customers. I loved my day of climbing with Mon, and will definitely go again if I'm back to the area.

Rock climbing with the people from Karst Climbing was an incredible experience. Mon was an amazing guide who was very knowledgeable and patient being that my friend and I were beginner climbers with limited outdoor climbing experience. We had booked a full day with them and it included climbing at 2 locations followed by a rappel to end the day. Overall this was an excellent experience and I highly recommend Karst Climbing to anyone who's looking to do some outdoor climbing in Krabi.

Karst climbing was amazing. The guide I had was wonderful, I booked a full day and had a private day which was amazing because I got to climb more. Mon knew where to take me to avoid the sun and where to take beginners, intermediate or advanced climbers. If you have never climbed outdoors before you definitely need to try it! I would definitely climb with Karst again!
