Holiday Inn Resort Krabi Ao Nang Beach

It was good. Everything about the location, price, and room made this trip enjoyable. If I get the chance, I want to go again.

The resort is located on a perfect spot and just across the street from the hotel you can do everything from exchanging money, pharmacy, supermarkets and not to mention good restaurants around. The hotel room was very spacious and breakfast is massive! Great service too!

I stayed in a family room with garden view, but the room was dark and the bathroom smelled so bad that I couldn't sleep. Also, live broadcasts from a nearby martial arts gym or something were very loud until late at night, which made it difficult to sleep.
I was glad that I was able to change rooms on my third night and was upgraded to a pool access room. That room didn't have a bad smell, which was helpful.
The pool is spacious and gives you a resort feel. Be careful as the pool with the slide is too shallow and can easily cause injuries.
I want you to try harder at breakfast.
I think the location is good as it is right in front of the sea and the surrounding area is reasonably busy.

There was nothing to eat for breakfast. The swimming pool was empty and there was no balcony. But it was a building without an elevator. I was like, well, it's above 4 stars, so why don't they give me a toothbrush?
Also, the location is a bit remote. It's a bit difficult to walk to the center of Ao Nang Beach.

Stayed there for 3 days last week. The reception and all staff are very polite and attentive to your needs. The location is excellent with Noparat beach across the road. Rooms are big, well equipped. The bed is big and the matress and pillows very comfortable. Bathroom is big, with a good shower, no bath tub. Amenities provided. Cleaning ladies do a very good job. Spacious balcony with reclining chairs and a table. The breakfast is rather poor with no ham, bacon, cheese, no thai food, a couple of two indian dishes and a few more items. Not recommended. Room service is good but expensive as expected. Two swimming pools of good size. The main problem with this hotel is, that it is extremely noisy all day long. Packs of unruly and very loud Indians, Arabs, other middle easterners and muslims from nearby countries making every noise possible, shouting to each other all the time and constantly dragging furniture in their rooms 24/7. Large numbers of kids screaming in the shouting to each other all the time and constantly dragging furniture in their rooms 24/7 all day long, from 7: 00 am till late at night. Large number of muslims swimming in the pool with full clothing and washing their feet and sandals in the water before they go. Under these circumstances showering before using the pool is non-existent if you care about hygiene measures of that sort. Unable to relax in this place due to the extreme noise. On the other hand if you have young kids and want to let them roam free all day long without anyone complaning, this place would be good indeed and your kids will enjoy it a lot.

A resort with friendly staff, a large swimming pool, and a beautiful tropical garden.
The staff was very friendly and pleasant during check-in and check-out.
I had to change the room because it was a little different from what I requested at the time of reservation, but it was done very quickly and kindly so there was no inconvenience.
Other requests are also quickly handled by the reception staff.

The rooms are spacious and feel a bit old, but they are well maintained so there is no inconvenience in using them.
The veranda is nice and large, but it must be closed at all times because mosquitoes can come in.

The breakfast restaurant is on the second floor of the main lobby, and only has outdoor seating.
Also, I made a reservation that included breakfast when I made a reservation at the hotel, but I was confused because every time I went to eat breakfast, I was told that breakfast was not requested at the entrance, probably because I changed rooms when I checked in, but this was also handled well.
However, since there is only outdoor seating, it can sometimes be too hot.
The seats under the fans are a bit cool, but there aren't many tables under the fans, so you have to move when the seats become empty.

There are three swimming pools, two for adults and one for children, but most people flock to the largest pool to use.
Please note that the slides in the pool are for children only. Adults cannot use.and
There is a parking lot in front of the entrance and there are about 20 spaces.
Since it was the rainy season, there weren't many cars, so parking wasn't a problem, but it seemed like there wouldn't be enough parking during the peak season.

Other than that, it's nice because it's right in front of the beach, and the night market is close by.
However, although there are restaurants nearby, there are not many good restaurants for lunch.

Nevertheless, the next time I visit Krabire, I definitely want to visit again.

The resort is impressive from the entrance. The gentleman from the reception with perfect English. This is a great advantage because communication with most Thai men/women is difficult.
After checking in, we received welcome drinks. We didn't have to worry about our luggage either, because the hotel staff brought it to the room. And this is where it gets a little less colorful. Upon entering the room, we were a little confused. There was an unpleasant smell, like damp, a dark room on the ground floor, overlooking the garden, the bathroom door slid open and was difficult to open. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, which was becoming more and more noticeable day by day, as if it were coming from the sewage system. The furniture has also had its day. A fridge in a cupboard, where when you open the cupboard you are greeted by an unpleasant smell and hot air.
There is a TV, but no YouTube/Netflix etc. Only a few programs, including one in English.

On the positive side, good breakfasts, everyone will find something for themselves. Breakfast is served as a buffet. Delicious coffee!
2 swimming pools, one for children (water moderately warm for children), the other with a bar where you can drink and eat something.

If we were to return to this resort, we would request an upstairs room overlooking the pool.

For my recent 4nights stay at this hotel with my family, here lays my honest review. In short "DONT STAY HERE, EVER " The staff are plain rude and unprofessional and inside the hotel they are cheap cheats and scam everywhere and for everything you ask for. Breakfast is a horrid as well

I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff at holiday ao Nang Beach resort. U guys r amazing. Especially Mr Beat. He helped me a lot. And always smiling.the management should give him the best staff award. I'm staying here for 3 nights. Everything was perfect.

Great hospitality. Good location. Definitely recommend of you are going with family. Next to the Aao Nang beach so every evening you can take a stroll on the beach without any worries. Also they arrange for other travel facilities on request.:)

A beautiful resort and friendly staff. Not much choice for halal food inside the resort but good halal food are accessible around here.

Great hotel, nice clean rooms. Two swim up pool bars with daily happy hours. Lots of stuff for the kids to do if you bring them with. Gotta check this place out. And a fire show at night.

Family friendly place for everyone to relax and enjoy; kids get park, water-park and kids play-zone experience; adults get massage, gym, pools, bars with live music. Plenty of greenery but barely any mosquitoes, ambiance is carefully maintained. Breakfast is very good, on par with or better than what you usually find in resorts. Rooms are modern and cozy. All in all: enjoyable and very relaxing.

Super beautiful property, friendly staff. We were here on our honeymoon and they were really sweet to have given us an upgrade to pool access room. This place is value for money!

Nice hotel but they turn off your air conditioning after a couple off days and have to ask to have it turned back on. Staff are friendly but don't attempt to conect with the guests. Beach is for boats only.

The best hotel in Krabi. Location is perfect! Right in front is the ao bang beach, close by with very good restaurants. Walkable to the ao nang market.
