Modern hotel, quite good
located, with a lot to offer.
The rooms are nice, with a great TV and lots of programs. The bathroom with tub and rainforest shower. Unfortunately the water pressure is ridiculous, so the experience is lacking. It's not really clean, but it's ok. We were on the 5th floor with a view of the mountain, not nice. Advantage, rooftop bar (happy hour) great cocktails and rooftop pool (great) right next to it.
I didn't like the style of the hotel at all. Everything is very cold and hyper-modern in blue. The breakfast room really ugly with dirty cafeteria style windows. Coffee terrible, food ok.with lots of choice. But there is also a lack of cleaning here. Dirty tables, smelly chairs.
The staff overall is ok. The pool on the ground floor disappointed me. So somehow it's good, but there's still room for improvement. It was good here for 2 days but it wouldn't have been anything longer, I wouldn't book it again. When you go to the beach, you pass the sensational Centara, which awakens your longing.

Mold and dirt in the room - the worst and most expensive hotel on our Thailand tour.

Because of the very positive reviews, we booked a room with pool access. As soon as you enter the room, a musty, moldy smell hits your nose. Even the air conditioning couldn't eliminate this. When we looked into the bathroom, we saw black mold in many of the joints, especially in the corners of the shower, and the shower head didn't look good either. (See pictures) We complained about the room at the reception, there was still understanding and I was shown a new room. The smell was even worse here, and there was mold everywhere in the shower. We wanted to change hotels, but asked for a room on the upper floors (I thought maybe the humidity was due to the pool access). Once again at reception the staff were visibly annoyed and then moved to a room on the 5th floor. There was no apology, just mentioned that the room was a downgrade and we wouldn't get any money back. The humidity was better, but the room wasn't really clean. A spider has been living in our bathtub for 2 days. The room service didn't clean here. The balcony, the railings and the corridors of the hotel also look quite unkempt. (After changing rooms, we received a small apology in the form of a cocktail voucher for the hotel bar. But that couldn't save our mood either)

On the subject of smell: At the entrance to the lobby there are several manhole covers through which an unpleasant smell permeates the entire plateau.

The breakfast: is okay. There is a lot to choose from, but the quality is only average, and restocking takes a long time.

The location of the hotel is quite good. In 200m you are at the beach of Ao Nang. A pool view room also has some sea views from the 5th floor. However, the way into the city is a bit complicated. The main shopping street can be reached as the crow flies next to the neighboring hotel but can only be reached via a long detour. The nearest 7-11 is a 10 minute walk, a rather poor rate for Thailand.

We are happy to only stay here for 3 nights, I couldn't have imagined a longer vacation. We cannot confirm the many positive reviews. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to people with allergies, asthma or other respiratory diseases!

Very nice hotel in Ao nang. I like the rooftop pool. It's so beautiful when sunset. The room is clean and so quiet at night. The breakfast is simple.

The "BlueSotel Smart Resort" is a true five-star hotel with an excellent level of service. My stay was great! The room was spacious, very comfortable and had all of the necessary amenities. I also found the restaurant to be very nice, with great food and attentive staff. Overall, I had an exceptional experience at this resort.

Nice rooms, bad location long way from everything if it raining, charged $25 for a small can of beer from mini bar, won't be back.

Hotel is new and modern with every convenience thought about in its room design. Beds and pillows exceptional.

The staff were the most accommodating and service oriented we found in Thailand. They went above and beyond, picking up a package for us from another location.

Over all really enjoyed this hotel. Good location for the beach. Not the main road though. No shops nearby. Hotel is clean and smart. Staff all seemed friendly and helpful. Rooftop pool is very good. Great views. Bar next to it. And resturant on the roof as well. Could stop there all day if need be. Not the cheapest on drinks and food though. You can run up a nice bar tab easily. The ground floor pool is also pretty good. Can be a sun trap but only in the early afternoon. We did a week and enjoyed it. Overall would recommend.

The hotel is modern with a nice gym, pool, and excellent breakfast. The location is a bit awkward. If you want back towards to the main road, it takes you through a 15-minute stretch of nothing. I ended up going the other way towards the beach, which took about 5 minutes. Then an additional 10 minutes walk along the beach to get to the main road. Other than that, everything was fine

Pros: beautiful swimming pools, not far from beach and good location, low price, nice gym

Cons:
1. Our pillows were very dirty when we checked in, we informed the reception, it was changed
2.drinks and food at the hotel are not very good
3.all the facilities are bit sloppy. For example, bubbles on the floor, dirty mattress in the dimming pool.

Considering the cheap price, I still could give it a 4

Friendly staff. Nice pretty welcome drink. Water pressure in the shower a bit weak and not as hot, but we didn’t call to get it looked at. Amazing breakfast buffet. Roof top Infinity pool has a great view as it looks at the cliffs and sea. Not a lot of shade covering on the roof though. Walking distance to the beach but quiet from the loudness of Main Street. For the price we paid for, we never thought we sacrificed the luxury.

Gutes Frühstück, Service ok.

GOOD:

- clean and comfortable rooms
- nice and clean pool
- good gym (small but good quality equipment)
- quite place, no party around
- comfortable beds with nice TV (inkl. YouTube, Netflix)
- Restaurant on the first floor
- rooftop pool with amazing view and only quite music in the background in the evening (compared to other hotels there were no loud speakers & party all day long)
- good quality kettle in the room

NOT SO GOOD:
- offering "yoga classes" in the hotel > its not really yoga, more like a fitness & pilates class
- bad Wifi in the rooms (most of the time it was so bad that not even spotify worked properly. Be prepared with your own sim card and give yourself a hotspot whenever you need it)

We booked this hotel for 5 nights initially but decided to extend our stay for another 11 nights. Reception staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Special thanks to Miss Jezzy from Omelette restaurant for going the extra mile to make our stay pleasant. She even came down to say goodbye to us personally when we were checking out.

Decent hotel, good breakfast. Please note that the hotel will not call you a taxi to the airport and that you just arrange one yourself from outside sources which is very weird. The rooms are also not the cleanest, but average for a 4 star hotel. Hotel location is also somewhat out of the way and away from the main strip. Good if you wanna stay at the hotel all day, but gets annoying having to walk a good distance to get to anything. I will give it to them though, the breaKfast is above average for a 4 star hotel and well worth it.

For being SMART, the stay was very DUMB. First, the staff brought me and my luggage to the wrong room. After unpacking and realizing my key card didn't work, they transferred me to a different room in a different building. My key card worked to access the door, but didn't work to turn on the lights. After replacing the card, the lights worked for only a couple of hours and then failed to turn on the lights thereafter, requiring a third card replacement and several more conversations with staff. When taking a shower, the shower gel dispenser immediately broke simply by pressing down on it as intended. The hi-tech do-not-disturb button also failed to work, causing the cleaning service to wake me up early in the morning (I go to bed around 4 AM). I had one simple question that I needed to repeat 15 times with multiple phone calls and emails to get answered by their staff. The WIFI was difficult to use on my laptop, requiring a landing page to sign-in that would not appear at random times. The place is so SMART for their staff to handle it was STUPID.

Das Hotel war alles in allem eine super Entscheidung. Wir hatten einen klasse Aufenthalt.

Lage:
Optimale Lage direkt (2 geh Minuten) von Strand am ruhigen Ende (direkt bei der Last Fishermansbar) gelegen. Nur 6 min bis zur Hauptstraße (hinten rum am Cosi vorbei) oder vorne 12 min an der schönen Strandpromenade.

Zimmer:
Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer mit großem Balkon auf der 3 Etage. Sauber, Betten waren super gemütlich, Reinigung und Handtücher mehrmals am Tag. Unsere Aussicht war klasse.

Hotel:

Modern, gepflegt und alles gut durchdacht.
Das Absolute Highlight war der Traumhafte Rooftop Pool. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei - Pencakes und ein Sortiment an Patisserie über frische Omlets, leckeres Obst, Natur und gesüßter Yoghurt und und…. Tatsächlich war selbst der Kaffee aus dem Automaten lecker (7 von 10)

Personal und Service:

Das Personal war zu jeder Zeit sehr freundlich und engagiert. Man wurde überall und zu jeder Zeit freundlich gegrüßt und Sonderwünsche wurden mit einem Lächeln erfüllt. Wir wollten eine Nacht verlängern, allerdings gab es auf Booking keine Zimmer mehr zu unserem günstigen Kontingent. Die freundliche und sehr professionelle Rezeptionistin hat uns geholfen auch hierfür eine Lösung zu finden.

Fazit:
Absolut weiter zu empfehlen und sein Geld Wert.

We had recently checked out of a resort that did not meet our standards and walked to Bluesotel to see if they’re rooms were any better. The person at the front desk was more than happy to show us a room for us to inspect. Once we checked in, they upgraded us for free to a room with a pool view, which was very nice.

We ate the breakfast every day, had drinks in the poolside bar, had a spa on our last day there. Every experience was exceptional and the service was amazing. We would definitely stay with them again.
