Arthaya Villas

I scratched my motorbike. He just fell on his side when I stopped. The damage was negligible. And barely noticeable. I was billed for 3800 baht. In Thai. 5 points that I couldn’t even translate due to handwriting. I don't like scandals and noise. I simply paid for it, realizing that I was being deceived. It’s a pity that such a good place is spoiled by the greed and dishonesty of a deceitful and greedy owner. God will be her judge. The most important thing is that the motorbike fell on the hotel grounds. The parking lot is just rubble and sand. And it’s not surprising that this happens. It's a shame for them.

Really nice and cosy small place. About 10 units or so. Super friendly check in and nice room. The breakfast, if you book it as part of your room rate, is pretty limited and gets boring soon. A pity, as they have a really nice a la carte selection. The rooms are specious and very clean, the pool is nice (though no service by the pool) and the garden is beautiful. Be aware this is a dry resort, so make sure to get your beer outside.

The stay at Arthaya was simply perfect!
The owner is adorable and takes great care of us and above all very accommodating.
The place is magnificent, in a beautiful maintained garden and above all very well placed next to the beach and the city.
We were upgraded to a very nice and large pool view room. The stay was unforgettable!

I highly recommend staying here in Koh Lanta, the location I on point and the service, establishment, personnel is amazing! Thank you Ya and her team, all greatfull

Beautiful place and great (cheap) scooter rental. We really enjoyed our time here! It is a bit further from the beach, but a good base to explore the island. Scooter is definitely needed!

I can't say more except that it is a very good value accomadation and perfect for both families and couples, which is rare in my humble opinion in Thailand.

The owner Ya and her staff represent the thai hospitality everyone speaks about.

I don't understand the fuss about the payment procedure, as mentioned many times before in the reviews. Cash is the best! Very smooth and easy for us.

We were there only for two nights because we left Lanta as it was just to quiet for us, otherwise we would have stayed there longer.

Unbelievably good. Comfortable and peaceful. Staff are just wonderful. Clean, well run and you won't believe how nice the pool is.stay here! Oh, and the coffee is the best in the area!

Absolutely quality place. Lovely spacious villas with comfortable beds, good showers and very high standard of equipment. Really nicely landscaped gardens and a spotlessly clean, high quality pool. Helpful staff and very healthy breakfasts - note that the villas are fully equipped for self catering - although the proximity to so many good restaurants may tempt you away from the kitchen.

This hotel and restaurant are fantastic. Great coffee, breakfast and good atmosphere are tasty. All staffs are friendly and warm welcomed. I will certainly come back.

We had a wonderful time there. The Villa was very confortable. Especially the large terrace made our live a luxury one.

The owner and her stuff made our time there an experience of indulgence and happiness. We prolonged our stay and enjoyed the paradise for three weeks.

We will return for sure.

Arthaya is one of the best places we've ever been! Big, comfortable houses, incredibly clean with all you need inside. The whole area is like a paradise, a lot of palm trees, banana trees, flowers and other plants, everything is green and so beautiful! An owner - Ya is an angel, when I've had an accident she took me to the hospital (great hospital in the north) by her own car, and she was waiting in the hospital until I was ready to leave it. She is an awesome person! The whole stuff there is so nice and helpful with any requests and inquiries we had. This place has kind of vibe, you can feel comfortable and relaxed from the first minute. It's located few minutes by walk to beautiful beach (which is my favorite beach on the island), Wi-Fi is perfect, around 100Mb/s! The restaurant serves delicious food, they bake their own cakes and even bread which is incredible! It was so hard to leave this place after 1 month spend in paradise with these awesome people, but I'm sure we'll be back!

We very much enjoyed our stay here, as the villas are modern, spacious and the atmosphere at the resort is very relaxing - whether you chill at the pool or enjoy a good espresso and breakfasts at the restaurant. The hosts are lovely and we’ll for sure come back at some point:)

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing coffee and comfortable rooms. The swimming pool and surrounding nature are beautiful, and add to the relaxing and eco-friendly ambience. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel, great breakfast/ coffee, and best beach close by!

We stayed at Arthaya for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay a lot. Spacious room with a comfortable bed (you don't hear the road there), nice small private terrace, and clean pool. The best part was the delicious breakfast and perfect cappuccino (from a proper coffee machine). It was easy to rent a motor bike, get to the beaches close by (we recommend "beautiful beach" which is basically a 5 min walk away). The owner and staff are very friendly and organized our transfer to the harbour and boat to Phuket. On top of everything the owner is running an eco friendly resort here where you get water in glass bottles, waste is being separated, and renewable energy is being used. We can only recommend this place.:)

Nicely build resort with a lovely garden. Relaxing atmosphere, great pool and beautiful room with lots of details! Scooter for rent at fair price (200/day). A nice beach (DK beach) and a few restaurants (e.g. Happy Veggie) are just 5-10 min walking distance away.
