23Compared with the beaches on the nearby islands this one doesn’t excite. The chain restaurants & relentless touts trying to lure you into their restaurant, bar or massage parlour make it feel like Blackpool on steroids.
Very nice and private. Not many people. If you travel with your family or just looking for some silence and relaxation - definitely go there. We stayed at Novotel and can recommend the beach near the hotel (it is beginning of the beach if you travel from the north). Waves are not so high there. Beach may be also good for beginners in surfing because in the middle of the beach waives can be high enough for surfing.
It isn't the nicest beach but quite a distance. Too many long tail boats in and out. But you only go here to catch a long tail to Railay beach which is very pretty but flooded with tourists like an ant colony
