This is a small temple I stopped by on my way through. They sell cool fruit juice at the entrance. This temple stands out because it is colored red. If you go inside, you can see the golden tower. There is also a restroom, so use it if you are in a hurry.

Then, if you go in and look to the right, there is a place to make a wish. You can proceed by putting the coins you received in exchange for money one by one into hundreds of jars. That's all there is to see, and if you see it while passing by, a 5-minute visit will be enough.thank you

Teak-walled Buddhist temple founded in the 14th century and richly decorated with golden ornaments and colorful mosaics.

The temple is supported by 28 teak logs. It is simple and solemn. There are 108 iron bowls beside the window. You can exchange 20B for a bowl of silver horns and put the coins in separately, which means eliminating 108 kinds of troubles.

I thought it was Wat Chedi Luang, took a picture, called Grab, and returned to the accommodation, but it was Wat Pandao.

On the way to the Great Stupa Temple, you have to pass a very exquisite temple, that is Wet Phan Tao Temple, also known as the Teak Wood Temple, just around the corner not far from the Great Stupa Temple. There is an ancient and exquisite all-wooden hall in the temple. The whole building is made of teak. It is designed in a pure northern Thai Lanna style and has a history of more than 280 years. It is indeed a treasure-level hall in Chiang Mai, and it is one of the few. One of the wooden buildings. Phan Tao in Thai means "1000 furnaces", because it used to be a place where Buddhas were cast, and Buddha statues were cast for the main temples, hence the name. Compared with other resplendent temple halls, Pandao Temple is particularly simple and elegant. The main hall of Pandao Temple is composed of teak boards that came out of the mold, supported by 28 huge teak columns underneath; there is also a mountain-shaped roof cover plate printed with a snake pattern in the main hall, embedded in colorful mosaic lenses. ที่มาของนามแห่งวัดพันเตานันเพี้ยนมาจาก คำว่า พันเต้า ในภาษาล้านนา ซึ่งในภาคกลางคือคำว่า  พันเท่า อันเป็นชื่อวัดที่เป็นสิริมงคลอย่างยิ่ง เพราะมีความหมายคือการเพิ่มทวีคูณเป็นพันเท่า

วัดพันเตา คำว่าพันเตา เพี้ยนมาจากคำว่าปันเต้าหรือปั้นเต้าในภาษาเมือง (ภาษาเหนือ) แปลว่า พันเท่า หมายถึงการทำบุญที่วัดนี้ท่านจะได้อานิสงฆ์กลับไปเป็นพันเท่านั่นเอง

Un très beau temple, mais pour nous, ressemble aux autres, et il y en beaucoup à faire à Chiang Mai.

Unfortunately the temple is under construction at the time being. A metal fence is build around it which makes you can’t visit the interior. Parts from the temple are still visible from outside. It looks one of the most charming temples in Chiang Mai, the exterior is made out of wood with a big golden stupa behind it

Thailand's most famous temple with his thousand stairs to walk up. But don't worry, there's also a elevator bringing you up or down.

A serene little temple with no entrance fee and much less tour than the others. Highly recommend visiting here!
