เจดีย์รูปทรงสี่เหลี่ยมแปลกตา ตั้งสูงเด่นเห็นได้ชัด เป็นที่กราบไว้บูชาของคนในย่านนี้ ภายในวัดมีรถม้าสำหรับพานักท่องเที่ยวไปยังวัดอื่น ๆ โดยเสียค่าบริการ ก่อนใช้บริการ แนะนำให้สอบถามราคาอีกครั้งครับ

Since I didn't have time, I just looked around at the entrance, but if you're traveling around the area, you might want to visit at least once.

Most of the Lanna kingdom in the Wiangkkumkkam area has disappeared into the ground, and you can see the remains of the original temple and pagoda as it is. This temple is now recorded as the oldest temple in Chiang Mai.
Pagodas of the same shape are also found in Lamphun and Nan districts. The pagoda in Lamphun is much older.

As part of the ancient city of Weigonggan, you can park your car here and visit several nearby ruins on foot. There is no comparison here with Sukhothai. Just go shopping!

This is a temple in Chiang mai. There is a Friday market that operating at about 4pm until about 7pm. Many vendors will be packing and leaving at 7pm

Old ancient uncovered ruins of what was the old capital after chiang rai but before chiang Mai, before it was abandoned due to numerous floods. Enter through the main entrance and you will be able to go on a guided tour on a open bus or you can hire a horse guided cart. We opted to walk through the old town and took our time visiting the many ancient ruins and speaking to some of the locals. The museum is definitely worth a visit and holds many ancient artifacts. Friendly staff will be more than happy to show you around. It was very quiet when we visited during the week and was peaceful visiting some the old areas. Helpful placards so you can learn more about the each area. This temple is also covered in the museum.

แถวนี้ผมขับรถผ่าน และปั่นจักรยานผ่านอยู่บ่อยๆ วัดโบราณแห่งนี้และอีกหลายๆวัดรวมไปถึงโบราณสถาน (ที่เหลือเพียงเศษซากของวัดเก่าและเจดีย์โบราณ) ที่กรมศิลปากรได้ขึ้นทะเบียนเอาไว้ ตั้งอยู่ในพื้นที่ของ"เวียงกุมกาม"เมืองหลวงในอดีตของอาณาจักรล้านนา ก่อนจะโดนน้ำท่วม และย้ายเมืองหลวงมาอยู่ในคูเมืองเชียงใหม่ ณ ปัจจุบัน และทุกเย็นวันศุกร์ทางวัดจะมีการเปิดพื้นที่ให้พ่อค้าแม่ค้ามาขายของ เป็นกาดนัดเจดีย์เหลี่ยมด้วยครับ

Although there are plenty of temples to visit in Chiang Mai area, this one is certainly worth a visit. The ancient chedi (สถูป, stupa) is really impressive. Take some time to absorb and appreciate all it’s details.

วัดสวยค่ะ แต่บ้านร้างข้างวัดมันปิดบังยอดดอยสวยๆ เวลาเดินเข้าเวียงกุมกาม น่าเสียดาย บรรยากาศ ละบ้านหลังนั้นมันเป็นจุดอับรถสวนกันมองไม่เห็นกันกว่าจะเห็นกันก็หักหลบแทบไม่ทันทุกที เศร้า ทุกอย่างดีหมด เสียแค่จุดๆเดียว พังหมดเลย

วัดเจดีย์เหลี่ยมหรือที่เรียกกันเวียงกุมกามเป็นวัดที่ดูเก่าแก่บริเวณใกล้เคียงมีโบราณสถานหักพังเรียกว่าวัดอีค่าง

I don't know the history of this Temple but it has a beautiful Chedi and Ornate Assembly Hall with a number of paintings illustrating the life/teachings of Buddha.

เป็นวัดที่สร้างขึ้นอย่างสวยงาม โดยรับสั่งให้สร้างขึ้นโดยกษัตริย์ในอดีต พ่อขุนเม็งราย มีตลาดนัดชาวบ้านนำสินค้ามาขายทุกวันศุกร์ ในราคาย่อมเยาว์

วัดเงียบสงบ ไม่ไกลตัวเมือง เดินทางสะดวก เจดีย์เก่าแก่ เป็นทรงเหลี่ยม สวยงามแปลกตา มีที่จอดรถกว้างขวาง

ร่มเย็นเข้าไปกราบพระรับพรทำให้จิตใจสงบครับ. ช่วงนี้คนไม่เยอะผ่่นไปเข้าไปกราบพระได้สบายครับ

เจดีย์เหลี่ยมสูงสง่า มีบทสวดกราบพระเจดีย์ สมควรมากราบไหว้ ภายในวัดมีร้านค้าเสื้อผ้า รับคนละครึ่ง

อยากเที่ยวชมเมืองเก่าโบราณเวียงกุมกามอายุอานามนานกว่า 700 ปีแต่มีเวลาน้อย แนะนำแวะเยี่ยมชมนมัสการสักการะพระธาตุเจดีย์เหลี่ยมได้ที่วัดแห่งนี้ สถานที่เข้าถึงได้ง่ายอยู่ติดถนน การเดินทางสะดวกสบาย มาได้หลายช่องทาง
