Chang Phuak Gate Night Market - Food Stalls reviews
29 Popular place for real good street food. I love Kao Kha Mu Chang Puak. Good choice of food. Open in the evening. For some food you have to queue and take a number.
Parking difficult. Recommended.
A place full of local food. Hygiene is a bit disappointing, but
The variety of food is so attractive.
Absolutely love the atmosphere and food! All the vendors also had beautiful items! I am vlogging my entire experience on TikTok at Jamalyandme!
This is same as local market. Most of seller can not speak English, but we can use body language.
But the taste of all goods is so delicious with many kinds of local foods.
Terrible tourist market, they work exclusively for visiting clients, the portions are small; not tasty, overpriced, the market is designed to make the tourist feel like he’s in a Thai night market, but it’s not. Tom yam 150b, in a restaurant, you can get it cheaper with service, but here you are looking for somewhere to sit, at a table without cutlery and napkins. Pad Thai with shrimp 60b, there were 2 shrimp per serving) no lime, no peanuts, no greens. There were no napkins. I do not recommend this place to visit if you have ever been to a market where locals eat
Little night market where you have several stands, nice fruit juices at 30B and could eat on the market or take away
Lots of food choices here. We decided on Pad Thai, Chicken koa poa and mango sticky rice so good
A very convenient spot for tourists especially. All varieties of Thai food on sale. There's the famous pork leg rice stall visited by a late American celebrity chef.
Biggest night market I have experienced so far. Spreading out in the centre of the old city, the streets are all closed to traffic. You will need a couple of hours to do it justice. Leave room in your stomach for an incredible array of delicious street food and pace yourself as I didn't and saw so many things I wanted to try but was so full already. Lots of interesting things as well as food.
Good but not so special, I expected to have something more divers. Trully reccomend Mango Sticky Rice here
Good variety. Cowboy Kha Moo lady was over shadowed by this expremely packed Suki stall. Recommended.
This night market is very busy. There are a lot of food options.if you want to wait in a long line. However, the price is good and you do have a more local/tourist experience. The good thing is that it is open every day - so you always have a chance to come try all kinds of foods!
It's pretty good, lots of options. Seating available. 7-11 close, on scene. Bourdain's trip here put the Cowboy Hat Lady on the map. But there's better vendors than her (and her stuff ain't bad.) on the the street.
We found a stall serving vegan spring rolls and vegetarian pad thai (which they were happy to make without egg). The pad thai was ok - my partner had his with egg and said it made a difference - but the spring rolls were great and everything was really cheap.
Delicious and cheap food options! It was always our alternative to save the night when the restaurants were closed. We highlight the fried chicken with sauces for 50bht, the filled bread dim sum for 15bht and the "crepe" at the end of the market for 40bht.
Visited by locals and tourists alike, this market has a decent selection for sit down meals. We stayed up the more vegetarian end which was noticeably quieter than the other end, but the food was really good! So give that end a chance too. The weird coconut pudding dessert is pretty good too.
Recommend the food from the seafood stall and Som Tum were good. There was a stall with a long queue selling fried cabbage noodles but I did not try.
5 Moo Ping "Pork on a Stick", 1/2 a BBQ'd Chicken and 2 Cokes for $5 USD.its a Bargain that tastes great!
Feels a little bit touristy for a traditional night market.
I tried the pork leg rice from the lady with cowboy hat and duck noodle close to the entrance and it was okay especially for considering the price, delicious but I often had better.
