Whisgars (Sukhumvit 23)

So, a friend from work went to Bangkok last year with his wife and some friends. While there he found this place and in turn told me about it. My wife and I decided to go to Bangkok and I was determined to check this place out.

What can I say? This place has everything you want in a cigar lounge and then some. Soft leather seating, more than one tv, a bar, membership, whiskeys, cigars, I mean damn how could you go wrong.

I met one of the managers who informed me that when they opened, some years back they were the only cigar bar in Bangkok. Now there are several. Did I mention that they have lockers and a VIP room.

Many Single malt whiskeys and reasonable price in Bangkok. There are single malt whiskey testing set for whiskey beginners too. You will satisfy this bar.

A man’s cave for whisky and cigar. Great whisky selection and cocktails. Prices are still okay compared to other lounges. Try the whisky flight menu for more variety. Leather seats are kinda old but still comfortable with the dark ambience setting. Jazz band performs in the night. But the best part are in the great customer services. Makes you feel right at home.

The staff might be friendly, the selection of whiskys are fantastic but the selection of cigars are poor and expensive. And you will be charged for 300bht if you want to smoke your own cigars.

Very nice staff and atmosphere. I came alone, and was treated like a friend. This is THE place to go for Cigars, and a chat about life. Super friendly place, and a nice hideaway from the noise and busy Bangkok life. If you are into Cigars, Whisky or Rum, this is a must stop, if you are in the neighborhood. And if you are not, it is worth going out of your way to stop by anyway.

Excellent place for whiskey and cigars. Fine atmosphere and good live jazz. Very happy to have found it. The single malt collection is very wide.

If you want something different a place to seat drink and think or buisness discussions over a Cigar and a drink.this is your place.

Great selection of single malts, good service and nice comfortable leather chairs. An really excellent magician was performing there with some of the best card tricks I have every seen. He did say he was not there every night. If you like whisky and cigars you will like whiskers.

Cigars are expensive. They even allow your own cigar for a cover charge payment

Overall I'd say worth it to end a night with. Very respectable whiskey selection. Sadley I'd have to say their cigar selection was found wanting. Only had about 6 selections to choose from. Really enjoyed a bourbon flight. Budget about 100 usd or 3300 baht for here. Nice laid back vibe.

Great service and a wide variety of menu items from the kitchen. Ask for the Mexican, pizza and burger menu.

Great place to sip whiskey and enjoy cigar. Service was excellent. Serves non-governmental cigars only.

Excellent selection of whiskeys and bourbons along with a great jazz quartet. But the best part were the staff, from the bartender to the rest of the friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I think I just can't leave this place, please come if you want something more than massage and shopping in Bangkok, it can't fail you.

Cozy little spot, but selection of cigars was just a couple varieties and none from Cuba. Best to call before trekking over if Cubans are your quest. Otherwise, nice bar with jazz and more whiskey than you can imagine.
