The Bangkok Christian Hospital

Terrible experience. The receptionist at the front would not let me enter because I would not inform her of my medical condition. My condition was private and I didn't want to discuss it with someone who was not a doctor. I asked to just see a doctor for a check in, but still they said I still need to to tell them my condition. So after a small group of receptionist stood there trying to guess my condition I decide to go to another hospital where I had no problems.

Good hospital with English speaking staff and reasonable prices. I went there for removing stitches from a wound and for a x-ray of my chest after a bike accident. All staff involved spoke enough English (the doctor very well) and everything was organized well and smoothly. I payed 1530 Baht in total (THB=50 USD) : 600 for the doc, 400 for x-ray, 180 Hospital fee and 350 for wound treatment. They also have a 7-eleven and a good and cheap restaurant in house. Would go there again.

Its a Christian hospital but nothing Christian about it

Operating room has little privacy only a curtain separates you from other patients

I had a misunderstanding because of the language barrier with payment for my cyst removal.i paid 5000 baht for the operation which they told me it includes everything! And said come in everyday for a cleaning for the next 5 days. The cleaning was 600 baht each visit! But this payment caught me by surprise as I was under the impression that follow-ups are included with the 5k I paid.

Communication Skills are bad!

I had emergency surgery here recently. The staff treatment and accommodation were absolutely amazing. I have not had surgery before, so I cannot compare. But, let's just say thank you BCH for the experience.

ไอ้เจ้าหน้าที่รับคนไข้ก็ทำหน้าอย่างกับตูด ทำงานเช้าชามเย็นชาม ขอให้พระเยซูเจ้าลงโทษพวกแม่งซักทีเถอะ

The only good thing I found during my visit was a lady who assist me and friend to the medical check up room.

Are terrible, this hospital is overpriced, like super overpriced for nothing. The doctor didn't even explain his diagnosis, didn't even do any proper physical checkup before making his diagnosis.
It seems to me they see most patient as ATM machine only.

Will never come here and will spread the news to fellow expat.

I went and got my teeth fixed for 5,000 baht. They all speak English and are very professional. I think the best clinic I went so far.

Amazing service. As someone from canada I thought this place was amazing. You can see all the specialists, and get your tests on the same day. The costs were nominal.

As a foreigner I can say that the clear communication in English from the reception staff to the medical staff and also not to forget the patient care I received was outstanding. I was seen straight away.

Health checkup. If you're time is precious, go somewhere else.

The place is most excellent. This place should be a model for all other hospitals. I arrived at this hospital around 1AM (no appointment) in the morning after having severe diarrhea and from the time I arrive until the time I left was just under an hour after seeing a doctor and receiving treatment. Friendly and knowledgeable doctor and staff.and most of the cost was Very cheap! Overall a great hospital.

A very efficient hospital. The process was super smooth and nurses were so helpful. English speakers friendly.
My boyfriend got infected by the food in night market and had really bad abdominal pain, kept vomiting all night, with rashes all over the body. He could barely walk so the staff helped with a wheelchair and the doctor quickly diagnosed him as infection. We were concerned about the time as we were going back home on that day. They're so efficient (in every single way!) and we finished the whole process including the fluid injection in 2 hours.

พอถึงคิวผมส่องกล้องตรวจเชื้อ กลับให้ยามาแค่ 10วันและนัดซ้ำ ตอนแรกก็ไม่ได้เอะใจ แต่พอถังวันนัด 10 วันหลังจากนั้น ผมติดธุระ เลื่อนไปอีก4 วัน พอพบคุณหมอ กลับบอกว่าคนไข้ชุ่ยยาต้องทานให้ครบ14วันถึงจะมีผลฆ่าเชื้อดีสุด แล้วผมถามหน่อยว่าทำไมกลับให้ยาผมมาทานแค่10วัน อีก4วันทำไมไม่ให้
ผมกลับไปถามคุณพ่อ คุณแม่ ทั้งคู่ก็บอกได้ยาครั้งเดียว 14 วัน
แต่ทำไมทีผมถึงไม่ได้ ถ้าการให้ยา14วัน สำคัญจริงๆ จะให้ผมแค่10วันทำไม ไม่กลัวว่าคนไข้อีกสิบวันติดธุระมาไม่ได้หรอ

บริการดีเหมือนเดิมตั้งแต่มาถึงหน้าประตูทางเข้า หากมาคนเดียวไม่ต้องกังวลเลย มีคุณพยาบาลคอยดูแลแนะนำตลอด

I can’t rate this hospital highly enough. I was on holiday in Bangkok and came down with high fever, vomiting, diarrhoea and sore throat, with a rash all over my body. From the front desk staff who checked me in, to the wonderful English speaking doctor who saw me pre and post blood tests, to the efficient pharmacy collection system, I had nothing but courtesy and high standards from all the staff. All at extraordinary value for money compared to a hospital in Western countries. A cautionary tale - don’t drink anything but bottled water in Bangkok! I am on the mend now but it pretty much wrecked my week in Bangkok
