Sukumvit Hospital

Unless convenient location, nothing's worth to go. Based on >5 times experiences, the physicians are not specialized and have poor service minds, which lead to ineffective results. The physician's fee and medicine prices keep increasing and are now very expensive compared to their services.

Regular patient here. I’ve been to this hospital for several reasons; general med check and other diseases.
First of all, the nurses & hospital staff service was always top notch. I would say if you’re lucky, you’ll get the good doctors. My endocrinologist was the best, detailed explanation, helpful, and did not prescribe unnecessary meds (even suggested me to purchase meds from outside hospital for cheaper price).
During COVID 2021 I was also hospitalized here, I was very well taken care of by the nurses. I think the doctors also prescribed good meds as I got better fast (severe symptoms).
However one time I was hospitalized due to breathing issues, the ENT/lung doctor seem to prolong my stay with excuses that the blood test result has not come out even after 3 days, while eventually they let me out after some xray test only? Because of that I had to pay more than my insurance coverage.
Also I did general med check here twice. First doctor was super nice, she talked kindly and checked detail. However the second doctor was not really nice, explained briefly and seems like he wanted to just end the consultation soon lol.
Anyway, will continue the treatment here with my fave endocrinologist!

Feel like I got cheated. The doctor fee are over 1000thb for 3mins of measuring my blood pressure and body temp. I also needed to wait 1 HOUR to get my few hundred bath worth of medicine, which are super basic like Paracetamols and one for my nasal when I had Covid (which I can just buy from pharmacy, save a lot of time and money) …Very disappointed. What a big waste of time.

Reckless nurses at the ENT department. They didn’t take note on the patient’s drug allergy though being repeatedly informed.

I was very impressed with this hospital. Great environment, helpful medical professionals and admin staffs. Everyone is courteous and professional, speaks very fluent English (not so much of small talks but that’s not a part of their jobs anyway!) I’ll say they genuinely care about your wellbeing.
Before I visited, I was told general consultation & checks in Private Hospital could cost 4-5k baht… but this hospital is definitely charges a fair price, speaking as a tourist

Very very overpriced for nothing!
I had to do the 2nd shot of rabies vaccine. I have the vaccination card issues by the other THAI doctor on the island.
I called in advanced to check for price and they said 720 THB.
At the hospital it appeared I need to see a doctor first. For what? I guess just to pay for it extra.
I was bitten by the BAT - what is the check up supposed to be?
Where it bit you?
And that lively communication was 1 min long and costed me 500 THB.
But the most annoying is the declared due to pay amount and the end bill.
720 THB instead of 1760 THB.

Worst experience ever. Went to get a bandage changed because my usual clinic was closed. Doctor tried to offer me unesscary service. The bandage was put on badly and almost falling off. Then they charged me $65 USD for the bandage and told me they would call the police on me if I didn't pay in full. Never would go back to this place.

เจ้าหน้าที่บริการดี คุณหมอดีค่ะ แต่ตอนทำเรื่องเคลมประกันรอนานเกินไปมาก 2 ชม. พึ่งมาบอกว่าสำรองจ่ายไปก่อนได้ ควรแจ้งแนวทางให้เร็วกว่านี้ การประสานตอนเคลมประกันไม่โอเคค่ะ ช้า ช้าถึงช้ามากๆ และไม่ได้แจ้งให้ชัดเจน ต้องมาติดตามถามเอง ราคาค่อนข้างสูงค่ะ

K. Jirawan at customer relations was super sweet and always made me feel at ease and even remembered my name from the last time I was there a few days before. Made me feel very safe and seen. Such a sweetheart.

I went to get a fit for swimming medical certificate and while getting my blood pressure measured the 1st measurement was high bc I have hypertension. The nurse presses the start button on the blood pressure machine again to take another measurement and again high. She then presses the start button again like hey I'm a human being here are you even paying attention to the patient?

Doctor was okay and the wait was fairly quick.

The cashiers are terrible. I had to try quite hard just to get an itemized list to show my insurance. I have no idea why they seemed they didn't want to give it. Definitely shady feeling.

The experience was hit or miss at this hospital and the other reviews reflect this.

I will go to another hospital in the future.

Came to this hospital with a heart problem after a vaccine. They gave me a large number of tests, prescribed some pills and charged 8400 baht from me.when I arrived at this hospital I felt bad, after I left this hospital I began to feel even worse. Scammers work here, their main task is to steal more money from you without curing it.
