Quality late night Thai fare!

This place is an institution in Bangkok. All the classic evening dishes, friendly service and after bar vibes from local clientele.

The owner has an incredible collection of plaid dress shirts.

They have invested little time and money in the restrooms.

There are many good bars around and the food is delicious.
But the drawback is that it feels too expensive.

มาพร้อมกับความคาดหวังในหมูสัมต้มบ๊วย ก็ผิดหวังหน่อยๆ น้ำซุปออกเปรี้ยวนำ ไม่กลมกล่อม หมูสับ texture แห้งและเปื่อยจนรู้สึกเหมือนเป็นไก่มากกว่าหมู เมนูอื่นๆ ก็เฉยๆนะ เป็นรสชาติที่คมรเป็น ไม่ได้ว้าว

My favorite late-night snack in Sukhumvit. The combination of cut tom + radish + egg salad is the truth when it comes to relieving a hangover. Milk crab is a good increase from 300 baht 6 years ago to 400 baht now. It seems that it is easier to secure a table than before because the size of the restaurant has doubled.

Food is not bad but owner (and son) both dishonest. They block the prices of beer and charge 10-20 more. First time I was there the owner said 110 for Singha and 100 for Chang. Second time he tried to charge 120 for Chang and said he forgot and should be 110. Also they charge you for ice. Very annoying to try to cheat you in small ways and amounts. If you have to go to eat there ask them the price for a bottle of beer before you order.

Nice sour pork soup, but a bit oily cos of the fatty minced meat. Other dishes are normal and on the oily side. Will not go again if not for the sour soup. It’s just a omething special that not many places serve.

สั่งมาทานที่บ้าน มี เป็ดพะโล้อร่อย เลือดนุ่ม น้ำจิ้มเป็ด อร่อย 150บาท เมนูที่2 ต้มหมูสับเกียมบ้วย หมูสับมันเยอะเป็นเศษๆ เหมือนซดน้ำที่มีเศษหมูสับลอยๆ มีไส้1ชิ้น กระเพาะหมู1ชิ้น น้ำซุปออกเปรี้ยวบ้วยๆเค็มนิดๆ เฉยๆกับเมนูนี้ ธรรมดาไม่ได้ว้าว 150บาท ข้าวต้ม เฉยๆน้ำเยอะข้าวน้อย ข้าวแข็ง ไม่หอม เทียบร้านยศข้าวต้มทำข้าวต้มอร่อยกว่า (20บาท) รวมๆเราว่าแพงไปต้มเกียมบ้วยกับข้าวต้มเหมือนได้แต่น้ำอะ เป็ดพะโล้ราคาปกติ ยังอยากลองเมนูอื่นๆอีก

Immensely popular restaurant (have to wait for a table indoor after 7 pm), yet we found it rather average when it comes to taste, out of 5 dishes we had not a single one stood up and made us wanting to come back. Good thing about it is rather cheap price (except all stuff sold by weight) and fairly big portions. No desserts is another small disappointment (canned food doesn’t count).

I went to this place at around 11 pm hoping it would have been opened. Was surprised to see it was brimming with people. Food is really good. Visit once if you are around.

Interesting testy, different from other places from the same kind of restaurants.

Avoid to visit on Friday, Saturday night after 1 am. Its Chaos there.

Great local place to try some Thai food. Seems to be mostly patronised by locals. But I didn't think their sour plum minced meat soup was that great, as recommended in the reviews. On the contrary, I thought their sea bass tom yum soup was more appetising. The rest of the dishes were ok.

- สาย BTS ลงทองหล่อจะใกล้กว่าพร้อมพงษ์เวลาเดินมานะคะเพราะร้านอยู่ระหว่าง 2 สถานีแต่เยื้องไปทางทองหล่อมากกว่า ร้านอยู่ฝั่งซอยเลขคู่นะคะ
- สายขับรถ ถ้ามาก่อน 20.00 น. แนะนำให้ไปจอดที่ห้างอยู่ระหว่าง 2 สถานีคือพร้อมพงษ์หรือทองหล่อ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Emquartier Emporium หรือที่ร้านแนะนำคือ ซ. 47 แล้วเดินมาค่ะ
- สายขับรถผู้โชคดี คือมาตั้งแต่ 20.00 น. หรือ 2 ทุ่มเป็นต้นไปสามารถจอดรถหน้าได้เลยค่ะ แต่อาจจะรอโต๊ะนานหน่อยนะคะในช่วงวันศุกร์หรือช่วงพีคคนเยอะๆ

ที่นั่งมีทั้งห้องแอร์และ outdoor ริมถนนนะคะว่างตรงไหนนั่งได้เลยค่ะ รวมๆน่าจะประมาณ 20 กว่าโต๊ะได้

อาหารที่นี่อารมณ์เหมือนกินข้าวต้ม ที่มีกับข้าวตามสั่งรอบดึกกับเพื่อนๆ ร้านมีให้เลือกจะกินข้าวต้มหรือข้าวสวยนะคะ เมนูเด็ดที่นี่ยังครองความเป็นอันดับ 1 แกงจืดหมูสับเกี้ยมบ๊วย 1 ชามไม่เคยพอ เสริมทัพด้วยกุ้ยช่ายขาวผัดเต้าหู้ ออส่วนก็ดีมีความแป้งนุ่มๆหอยเยอะ กุ้งผัดพริกเกลือสูตรที่ร้านจะเป็นแบบไม่แห้งนะคะไม่ใช่คั่วแต่เป็นการผัด แต่กุ้งเด้งดีมากเนื้อหวาน ส่วนหอยแครงลวกมากำลังดี คะน้าปลาเค็มคือปลาเค็มมาเป็นชิ้นๆเลยไม่มีแบบเป็นเศษปลาเค็มนะคะ ปลาเค็มคือเค็มกำลังดีไม่ได้เค็มปี๋ ปูดองคือ ปูดำนะคะหรือปูทะเลไม่ใช่ปูม้า 1 จานคือ 1 ตัวสับมาตามภาพเลยค่ะไข่แน่นดีมากน้ำจิ้มมาแบบแซ่บๆเลย

? ข้อสงสัยที่ยังไม่เคยถามที่ร้านคือทำไมเมนูมีปูอบวุ้นเส้น แต่ไม่มีกุ้งอบวุ้นเส้น? ลองสั่งกุ้งอบวุ้นเส้น ร้านบอกว่าไม่มีในเมนูเลยอดกิน
อีกข้อสงสัยทำไมแกงจืดเกี้ยมบ๊วยบางรอบใส่ผักชีบางรอบไม่มีผัก (อันนี้ขำๆนะคะ)

️แนะนำสำคัญ จอดรถให้ถูกเวลาดีๆนะคะจะได้ไม่โดนใบสั่งหรือโดนล็อคล้อ

เป็นร้านอาหารแบบกึ่งภัตตาคารที่อร่อย มีเมนูหลากหลายเป็นเมนูอาหารไทยกับเมนูอาหารจีน เหมาะแก่การไปนั่งทานข้าวสังสรรดับเพื่อนหลังเลิกงาน แต่คนค่อนข้างเต็มร้านอบู่เป็นประจำ ถ้ามากันเยอะควรรีบมาจองก่อนที่ร้านจะคนแน่นค่ะ

It wasn’t crowded when we went at around 7pm, hence service was quite fast. Food is nothing fantastic. Ordered a plate of steamed prawn with garlic (3 pieces for 400 baht) but it didn’t taste fresh. Paid a total of 1200 baht for this meal.
