Red Oven

Pricey and not worth it. The seafoods, particularly the rock lobster, oysters, mussels, and smoked salmon were nice but still average. The cheeses and cured meets were good. The pasta was just bland, nothing memorable at all. The meat dishes were absolutely horrible, being highly overcooked and badly seasoned, and lacks any aroma. The Japanese foods were acceptable by streetfood standards but definitely not from an expensive buffet in a posh hotel.

It seems that any foods requiring chefwork would turn out horrible whereas foods eaten as is are good.
Exception is the ratatouille which tastes good and refreshing.

Now for the decent parts. Deserts were rather nice and refreshing. Ice cream is splendid.
Service is excellent. Giving 2 stars solely because of service.

Overall though, would not recommend at the current price (Would pay 500 THB at most, because I'm sure there are much cheaper places serving the same quality). A nice place with great location/sceneries, excellent service, but pity they serve such bad foods.

อาหารรสชาติสม่ำเสมอ แต่ที่ไปทานรอบล่าสุดขอติเรื่องกาคเสิร์ฟอาหารค่อนข้างช้า จัดลำดับออเดอร์แต่ละโต๊ะค่อนข้างแย่กว่าครั้งก่อนๆที่เคยไป โต๊ะใกล้กันมาทีหลัง สั่งทีหลัง แต่ได้ของมาจนเต็มโต๊ะก่อน สักพักถึงเริ่มเสิร์ฟโต๊ะผม
หากไม่ได้พาพ่อแม่ไป จะไม่รู้สึกติดลบขนาดนี้ แต่ครั้งล่าสุดตั้งใจให้พ่อแม่ได้ลอง กลับต้องไปนั่งรอเกือบยี่สิบนาทีทั้งที่คนไม่เยอะ
หวังว่าจะเกิดการปรับปรุงการให้บริการที่ดีขึ้นครับ

The Red Oven is very nice restaurant located at good location and have a very nice view. They have all you can eat menus in the evening. Mon-Wed is a-la-cart buffet (as in Menu). Thurs-Sun is Buffet line (seafoods and so on).

The restaurant is on 7th floor of So Sofitel Bangkok. The hotel is opposite of Lumpini Park. You can take taxi or MRT (Lumpini Station) and walk to the hotel.

A great selection of desserts but food option was quite limited. Seafood, particularly blue crab, wasn’t fresh. Pasta dishes were sub par while grilled meat was pre-cooked and tasted pretty bland. Overall, it isn’t worth the price.

‘Red oven’ So Bangkok ครั้งนี้มาเป็นครั้งที่ 4 แล้ว เป็นบุฟเฟ่ต์โรงแรมแรกๆที่เรานึกถึง เมื่อจะพาทีมงานไปเลี้ยงปีใหม่ เริ่มจากชอบการตกแต่งที่ดูดูดีทันสมัย ไม่หรูหราจนเกินไป ทุกคนไม่ต้องเกร็งกันมาก

ไลน์อาหารมีโซนซีฟู้ด พาสต้า อาหารไทย ก๊วยเตี๋ยว BBQ สลัด โคลคัท ซาซิมิ ซูชิ เค้ก ไอศครีม ฟองดู

เริ่มจากโซนที่ชอบมากที่สุด ของหวาน เพราะเยอะและหลากหลาย วน2-3รอบ แต่ red velvet cake แป้งเนื้อแข็งจัง

ซีฟู้ดสดดี น้ำจิ้มแซ่บใช้ได้
อาหารไทยอร่อย รสชาติดี ขนมจีนแกงปูดีนะ ซาซิมิสดดีมาก

โซนที่ผิดหวัง พาสต้าสั่งมา 3 จาน รสชาติไม่โอเค จืดและจาง

สรุป เป็น บุฟเฟ่ต์โรงแรม ที่อาหารคุณภาพดี ไว้ใจได้ระดับนึง ไลน์เยอะพอควร มีโปรคนละพันต้นๆถือว่าราคาโอเคเหมาะสม กินสนุกอยู่ระดับนึง เหมาะกับไปกันหลายๆคน

ช่วงนี้ทางห้องอาหารขอตรวจใบวัคซีนทุกคนนะจ้ะ

อาหารหลากหลาย รสชาติใหม่ ๆ โดยเฉพาะอาหารแนว Western อาหารทะเลส่วนใหญ่หรือทั้งหมดมาจากนำเข้าจากต่างประเทศ จะให้สดใหม่ตามที่คาดหวังก็คงไม่ใช่ โดยรวมออกมาแล้วพอใช้ ของหวานตัวเลือกเยอะดี รสชาติปานกลาง โดดเด่นเป็นบางอย่าง
โดยรวมแล้วใช้ได้ค่ะ แต่ตามมาตรฐานของโรงแรมร้านอาหารระดับ 5 ดาว อาจจะยังคงให้ 5 ดาวไม่ได้

The restaurant just come back to open. In the afternoon on Saturday the restaurant have only a la carte menu. The taste is so so, the service is excellent. The price is quite expensive.

วันนี้มาทาน dinner ที่นี่หลังจากที่ไม่ได้มานานผลจากยุคโควิด ดีใจที่ได้พบกับบรรยากาศที่มีชีวิตชีวาอีกครั้ง สถานที่โปร่ง การจัดที่นั่งให้ลูกค้าดีมากไม่แออัด พนักงานแจ้งให้ลูกค้าใส่หน้ากากและถุงมือไปตักอาหารทุกครั้ง ทำให้รู้สึกสบายใจดี พนักงานคอยมาเก็บจานที่ทานเสร็จแล้ว

ขนมหวานมีให้เลือกมากเหมือนเดิม ขนมหวานรสชาติดีค่ะ เสียดายน่าจะรวมชาร้อนให้สักหน่อย แต่วันนี้เป็นอีกวันดี ๆ ที่มีความสุขจริง ๆ

อาหารเยอะมากๆๆๆ หลากหลายมาก แค่กิน ปู กับหอย ก็คุ้มแล้วครับ พนักงานบริการดี น่ารัก ประทับใจมากครับ

I wish I could review the buffet itself, but when my husband and I arrived, everything was completely shut down and restaurant empty. We were told that the buffet wouldn’t be running tonight nor the next night because of a holiday, and we could only order a la carte items, which we didn’t want to do—the whole point was to enjoy the buffet. I booked reservations a month in advance and it would have been helpful to have been notified of this on the website. We ended up ordering a water, soda, and sharing a chocolate lava cake to not make the whole trip there a waste, and paid 580 baht, which is roughly $20 USD. The servers were lovely and lava cake was good which is why I gave 2 stars. We were really looking forward to this based on the high ratings and delicious-looking photos but we were left thoroughly disappointed.

Excellent atmosphere with superb Lumpini park view.
The restaurant serves not only buffet but also ala carte, although food was average.
Recommended to go before sunset to enjoy evening view of the park (see the photo at evening below.)

Red Oven ร้านอาหารในโรงแรม So Sofitel ที่สามารถเข้าได้ทั้งฝั่งสาธรและพระราม 4 ร้านอยู่บนชั้น 7 ได้วิวฝั่งตรงข้ามสวนลุม อยู่ในระดับสายตาที่เห็นแต่ความร่มรื่นของสวนพอดี ให้คะแนนบรรยากาศร้านไปเต็มๆ แต่ส่วนของอาหารไลน์บุฟเฟ่ต์ พอใช้ เครื่องดื่มและน้ำเปล่าไม่รวมอยู่ในราคาบุฟเฟ่ต์ รสชาติอาหาร คุณภาพโอเค พอใช้ได้

Went there on a Friday evening for dinner. Food was average slightly lack of variety but quality was on good. Service was superb I must say.

I love this restaurant the most. So stylish decoration with various dishes and Bangkok view is amazing. I highly recommend.

Had the 2000 THB buffet, really sad, the standard lobsters very too dry with smelly taste. Had to get them to do it fresh and it was a hit and miss most times with the taste but it was soft atleast.

The remainder of the buffet was pretty sad with nothing and i really mean nothing good on offer.

Never ever going back for this buffet. Go for the al la carte crab Thai style, that's at least 4 stars on the taste scale

Plenty of foods for you to choose, I and my sister went there to taste the lobster the atmosphere is quite good and nice services as the hotel standard.

Yes, this restaurant is phenomenal! Not to mention about the decorations of the restaurant "because this is why you should be there", the food is fantastic as well! One thing tho, beverages is for purchase, it's not included in the buffet. And a water is around 85b, so yea if that's too expensive for you, better drink some water before you head in.

Had dinner there tonight. Great service and delicious food. The menu is very, very good. The presentation is good too. A nice, upscale but relaxed casual vibe. They also have buffet stuff but I ordered from the menu. Delicious! The view of bangkok city at night from the large windows is good too. Definitely go here if you are in Bangkok!

Not really good as I'd expected. Nothing on the buffet line was spectacular. Japanese one was quite good as it should be. Seafood line was not so fresh. The most disappointing one was pasta station, it's overcooked. Dessert was so so except ice-cream, that was the most delicious thing there.
