55 Had an amazing time here with the Sunday brunch. We booked late and all the window seats were nearly full however Nancy made sure to move us to the window as soon as a seat was available. The transition to the new table was seamless. The service was attentive and amazing the entire time and if anything was missing one of the team brought us condiments or what ever else we needed. Kie was always filling our wine glasses and made sure we tried all 4 of the selection. At no point did the glass ever get empty. Amazing service. B, Gift, Yell and LK were always there help us to make the service amazing.
Food wise - Alaskan king crab and rock lobster was very fresh and continuously replenished. 3 different oyster with different dressings.
Many different Asian and international cooked food varieties as well. A lot of these were delicious so don’t just stick to the what you know try everything.
Wellington was a little salty. Lamb roast was nice. After roasting to rare they cut pieces and grill it to medium rare and top it with gravy.
Th desserts tasted nicer than they looked which is surprising as they looked amazing:) well done to the both the service team and the chefs you made our day and were looking forward to come here
Quite a bit of food If compared to the price, there is an add-on and additional cost if you want special food. The service is so good, overall it is okay, but the value is still at a moderate level.
A very good brunch! Expensive drinks. Not great service for the included drinks you have to ask for them too much the waiters don't have the attentive eye to fill them.
Compared to other Hotel Buffets, there are not many types of food, and the taste is average. The boiled spaghetti is terrible, worse than the ordinary foodcourt. The signature dish Beef Wellington is not delicious, and the cakes are not good. The dishes need to be cooked. Basically nothing is delicious. The best thing is that there is only a small piece of steak per person. In addition, the oysters and sashimi are good, the sorbet and ice cream are good. As for the free flow softdrink, you have to raise your hand and ask the waiter to refill it every time, and use Large plastic bottle...
Only the decoration and scenery are up to standard. I don’t recommend this restaurant for the food.
Great buffet. Great cocktails. They have an omelette station and a noodle station. I enjoyed their banotoffee ice cream and lychee shorbet
Staff are very friendly, especially the head chef with white shirts, he seems to be doing at least 5 men worth of job, and a lady at the dessert section, with such a big smile. All other members are very much welcoming and willing to help.
I liked the Thai taste of the restaurant too, felt like they were trying to cover from mild to authentic flavor of the Thailand cuisine.
Coffee, room for improvements though.
During breakfast, great variety to choose and very appetizing. If planning to stay, include breakfast is good option too. Can be pricey if with no promotion.
I went there for lunch (not the weekend brunch). It was one of the worst experience I had in thailand in 15 years… for a hotel advertising the “excellence à la Française” it’s honestly a shame. Everything was terrible, especially the cheese which is better on a plane in economy class. Not to mention that it was extremely pricy and that the staff vas vacuuming the place at 1: 30pm…
Pretty good value for money when going on the weekdays. Red oven offers most of the menu that typical hotels buffets have, from seafood on ice and cheese to hot station. I personally liked the dessert here, especially their gelato. Not the best but still is good enough to come back from time to time.
Too few variety of food for buffet with this price. Drink doesn't included in the buffet and charge at non reasonable expensive (50 THB for a glass bottle Singha water). Beef is not good. Japanese bar serves low quality material. Very few selection on the Seafood bar. Actually very few selection at every stations (except cake and gelato) and there are only a few food stations.
Good view but a bit disappointed for quality of food and choices, seafood pretty dry and not beautiful dishes compare with spending per person
Buffet with lobster complimenary but Coffee not included. The food has a decent taste. Food variety is not worth the price.
If you come for food not that very fancy or great just simple as it should be the view pretty nice however when compare to the price you paid it is too expensive so final thought you can try but do not expected
If u can get 50% off well worth it.abt 1100baht.beef n lamb tender.specially creme lobster soup amazing.each will hv only one big rock lobster.
Situated on the 7th floor of the lavish SO/ Bangkok, Red Oven Restaurant offers one of the most impressive all-day dining setups in the city, served up with well prepared dishes emerging from the unique scarlet stove. Food from around the world is available here: be it fresh seafood, pasta and pizza, vegetarian dishes, Asian dishes, or well-prepared sweets. Set up like a buffet, this restaurant also provides a-la-carte options for those who aren’t in the mood for multiple-course dining.
One of my favorites in Bangkok- very broad range of western and Asian inspired food at top notch quality - restaurant has a beautiful view to the Lupini park
