50 The air conditioning is not enough, the food tastes average, much better than Hong Kong Délifrance, a waste of a meal quota
Only the service is good, extra points for the waiters
Good food and high quality. Also a good bargain for lunch set. Love the different kind of butter you can try with your bread, authentic cabonara and cheese plate here.
Definetely one of the GOATs of french cuisine in the area. The price is not ridiculously high for french food but the taste is still insanely great. The bread starters itself is already arguably some of the best bread i've ever had. Recommend going during lunch for the lunch set. 3 courses (including dessert) for under 1000 baht.
Absolutely fabulous ambience, food and wine. Knowledgeable staff and of course Philippe himself is wonderfully friendly. A must go to whenever we are in Bangkok
A traditional fine dining in Sukhumvit area. Food portion and quality are valued for money. Service is good. I had set lunch THB 950+ including 1 appetizer, 1 main course and dessert.
Always enjoy Philipe. Hopefully, we will get to enjoy the food and service here for many years to come.
4 stars for food and service. Value for money. Good portions and quality. Ingredients are mostly imported from France. Set menu is recommended. $$$$
Philipe Restaurant is undoubtedly the best French Restaurant in Bangkok! Restaurant is beautifully decorated, Service is impeccable and food is delicious.
It's very close to perfect in my standard. The only thing i would say is that they didn't ask me how i would like my mixed skewer to be cooked. They only asked about my Lo Gong Lamb rack.
Anyway, everything else is perfect, even the side vegetables. Sophisticated taste
The medium cooked tomahawk is very delicious and you can tell they choose high quality ones. They added the grilled green pepper which makes the whole flavor upgraded. Haven't got a chance to try other main courses but will definitely do on my next visit.
Very delicious food, thoughtfully prepared with fresh and good quality ingredients. Excellent service. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with light background music. A perfect experience. Set lunch is of superb value.
Philippe is one of the oldest French restaurant in Bangkok that is run by chef Philippe who was one of the pioneer of French food in the Asean region.
We went for the lunch set. Food here is very classical and we found the food to be rather mild compared to other joints we gone to. Desert was average though.
The majority of the patrons are older French expats who seem to enjoy this style more than our table.
Service was good. Limited parking on venue.
Traditional restaurant with very nice staff. The interior is very classic and you can find something interesting in every corner. The choice of cuisine is wide and you can find something for everyone.
This restaurant is second to none. The service here should be an example to many so called fine dining restaurants.
If you want to experience fine French dining in Bangkok you can't go past this establishment.

️: We got the Set Lunch Menu—3 courses for 820 baht ($33 only!). I got the Salade de Cervelas, so tasty and creamy yet gives you a sense of healthiness whilst eating. For the main, I got the Pan Fried Red Snapper with Braised Beef Sauce on Vegetable Spaghettis. The fish was fresh and well cooked, whilst the sauce was flavorful, which went well with the light and refreshing taste of the vegetables. For dessert, I got the Panna Cotta Amaretto—sooo creamy and delicious—probably the best panna cotta I’ve had.
High level of food standard. The executive chef had been deciding very well-balanced dishes in term of taste n touch: crispiness, freshness, saltiness, aroma + Always serve high quality ingredients! A must!
I have set lunch, good selection menu but portion is small. Price is 850+. Atmosphere is very elegant, service is superb. Limited parking.
We had a dinner set menu of 5 courses. The food was excellent. I particularly love the foie gras terrine (pain d’epices and the brioche were so good), scallops and the steak with wine sauce. The service was excellent as well. Will definitely come back.
One of the best French restaurant in Bangkok. Good service, good decoration, good wine l, more importantly great food! I would highly recommend you to try this restaurant.
