La Casa Nostra reviews
58Dark, quite, it was almost empty. Food was not that great. We order Risotto. It was not cooked properly. Quantity was very little but was served in a big dish. The lanes to the place are quite dark and empty. Service was also average. Once a visit type. Not worth the money we spend.
This restaurant is sooo disappointing! We ordered pasta aglio olio e pepe, and there was too much pepe, absolutely uneatable. Others dishes were fifty fifty. There don’t know how to cook italian food. And it costed us quite a lot.
Happened to be in the area and felt lucky we got a table. The ambience was quite dark. The food was ok, the beef cheek was pretty tender but we didn’t like the sauce that much. The pasta was really good and the chicken stew was a little overcooked for us. The service was a bit a surprise as we were still eating but the waiter/dressed like manager/supervisor took my husband plate and left me eating alone on the table.
About cooking
Taste: Salty Quantity: Small Price: High
About wine: Good selection, low price
The biggest problem is that there are store staff who can't speak Thai properly.
Amazing food and atmosphere at this spot - perfect for meetups with friends or colleagues! Service could be more prompt, but the dining experience overall is worth it.
It's very delicious and the service is good, but the price is quite expensive, so I thought, why would I go to Thailand?
Among the pre-dinner bread, the focaccia was very, very soft and delicious, and both the potato and octopus were very soft, so it was so delicious and good as a starter! The aglio olio was slightly spicy, but this was also delicious, and I ordered it in a Riesling glass, but it wasn't too sweet and was good to drink with a meal.
Great Italian restaurant in Bangkok, The food is delicious the products were fresh, and had a large wine cellar. The staff members are really kind and professional. Such a good time?
A fancy place with OK food (expecting it to be better). Vongole was too fancy and too Al Dante (towards hard and slightly uncooked). Pumpkin salad and sausage was good. The worst was cheese platter (with cracker base).
The ambient was too noisy, I guess low ceiling make everything uncomfortable. Noise from next tables and live band were too overpowering and 'in your face'. It was supposed to be more 'peripheral' and more towards background ambience.
Tiramisu was the worst. No liquor taste in it (after all this is Italian place). But salted expresso caramel was excellent.
Wine was great since a great selection of them.
Coming back? No
The food is fresh and outstanding taste.pet friendly place. But the food is waiting times around 1 hour during busy dinner.
It is one of the best real Italian restaurants in Bangkok. The food was absolutely delicious, with a beautiful presentation. Excellent atmosphere, and great service overall. I went for my anniversary with my wife and had a great time. Fully recommended.
Second time to La Casa Nostra. Good standards before COVID but standards have dropped. Food was soulless and tasteless. Atmosphere was very noisy with running kids.
I admire the hardworking the earnest hardworking local staff who work very hard but the manager seems a little distant and more focused on special customers. Didn’t felt warmly welcomed. Wouldn’t return again.
4 stars for food and 3.5 stars for service. Interesting menu prepared by an Italian chef. Good selection of wines. $$$$
Easily the best Italian food in Bangkok.
Chef is from Sicily and he uses only the best products Italy has to offer.
The wine selection is HUGE! They let you pick your wines from a walk-in wine cellar.
We casually hit the business lunch.it's always so tasty and not that expensive - the portions are a bit small if you are hungry, but hey it's a business lunch ️ the staff is extremely welcoming and attentive ; being with a kid we keep extra care on that.
-1 for atmosphere only bc the music is a bit loud - i guess when the place is empty the staff just enjoys the stereo:)
An amazing experience! Great Italian restaurant in BKK! The food is delicious. All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. The chefs takes great care in selecting the best quality ingredients. The restaurant also caters for all tastes by providing a large selection of the best wines of their celler. The personal is really kind and professional. If you are around is a “must go” in BKK. I will be back for sure!
This is the place for authentic Italian food!
Chef and Sommelier are Italian and very passionate.
The walk-in wine cellar has some of the best wines in the world and at the most reasonable prices as they import their own.
Food menu has something for every taste.
SO TASTY!
Visited the venue a few times and it's by far one of the coolest wine restaurants ever, the vibe, food and attention to detail is absolutely great. For portions, and wine selections and value I don't think you can find anything better, kinda make you feel like you are in Italy or a wine producing country, where you can walk in the cellar, pick the wine you want. Cool place, highly recommended.
Great food, the chef is really friendly,
Spaghetti red prawn are tasty like in Italy, the price of the wines is so convinient
