27Love this yummy place! For a warm hearty meal of pork porridge and you can add egg or century egg! Yummy! Don't miss it!
The smoky porridge is really smooth, fine and flavourful. The smokiness is part of the flavour.its not burnt.very basic place, tables and plastic seats in an alley.dont expect any ambience.this is true bangkok street food.choice of ingredients available; pork, century egg, egg, fried dough, etc.simple food at its best. There is forever a line of people buying to takeaway.so there can be a bit of a wait, eg 15mins which is reasonable, depending on what time you are here
Very delicious smooth porridge with homemade pork ball, with a hint of smoky flavour. They also serve patongo, which is perfect combo with the porridge. Love their patongo as it is similar to Malaysian’s yau char kway. Definitely my go-to comfort food spot. It is a local’s spot and they sell out really quick. If you visit in the morning, do arrive before 10am, as they would be serving their last orders around that time. For evening session, they are opened around 4.30pm onwards.
Nice street food, very friendly staff, they don't speak English but you will get served! For the Portuguese visitors is a kind of açorda.
Go early on weekends! We went at 10am and it was sold out. Second attempt, we went at 9ish and was the last ones to be served.
Great pork porridge or congee that carries a char~like burnt taste in the rice porridge. Ingredients do have pork intestine, liver, minced pork, kidneys, & pig stomach.nice non~spicy dish, very Chinese styled meal.do recommend it
