Rated Bib Gourmand by Michelin over the past several guides Jok Prince focuses specifically on Congee, bargain prices finding the open-air space on Charoen Krung Road frequently packed with a mix of tourists and locals seeking comfort food throughout the day.

A “do one thing and do it well” concept, large bowls beginning at just 55 baht, Jok Prince’s Rice arrives broken down but still with a bit of texture and an overall effect that is creamy yet smoky surrounding chopped Vegetables, Meatballs and Offal with freshly-fried Donuts on the side.

The best porridge in Thailand, dare I say it. Yes, I have tried virtually all the famous and well-known rice porridge places throughout Thailand (even the ones in Hong Kong). And I definitely think this one is just simply the best. (My daughter even agreed to this assessment too). The “wok hay” flavor definitely add to its unique taste. Still cheap. Still a small, tiny place. Still a long-line to get in to sample its delicious porridge. Still worth the wait. It’s an institution now being a recognized “Michelin Stared” restaurant. And definitely there is a reason why. Highly recommended.

After taking an overnight flight, I arrived at the hotel in the morning, slept for a while, and woke up at three o'clock in the afternoon. I really wanted to drink porridge. After walking along the Shangri-La Hotel, I found this porridge shop. There are many People are queuing up, and there are a lot of guys outside waiting for meals.
Therefore, I walked into the restaurant without hesitation, and suddenly found that there were many signs recommended by Michelin.
I ordered their signature pork porridge, all kinds of pork belly, pork liver, pork, eggs, and preserved eggs.
Add the soy sauce, salt and pepper prepared on the table by yourself, and the taste is immediately amazing.
For the first meal in Bangkok this time, I gave an unremarkable but delicious pork porridge restaurant, which is very beautiful.

Consistently outstanding and reasonable price. Service is quick and efficient. One of my favourite quick fix comfort food!

โจ๊กปรินซ์กลิ่นไหม้ขอบหม้อ ใครชอบก็ชอบเลย ใครไม่ชอบก็ไม่แปลก ความแรงกลิ่นไหม้ไม่เท่ากันในแต่ละวัน ฮาา หมูสับก้อนใหญ่สะใจดี กินกับโก๋กรอบและหมี่กรอบ เข้ากัน

ชอบที่ยังมีร้านโจ๊ก​อร่อย​ๆเหลืออยู่​ บรรยากาศ​ร้านสไตล์​ตึกแถวแต่ดูสะอาดดี (ดีกว่าสมัยเด็กๆที่เคยมากินเยอะเลย) ​ เจ๊เสียงดุไปหน่อยที่บอกให้​ลูกค้า​เข้ามาสั่งในร้าน

รู้จักกันในนามโจ๊กมิชลินอะเนอะ มาช่วงค่ำๆ คนไม่เยอะมาก เอกลักษณ์คงจะเป็นกลิ่นคั่วกระทะอ่อนๆ (เรียกว่ากลิ่นหม้อน่าจะดีกว่า 55) สั่งแบบใส่ทุกอย่าง หมูสับก้อนใหญ่มาก มีตับ ไส้ เครื่องในอย่างละชิ้น ไข่ลวกนี่ชอบเลย กำลังเด้งๆ พอดี

เป็นโจ๊กที่มีรสชาติมีเอกลักษณ์ครับ ชอบหมูครับชิ้นใหญ่ แต่เครื่องในรู้สึกเฉยๆ ช่วงโควิทนี้ทางร้านให้ซื้อกลับบ้านอย่างเดียว แต่หลังจากนี้อาจจะได้ทานในร้าน

โจ๊กแห้ง คือ ใส่หมูสับ+เครื่องใน ไม่มีข้าวโจ๊กค่ะ ปรับปรุงเรื่องกลิ่นสถานที่ที่มีกลิ่นฉี่ฉุนไปหน่อยจะดีมาก

หมูสับชิ้นโต ๆ เต็มปากเต็มคำมาก พร้อมหอมกลิ่นไหม้เล็ก ๆ ที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของร้านนี้ค่ะ

Luck was apparently on our side. My bff and I came here around 8 pm and, thank Lord, got ushered right to the table immediately. (VIP vibe). 2 bowls of the legendary congee were served within ten minutes or so which, to our acknowledge, fetched from the bottom of the pot already. That’s why the staff had to cancel other groups of customers who kept coming in intermittently. A river of sweat ran down from head to toe while we were enjoying our hot congee on this summer evening.
FYI, public transport is the easiest way to come because of no parking area available.

Owner of the shop know to speak Chinese and Cantonese fluent. There will not be a problem on communication.

Taste is awesome. Minced pork taste has a sense of smell from grill charcoal, very unique. This shop is open 2 rounds in the morning and afternoon.
