Hair of the Dog Phrom Phong Craft Beer Experience

I’m so this place survived Covid. This have been my place for beers ever since I got a tattoo at All Day Tattoo!

Staff has changed but the new ones are just as great, they know their beers and gin and can answer any questions you have.

We always meet interesting people here, always someone to chat to!

Great beer selection and nice Thai staff. Prices aren’t cheap but importing fresh craft beer from the US and Europe isn’t inexpensive. I wish they had better video games or a shuffle board or a pinball game. But the beer is awesome. Not for the unwashed backpacker.

This bar has a fantastic selection of craft beer. They have 13 beers on tap. You can try a sample taster before committing to an entire glass. They have an extensive can and bottle collection as well.

Great little place. I thought i recognised the name, then after a few minutes I realised that it was the same franchise as the Hair of the Dog I went to in Phloen Chit. Friendly staff and tasty drinks.

Hair of the Dog stands out as a one-of-a-kind bar with an impressive selection of beers. I sampled a few and each was great. They primarily feature imported brews, and the staff was knowledgeable in guiding my choices. I'm planning a return visit. I did not try their food.

Have been coming here since they opened years ago. Big fan! One of the few bars where a girl can sit alone and enjoys her drinks comfortably.

Beers are always fresh and never gave me a bad hangover considering how strong some of them are (or if I have one too many).

The staff know their beers, great music, big plus when Pete’s around ;)

Overall great experience here. Similar bottles of import options same as any craft beer shops here in Bangkok. Love that they have a dine in and a takeaway options. Bathroom could be improved. Music could have been a little bit louder as I love rock and metal music.

A solid bar/community where you can have some chin music with lads there and excellent craft beers

We were looking to take a break from Thai lagers and decided to check out hair of the dog. It was a wonderful taste of home (USA) with a fabulous craft beer selection on draft and tons of cans available to purchase too. The bartender was incredibly friendly. We felt very welcomed and had a great time talking with the other patrons as we enjoyed the calm for the exciting storm that is Bangkok on NYE.

For my money, the best service, selection, ambiance of any craft beer bar in Bangkok! A must visit any time you can.

Small bar specialising in craft beer. Excellent selection of drinks. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Well worth a visit.

There is an aggressive old bald white guy (one of the owners?) who wanders behind the bar and insults the customers. Could be a great bar if he was gone.

This place is my top 3 favorite place. The atmosphere is great too. I usually come here to work with my pups. Great place!

Fabulous little peach of a craft beer bar hidden away in an unassuming side alley. Excellent selection of beers from very solid American and European breweries. 12 or so taps with many more bottles and cans.

Food options are good too, and cater to vegetarians.

Lastly, service is extremely friendly and good. Definitely worth seeking out this place.

Great beer, great staff, all around good time. Highly recommend. They have arcade machine which is super sick and cool! Great for kids as well as an awesome selection of beers from everywhere! Including Boston (my home town) and even from Germany!

Excellent selection of craft beers, solid service, and a lowkey atmosphere. Upstairs is a Breakfast story, owned by the same folks as the bar, and it is delicious. Come get some pancakes upstairs, have a beer, maybe a cocktail on the 1st floor, and listen to a great playlist.
