It was a perfect and delightful end to my first night in Bangkok. I was given a special dinner treat by my friends after a spinning round of Thai delicacies during the day and noon time.

Gianni gives you a distinguished feel and a cosy ambience. Walking into the shop, you are transported to a different world marked by the dimly lit background, low-volume chatter and beautiful interior decor. As a party of four, we ordered their recommendations, and they all checked out. I particularly enjoyed their prosciutto and medium rare wagyu beef cooked to perfection.

It’s a pity we were too exhausted from the whole shopping day to try out their wine collection. Otherwise, it would have ended on a higher note.

Gianni is a very impressive restaurant with friendly and warm service and excellent food that makes you want to come back again and again.

What an amazing find in Bangkok! The specials menu is varied, the main menu is extensive. Join this with an exceptional wine cellar, great service and what a night!

Let me introduce you to one of the finest Italian restaurants that I have been to in Bangkok, Thailand. Gianni Ristorante is one of Bangkok’s best-loved and most enduring Italian restaurants for more than 24 years and counting. With a very loyal client base, they have treated guests to unique experiences across an exquisite culinary journey.

Battuta di Gamberi, Beef Rossini or Tournedos Rossini is a classic french steak dish where the fillet steak is served with a crouton and a pan-seared slice of foie gras, classically served with fresh truffle and a Madeira glaze,

This had to be one of my favourite of the entrées that was served for lunch at Gianni Ristorante. Inside cannelloni was the most delicious creamiest eggplant with spices that teased your palette, wanting more.

Many more delights grazed out table with elegance and style.

HIGHLY recommend to go here on a date, night out and just because you wanna have something amazing!

Overall experience was good. Great service and good food. Lamb was tasty. Four dishes with one bottle of Prosecco costed us 8,800.

I recently visited Gianni's for lunch. Bringing my business partners along turned out to be a great decision, as we enjoyed a private and intimate setting, allowing for meaningful conversations. The owner's attentive care made my partners feel special, and his discreet yet warm demeanor added to the overall experience. Gianni's passion for cooking was evident as he generously shared valuable cooking tips, which I eagerly absorbed. The simplicity and high quality of the dishes we savored made for a delightful and light lunch. I never leave Gianni's without gaining some culinary inspiration and leaving with a satisfied palate.

Went there for Christmas day️ 10/10 for overall experience!
Ambience: Quiet, fancy but cozy.
Service: Manager and staff are very attentive and helpful. The courses were served in order.
Food: Authentic Italian cuisine. Tenderloin was perfectly cooked. Seafood risotto is to die for! The hand-twisted pasta is also my fav ones.
Definitely coming back for more!

We ordered a special dish: white truffle pasta (1,900 THB +), which was not on the menu.

We’ve been coming here for years and it’s retained the ambience and quality that it’s always had. Excellent food and great service. One of the best Italian restaurant in Bangkok.

Service was marginally acceptable there was occasional over talking and not enough listening. Some statements even blame us for not ordering enough.

Wow I expected so much more from this place and I’m blown away at the 4.5 star review. We went two for a business lunch and found the service to be shockingly rude. I believe the man was even a manager because of his jacket, but had poured me to taste the wine but before I even got a chance to taste it - had poured the whole glass anyways. They acted with an attitude or irrelevancy. The food also (from the lunch menu) was bland and effortless. The most shocking dish was a Piadine I ordered that was essentially a terribly made quesadilla, using frozen spinach and thrown some cheese. After our meal we were rushed out of the restaurant in a very rude way as they were closing for lunch. In any case I definitely won’t return and definitely will spread the word. Please adjust your prices according to taste and attitude.

I tried Gianni last night for the first time and was extremely impressed with everything - food, service, ambience, and especially the wine and grappa lists. It's a very special restaurant, now definitely one of my most favorite restaurants in Bangkok.

Outrageously good! Must come again! Steaks and lamb chops was awesome. Portobello mushrooms simply exquisite. Pasta dishes very tasty. Tried several pasta dishes and each of them well prepared. The black ink squid pasta was excellent. They also have a wide range of wines to select.

A famous Italian restaurant that captured many people heart. The place has been operating for a long, but this is my first time here since they changed location. The place offered rather traditional Italian cusine cooked perfectly. However, they also have off menu dishes, which personally I think should just listed them on the menu. All the dishes are great especially the beef and pasta, while the service is alright with rather long wait. Overall, the place is great for those who want a nice, cosy Italian food at a very resonable price.

Unfortunately it changed when it moved. I went for lunch and should have ordered lunch specials. I didn't. I ordered a la cart. Rocket salad and risotto were same size as set lunch but double the price. Loved the warm breads.

30, May I and my husband went to Gianni for dinner first time and we were very satisfied and very happy for Rohit and chef Stefano. We have been to many countries in the world. We always look for the best Italian restaurant during our traveling and we are very well experienced! I must say This Italian restaurant is really high rank and professional Italian restaurant with reliable price! Their service is very good! Place is clean and nice! We will go back!
