A magnificent discovery in Bangkok, very beautiful flavors and a lot of research! Thanks again to Clara and her husband for this beautiful moment.

High end italian restaurant, bright and airy ambience, good attentive service comes with a price. The place is hard to find located very strangely deep in soi. The food is well presented, taste good but a bit small in portion. The lighting is a bit dim and wasn’t ideal for instagramer i think. However, overall i still do have a good experience here.

This should be a Michelin star restaurant, fabulous food, fabulous service, great ambiance, worth every baht. Highly recommended.

Went for the 9 course signature and the whole table left feeling extremely satisfied with the meal AND the service from both Clara and team, was also glad to meet Christian. Clara was exceptionally patient in explaining every single dish and the team actually managed to make it work for one of my guest who is lactose intolerant (tall order especially in Italian cuisine).

Staff were extremely attentive and napkins were folded when guests went to freshen up, cutleries were promptly replaced… females were served first etc. Top tier hospitality

We also got a home made bottle of chocolate liqueur that was the great closer to the night. Thank you so much team CLARA

First experience was last year with the autumn menu at a business dinner. This time was the winter menu and private dinner with my spouse.

Food: 10/10. I did not imagine that as impressed as I was the last time, the food would wow us even more. That is what happened however, the chef excelling with the winter menu left us in love with dish after dish. Difficult to name favorites, will just say not a single one of the dishes was less than a 10.

Service: 10/10. Clara’s personal warm welcoming and attentive presence sets the bar which the staff all follow through, competently.

Ambience: 10/10. Was glad to be seated on the main ground floor area. Floor size, music, noise, placement of tables… nothing to be faulted. And everything fades away when the food is this good.

We will be back and excited to see the next menu.

We had a lovely experience at Clara. The food was good. The restaurant decoration and atmosphere was nice. Clara came around to greet the guests and asked how it's going from time to time. Toward the end of the meal, we gave her some small feedback. She took the comment seriously by sending the chef and sommelier to listen to us and gave some small gifts as an apologize although it was not necessary. We were impressed with her attentiveness.
There is only 3 parking space in the front but valet service is available.

You pay for the atmosphere 99%, the food 1%. We had the 5 courses (cheapest one), none of the 5 dishes are delicious, they are too salty. Doesn't worth the 6000 baht cost.

We went for the 9 courses with a la carte wines. 1 of us was allergic to fish and shellfish, the kitchen solved this perfectly. Perfect hostess who feels very good about her guests.quality and service is highly regarded in this business. Not cheap, but every dish is worth paying for. We'll be back next time we're in Bangkok.

Italian fine experience!

The restaurant atmosphere from the entrance to the dinning room is absolutely beautiful, the service is on point and the cuisine delicious. Special preference for the uni burrata and fennel dish which was out of this world! Well done for this great experience we will be back.

We had a lovely experience at Clara, the food was really delicious and the staff were really friendly! And we even had a small attention to celebrate our anniversary

WORST experience ever! We waited for 45mins for our table which we’ve reserved a month ago and we arrived on time, we tried to reflect to the waitress and she even said that’s because we came too early!? And the food is not as expected.

Once again, we came for a culinary journey and we were not disappointed. Clara will remain an Italian paradise for most discerning palates in Bangkok. A special mention to Theo and Edouard for having made that Italian journey as interesting as entertaining.

We had a table of 6 for Christmas Eve and spent a wonderful time. The festive menu was very well done. Also, one of our friend who is vegetarian, could have very qualitative alternative!

Entertaining food presentation, warm personable service with attention to detail warms your soul. The space and ambiance take you somewhere in Florence, where light is lit and intimate, committed to beauty, and wine and conversations don't end. Food is delicious. 5 course was plenty.

I really recommend especially if you have some special event. This place is the must to go. Food was so spectacular every dish have details suggested by the owner (Clara)

An outstanding dining experience (!) I was surprised Clara does not have a Michelin star.

The arrival experience through the garden forecourt is incredible (it has an art gallery-Esque ambience). And the restaurant's interior is chic-modern with high ceilings. The owners have done a superb job in creating a unique ambience that is refreshingly different from common minimalist interiors – It’s classy while being warm and cosy also

Hospitality was perfect. After I was greeted upon entry and taken to my table, Clara, co-owner and to who the restaurant was named, came over to introduce herself. She gave me a warm welcome and then introduced me to Christian, co-owner and head chef.

I was having dinner and selected Clara's signature 9-course menu with paired wines. Each course was nothing short of delicious! The sommelier, Julian, had selected outstanding wines that paired perfectly with each course. If I was to be pedantic, I would so that I felt the Barolo with the pigeon main was just a little slightly overpowering but, as I don't usually drink such heavy reds in Australia it could have just been my palette – But the pigeon and Barolo were both outstanding!

Chef Christian took me on an exciting culinary journey. The dishes he designed were delicious and innovative, some referencing food from his childhood and hometown and others his modern interpretation of traditional dishes. All courses were plated up creatively and gave a surprise each time - A reason why we love fine dining (!) There are some dishes that you never forget - And at Clara, I will always remember the orzotto, and spaghetti, they were unforgettable!

Christian and Clara are perfectionists, you see this in their attention to detail with the food, service, hospitality, and interior. And are supported by a well-trained and professional team.

Once again, thank you, Christian, Clara for your hospitality and a wonderful and memorable dining experience. I look forward to returning next year!

The problem with holidays in France is they mean not dining at Clara for a month…. Chef Christian is the incredibly talented and creative conductor of a delicious symphony of gastronomic pleasures. His wife Clara is the most gracious host. Together their talent and passion make Clara Restaurant an addictive gourmet and friendly pleasure.

One of the most incredible and memorable dining experiences we have ever had!
We made a reservation for dinner and absolutely loved it from start to finish. The service was top notch, and the carefully crafted dishes & creativity of the tasting really stood out. They allow for Italian and in season ingredients to shine while staying true to Italian cuisine with a modern twist. They were also very pertinent about their wine selection and the wine pairing was awesome.
They were extremely communicative before and during our time there.
You will not be disappointed coming here! Make your reservation early!
